I am so happy I had a wild hair to join jazzercise. I've been at this jazzercise for about half a…read moreyear now, and I don't plan on stopping anytime soon. I feel so fit, so strong and so confident! Huge shoutout to Jodi the owner and jazzercise instructor - she is one badass woman. Recalling my first class, I will say the first class is surprisingly intimidating, and I think that's normal. Everyone will feel like a fish out of water at first, but JUST KEEP GOING. There will be a point where you start to memorize the dance moves (the instructors will repeat the same dance moves in their songs), and pretty soon you will be in-sync, gliding across the room with all the other women like one big drill team. For anyone wondering what jazzercise is, the best way I can explain it is: think of Zumba & Pilates in one, and yes! We do use weights/mats. We start with stretching, move on to cardio/dance to get the heart rate up, then legs, then arms, then abs. Our classes will have every part of your body on fire. And for reference, I am a 26F athlete, and this class kicks my ass. Also, Jazzercise is equally as challenging as it is FUN. I've never had so much fun working out. If you're curious, the first class is free so no harm done! Give it a try and we'll see you there!

The classes are fun, high energy, and a great combination of cardio and strength training. I leave every class feeling stronger and more energized. What I appreciate most is how welcoming the environment is. The instructors do a great job motivating everyone while still making the class feel supportive and encouraging. Whether you're new to fitness or have been working out for years, you can go at your own pace and still get a great workout. I also love that the workouts change often, so it never gets boring. The mix of music, movement, and strength training makes the time go by quickly. If you're looking for a workout that is effective, positive, and actually fun to attend, I highly recommend Jazzercise with Jodie and all of the amazing instructors.

Maintaining mobility, balance, and strength through functional movement training can make a difference in the performance level of real-world functional challenges. Everyone has different strengths and limitations, but working within a client’s individual ability level is key to progression, not regression. No one wants to look or feel older than they are. Living an active lifestyle keeps you young both in body and mind. I have recently partnered with a team of fitness professionals to offer a series of 12 online fitness programs.
