For the Henderson area, Ron is your best man for pool tile cleaning. He came in and bead blasted my pool tiles in one afternoon and painted some protection finish on the tile to make them looking new again. This was a lot less expansive than replacing the tiles which had gathered calcium over the years from our NV hard water. Ron is knowledgeable and answered all of our questions. I can't say enough good things about Ron! He came over straight from the airport after just getting back to Vegas. He didn't want to treat or even give me any advice until he could see the pool and my yard. He spent an hour answering my questions and explaining things to me in detail and didn't ask for a penny. (I Zelled him $50 because I felt so guilty after getting so much help from him.) If you've ever tried to take care of your own pool and you use the internet for information, you know how much contradictory info there is. One guy says one thing and 10 other guys say 10 other things. Ron gave me his take on all of it. His experiences and what's worked for him over the years and how I should proceed. He knew I was capable of doing it myself so there was never any sort of "sales" talk from him. He even offered to talk to my landlord to explain our pool needs! Ron came by to give an estimate to remove all the calcium on the tiles surrounding our pool. He spent over an hour walking the pool, giving us advice on how to treat and maintain the system, which filters to add to improve smooth operation of the cleaning system. We had Power Play Pool Solutions out to do our acid wash. Ron came to the house and gave us an estimate initially. He walked us through the process and options on scheduling. Ron also noticed that our auto fill valve was not working, putting the water level too high. Within a few days they came out and completed the job along with replacing the valve, adjusting the chemicals and answering all of our questions on our pool equipment. Our pool looks like new again! I was having issues getting my pool, chemicals, balanced, and lots of calcium buildup on my pool tile. I couldn't get it figured out so I asked around and was referred to Ron at PowerPlay. I called Ron and that same day he came by the house and checked everything out and I was really impressed with his professionalism and his knowledge of pools. I don't post many reviews , but this one was necessary , have a 8 year pool that had tons of calcium on the tile and the plaster was disastrous so I thought, nothing to be proud of , I had great communication, told me exactly the steps they were taking and the pool looks like it is brand spanking new again, plaster looks amazing with the acid wash and the tile has no more calcium and looks absolutely amazing. Best service ive ever had in Vegas. I had a water leak at my house and had literally 6 plumbers, 3 pool companies and 3 landscapers come over and try and find it and Dorian came over and identified the problem almost immediately where these others couldn't. He was able to come back and fix it right way and the cost was $165 where others were wanting to charge me $7,500-$10k to fix what they thought was wrong. He helped me avoid these all too common Vegas scammers. He even came back twice to check on everything and help me when one of the plumbers cranked my pool water up and made the pool ovrflow onto the patio. Dorian came over immediatley to fix the problem someone else created. I highly highly recommend Dorian for any work you need. Very reliable, very professional and not trying to scam you. Those of us who live in Vegas knows everyone is trying to overcharge and scam you here. Not this company. read more
