However, when I was a kid, my dad would take me with him to the hardware store, and I would get a lollypop while he and whomever from behind the counter would wander around looking for an eyebolt or the right shade of caulk. Giulio- who I assume is the owner, is easily 10 years older than my mom, who lives in the assisted living up the street. My mom can't be bothered to go to the chair yoga we're paying for, but Giulio went to work. He's not totally mobile, but he knows his s#!t. Whenever I come in, he or whoever else is behind the counter is happy to chat through my issue and suggest something. It's not a Home Depot- so they may not have what you're looking for every time- but they have a lot of things, and it makes me happy to know my money is staying local. Also, side story: One day during the summer, it's like 90, and I am behind a contractor who's getting a bunch of stuff - lumber, rocks...I don't know- but he's paying for it, and he grabs some water bottles for him and his crew and puts them on the counter. Giulio totals him up and says a number; the guy says, "Oh, don't forget these waters". Giulio says, "The town where I come from in Italy has the best water in the world, and it flows right off the mountain. If my father knew I was charging people for water, he'd come back from the dead and strike me down. Those are free." C'mon. How can you not go here first?

I went to get the same deck screws that I had purchased here last year and they no longer have that one, which is fine. What is not fine is when I wanted to ask the clerk about it. First there was only one person working that morning and while I am nearly certain that he was on a work call he did not acknowledge that I was there waiting. Another customer in front of me gave up and left merchandise on the counter and split. Another man was behind the counter-off duty? a friend of the employee? So I confirmed that they do not carry that brand anymore and I too split-for the big box store.

Knipex and Wright are my favorite brands, and there is plenty of both here, plus other great manufacturers such as Stiletto, Vessel, and others. They can even order things for you from various catalogs, such as my Wright tool chest that Jessy ordered for me and had delivered to my office. Completely satisfied here! I guess Jessy doesn't need the money, since he barely charges any profit on special orders and it's almost like he enjoys the fact that the customer pays so little, which makes it a great value when placing special orders. When I went to pick it up he initially balked at returning my $15.00 deposit but relented when I produced a receipt. My opinion: Watch out for these guys.

Bought the mower in 2024, it's been working great but then recently it stopped working. Called up EGO and since my lawn mower is still under warranty they said I have to bring my mower to a certified repair shop to get it fixed. Luckily this place is the repair shop. Michael fixed the mower quick and I'm back in business. There was a delay but it wasn't because of Michael. It was because we had to wait for the part from EGO. Yes the price of the mower is way higher than what we're used to but with the warranty and having this shop nearby as my main lawn mower resource, the cost over many years of ownership is going to be cheaper than buying a new mower every two years. These guys are great and I plan to stick with them as my mower resource for many years.

The last three…read moretimes I have been since the remodel, the items I wanted were significantly more expensive then elsewhere and or they just did not have them at all. For example a 6 pack of Terry Cloth towels at $9.99 vs a Pack of 48 of the same towels at home depot for $7 more. The same fixture at Orchard at 30% less. Then I went to get a basic dolly - nothing. But what is far more frustrating is using them as a job stop when they don't even supply the tools to install the products they sell. For example, today I wanted to replace my faucet, they have several models but they don't sell the faucet installation tool that only cost $20 and takes up almost no space. On what planet does that makes sense? They got 15 kinds of pipe wrenchs and even specialized tools for installing garbage disposals but they don't carry a basic EZ change faucet wrench? Why would I buy something that cost $100 just to have to drive to a whole different store ten miles away to get the tool I need to install it. When I go to a hardware store I expect them to have the hardware for the items they sell, vs wasting my time. I am just done assuming this store has what I need to get jobs done. My local ACE store does, so that one is still my go to place.
