They will leave nails on the floor.destroyed all our plants near the home and left garbage on the yard. They installed siding around a fence post and cut all our cable wires

Our new roof (old siding... no gutters yet))

Power installed our windows in 2013 and we've been thrilled with the look, quality and durability. The lifetime warranty was a huge selling point for us. When we knew our aging roof wasn't going to last much longer, we knew who to call. They gave us fair, loyal customer pricing and excellent financing. The team was courteous, respectful and cleaned up when the job was done. They had the entire roof complete in less than 2 days and it looks fabulous. I'm so happy I trusted Power and we just signed to have them do our siding as well. I'm excited to experience our "new house" with all the improvements! We just got our siding finished in Regatta Blue. We had to have asbestos shingles removed from the back of our house and Power worked with us on pricing to hire a local contractor to get it done safely. Power had to postpone on us twice due to the weather, but it worked out okay. I was getting nervous because of all the bad reviews on here. They said it would take three days and finished in 2. They cleaned up after themselves and everything looks perfect. The team was nice and responsive. I wasn't thrilled that they disconnected my internet without warning me, but they hooked it up again before they left for the day. I would have liked a heads up since I work from home, but I understand why they had to disconnect while they worked on that area. All in all, it was finished quickly, with minimal disruption to our routine, pricing and financing seemed fair, and I'm happy with the end result. For all of those who say they "bribe" customers for good reviews, that was not the case here at all! We negotiated on price but that was separate from any reviews or coverage and price was already determined. We didn't get anything for free or, as a journalist for top ecommerce outlets and an elite yelp reviewer, I would have to disclose that. So if other people got discounts - I'd be mad! Lol Anyway - really happy and much better going with a prestigious, nationwide company than a fly by night contractor, although I do prefer to support local businesses when possible!

One of many windows they did !!

Very thorough, on time, crew works fast. I like the app to update me on the projects. company is very responsive, they care about the customer. I'm getting my windows done and the crew took the time to explain what other issues are going on and what's causing them and the appropriate next steps which makes me feel like an informed consumer as home renovations can be daunting. I'll most likely use them to fix those issues (siding, gutters, soffits, fascia)

We have had ongoing issues with this company across multiple installations. The initial window installation had quality problems, including messy grout, paint damage from tape removal, and a defective window. After replacement, the new window still does not stay open. When concerns were raised, a supervisor visited the home but also discussed additional sales for siding and a front door, which we proceeded with. During the siding installation, multiple holes were left in interior walls, requiring documentation and third-party repair work. The front door installation was also incomplete, as a promised keypad was not installed and required a follow-up visit. Communication has been a persistent issue. Multiple requests for a manager callback have not been returned, and we were informed the earliest available service appointment to address the window issue is approximately five months out. At this time, we have an unresolved functional issue with the window and have not received timely support despite repeated attempts to resolve it. We would not recommend based on our experience with installation quality and service follow-through.

Seal failure discolored front bay window. Took over a year to have fixed.

Power home remodeling is no longer honoring their "double lifetime warranty" on their windows. They have sold many people faulty windows that have seal failure within a few years. All of our windows have had to be replaced with in a few years of being replaced by Power. This was frustrating but for a while Power replaced at no charge. Now they have devised a plan to make customers responsible for paying $180 per window sash. I have four that need to be replaced currently. I wish companies would do the right thing. Don't they realize that by covering the $800 to do these replacements would end up giving them more business in the long run when customers applaud them for doing the right thing. Instead they have made enemies out of customers who just want what they were promised.

Last summer it was sweltering hot, with most days listed as "above average" and many of THEM at 90…read moredegrees or above. By Labor Day, the weather person said "If you thought THIS summer was hot wait a few years until you remember this summer as the last cool one we had". We have a large Western-facing bow window that was getting direct sun. We put that window in 27 years ago, and it worked perfectly fine. Opened, closed, clear glass, nice screens. Really, a very nice bow window without a single problem. I didn't have window treatments because I like a plain look and it's a living room, not a bedroom. But I felt like I was under a magnifying glass, with the sun concentrating in our living room. The air conditioner would not stop cranking, and it was only getting moderately cool. All my neighbors have the same problem, but solved it with thick drapery which, aside from being expensive (4K for one neighbor!) was just dark. I was out shopping with my parents for window treatments, and my father said "Just get Renewal by Andersen Low-E glass". Now my dad is a frugal guy AND a builder. I couldn't BELIEVE he was recommending replacing perfectly good windows, but he explained "They are the best windows out there, I only use Andersen, and look, my house doesn't get hot". And it doesn't. Well one more hot day later, and I call the Andersen people. They have fliers, commercials, social media ads...I just found one of those numbers and made the call. I might have said "I am roasting alive in my own house". Next week, a consultant, Vito Anasto, comes to the house, and he has his box of samples, and a heat lamp. He was so down to earth, and didn't try to "sell" me anything. In fact, I started talking about OTHER windows, and he asked if I had any idea what windows cost, and I hadn't. So he gave me a ballpark figure and I quickly agreed that we should just discuss the one bow window. It was higher than I expected, but I appreciated his honesty. So he explained how the Low-E windows worked, and I was already getting excited. Then, out comes the heat lamp. Vito said "I usually don't do this demonstration, but since it says here 'Client reports being roasted alive' let me show you exactly how these work". So he takes the heat lamp, opens one of my existing bows, and holds the heat lamp outside. I touch the inside of my glass, and almost burn my hand. Then we decamp to the table, and he has samples. We do the same thing with each of the samples, and with the top-of-the-line sample, it's like a trivet. Cool to the touch! I was SOLD. Vito explained that he doesn't have to really sell the windows, the product sells itself; he's just there to figure out which of the local and national deals--which are ongoing--will help me get the best price. And after some searching and playing on his computer, out comes a price. It was higher than I thought it would be, but it was one price. No add-ons, no surprises later...one and done. Well, I looked longingly at that sample that acted like a trivet, and signed. No regrets.

In 2022, I got two bedroom windows (see previous review) and then this week, I got a new sliding patio door/backdoor and a kitchen window (awning style). I received three quotes for the sliding glass door. Andersen quoted me at $6,800 (of course, it was $9,700 but then their magical discounts brought it into the high 6's) and Power quoted me at $5,800 (of course, if I signed RIGHT THEN AND THERE, it would be $5,100 only). They also both told me that it would be 7-10 weeks for install. Window World quoted me at around $4,000 for the door and within 3 weeks of putting down a deposit, I had a new door and window. The door is perfect and has built-in blinds that open/shut and raise/lower. The window is gorgeous - I took their recommendations and went with the awning-style window instead of one that goes up and down (they called this Double Hung). Absolutely fantastic service from Bill and Matt, as well. The installation took about 3 hours and was done perfectly.
