Amazing experience!! The whole PPL team treated us with respect and worked to get us the perfect RV for our family.

They will misrepresent what they sale. They lie and the rv will leak from top to bottom. They do not consider the consumer as much as the seller. Single ladies run from PPL they are not truthful and will take advantage of you especially if it's the first time to purchase. A realtor would loose their license over the lies told. Easy care warranty covers nothing. Monitor will not work as they show it and tell you a lie and push you into the room. Even the transporter was saying how horrible they did me. The only door to RV warped jacked up,salesman Mike will promise it will be fixed and ceiling fan will just look like it works. Anthony is only interested in making a penny even if it cost you everything. He should be fired!Shady place. Shame shame on all involved. Over priced and not worth the dirt on tires!!!! MISREPRESENTING TO CONSUMERS. NEW LAWS SHOULD BE MADE TO COVER LYING SALESMAN, MIKE AND EMILY IN FINANCE AND MANAGEMENT!!! Pretty good experience purchasing a used travel trailer - salesperson, staff and service responded quickly to calls. The only downside is expect a heavy sales job on pre delivery fee, walk through fee, doc fees, misc fee and high pressure to finance. I think it ended up being close to $2k on top of purchase price to walk out the door. read more

We just sold a motor home through PPL and were initially happy with their initial meeting. But things when down hill from there. We were told we would be kept in the loop about how things were going. We only got these updates when we specifically reached out and asked for info. The next thing we got that came in at 2am was a request for our ACH info. OK, we called and asked why they were asking that. Must have gotten an offer, it is automatic in our system. Then we get an email , "please approve the work order" for $1000 worth of work. When we called about the work, (and only approved some of the work) we were led to believe that the sale was dependent on whether or not the work was done. In none of these interactions were we told or given paperwork that our trailer had sold or was under contract. AFTER approving the work, we are told that it was already sold and didn't we receive any information?? No, we did not receive any info about that. We may not have approved all the work, if it was already sold. In our opinion, this was primarily looking out for the buyer and trying to gouge the seller for more profit. If we had known it was already sold, we may not have agreed to the work and loosing an additional $600. We feel like we were deliberately deceived. They said, "oh the info on the sale must have gone to your junk mail". No it did not. VERY frustrating and underhanded in our opinion. read more

Stir clear of their staff. They are very deceptive about their charges. On the day I went to put my down payment of $500, they later chared my account with another amount that was not explained. When I called for an explanation, they sent me a partial copy of something. In addition, they charged over $300 for make ready. What a joke. They did not do much to "make ready". They did not even check if the brake, tail lights or electric brakes were functioning. When I got home, I found the 7 pin connector was not properly put in. NO wash job, no clean up of the interior. I don't even know where to start... Maybe at the excellent customer service from Leo when I first started messaging him almost weekly about a camper I wanted. He was patience with me, knowledgeable, and not pushy when I finally sold our current camper and came to look at the one I had my eye on. Or maybe Mariah who didn't even have a reason to talk to me but we ended up striking up two hour conversation while I waited for all the paperwork and ceramic coating. I had my cat with me since we were heading to go camping right after I picked it up and she was so helpful and welcomed us into her office so he could roam around and not be cooped up. Or finally Milad who completed my financing. He was quick, answered all my questions, and made financing a breeze. Everyone there was amazing and even the GM ran out to help ceramic coat our camper so I could get on the road quicker. Staff all knew we needed a camper 3-5 days or daughter and 2 month old would be homeless every single person that works in the new braunsfel area is aware of the dishonest , false charges. 1: I meet with sales to tell them what ur looking for "( we only use electric )" most campers propane/electric so we disconnect propane / don't use stove 2: make appointment to see what they have on lot 3 : look at inventory , make sure electric , sales check web it said electic spoke with service mgr promise check / call when rv in service 4 : make offer to owner asking 24,980 offer 26000 TT&L out the door . now here is the crap .. refuse offer okay ! So we made another trip ppl told sales person we wanted to look at roof , slides and inside again . Saleperson walked to rv with my relative , ladder never came so sales person tried taking photos of roof and slide standing on ground . So we was greeted by general mgr , service mgr, sales, finance dept, insurance finder, promising camper is electric but if it isn't they would refund all money ( that's why general mgr wanted payments in card /not cash) , told , text call me when in service for the " so called delivery inspection" $648 plus $500 down . 3 days later general mgr called we caught this before inspection but camper is not going to work because water heater is propane only ! What ! Took 3 days to call with info so made trip ppl after call took pictures camper never moved . Receive message VP of PPL is not refund 648$ predelivery inspection , will refund $500 . Another trip to PPL. camper in same place but moved Saturday ! week later no refunds turned over to bank / outcome got my money but please aware of all staff even VP of company taking ur money , not working on ur side for offer to owners , denying all offers because they know someone is in need . Did not have a good experience. They were supposed to keep the unit clean while it was there. Ha! It had bugs on shower, and dust and grimy. The.big.thing is we brought it home to storage and did not check all. Headed south for our winter vacation. Opened the door and could not get our steps down. Crooked stairs and bent and different screws put on part. Looks as though they tried to move it with stairs down. Of course talked to the manager and no one owns up to problem. They said we can look at it but put of our way. So won't help us . We are out a bit of money to replace them. Not good business and no help. read more

When we arrived it was pulled up, connected and ready for us to view. Our salesperson, Tim, was very helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. The entire process from viewing to test driving to completing the paperwork and financing was all very simple and smooth. I went to PPL to look at a camper for my 85 year old dad. They got my information and sent me on my way with directions of where to see it! No help, nothing. Then when I came back in and wanted to speak to the salesman, he was on the phone and I would have to wait. If he had been with me, he would not have been on the phone. Also, the travel trailer had major hail damage and that was no where in the ads. They also changed prices on it 3 times in the last 3 days, going up!!! read more

Terrible customer service. I listed my 5th wheel for sale here a while ago. My listing agent assured me they would be able to sell and the price we put it at should be absolutely no problem at all. Quite a few months down the road and I finally had enough of dealing with them and unlisted my 5th wheel from here. I never once heard from the listing agent to update me on interest on my unit or how things are going. The ONLY time they contact you is when they want you to take money off the price. Anytime I tried to contact my listing agent or any sales person in this dealership it would take 2-3 days of me calling multiple times a day to actually get a hold of someone or to get a call back. If your unit is there for a while then it will be sent to the back corner of the lot and will not be rotated throughout the lot. One lady told me the units are regularly rotated then the regional manager said that's not true and that the lot is to small, it's over crowded and the don't move units around at all. When I was trying to get a hold of a manager or a listing agent to I list my unit the lady at the front desk told me for a few days in a row that nobody is there to help me with that and finally hung up on me mid sentence. I would either try and sell your unit yourself via FB market place or take it ANYWHERE else before even considering coming here and putting up with the headache from them and paying a commission that in my opinion is entirely to high for how they conduct business. read more

I was warned by all of their bad reviews but I wanted a specific camper trailer so bad and they had it so I decided to use this company to purchase it anyways. I paid the $400 inspection they charged and when it came out clean and was told by Leo that it was barely used and in like new condition I was sold. I made the drive to Texas and on the day of purchase it was not at all what they said it was. It was very much used and dirty but most of all we found it had major structural damage. They got one of their guys out to look at it when we brought up the issue during our final walk through and he confirmed it was the case. The other guy who handles the financials and paper work (can't remember his name) advised us to purchase it anyways, sign off saying it's in perfect condition then buy their insurance and file an insurance claim stating it was our fault it was damaged to have it fixed. I was appalled when I was told that. He wanted us to commit insurance fraud?!!! Needless to say, we walked away and didn't by the trailer. Now I'm out a bunch of money for nothing. This place is really untrustworthy and they'll do anything to sell an rv even if it means screwing their customer over. Please DO NOT use this company, you'll be sorry. read more

We tried to sell our like new RV with this company and found out a couple months in that they were doing practically nothing to move the unit. Additionally, we had several parts go missing from the unit. At best, they have a problem with security, at worst they were using our RV for parts. We quickly moved our RV to a military RV lot and immediately sold our unit. read more

Totally unresponsive to phone calls. Will not keep you informed on any way. I was told the day we put ernest money down that we would close in 2 weeks. I didn't understand the holdup because I came in with financing so all that needed to happen was the pre-purchase inspection and cleaning. Two weeks came and went and I hadn't heard a word. I finally called them several times before I actually spoke to my "sales" guy. He said he'd check with financing to see when they could close on me. I reminded him I already had financing and he said "oh yeah, you're right. I remember now." So we finally closed on my unit two and a half weeks later and some parts had to be ordered for a few issues that came up last second. I was told they would send someone to my trailer the following Monday to address the issues. No one contacted me to arrange for me to meet the tech at the trailer. I had to stop by and speak to them to get a time was set up. I called 30 minutes prior to the pre arranged time and was told "it may not happen today as it's a really busy Monday." Even though I was scheduled to be worked on this busy Monday the previous week. It's now 30 minutes past the arranged time the work was supposed to begin and I still haven't heard from anyone and honestly don't expect to. I hope you can find a more customer oriented company to do business with. I felt like an afterthought the entire process. Do not recommend. **EDIT** The call came. I'm on my way to meet the tech. Suprise surprise. All the parts weren't ordered so they'll have to come back. I don't think so Scooter. ** EDIT** Wrong part was ordered. Tha saga continues. If you're looking for an RV stay away from this place. Also. The ONLY communication I'm getting is with the tech doing the work. Still haven't heard from the Maintenance manager. The tech has more customer service skills in his pinky finger than all the people who work there whose job it is is to deal with customers combined. Avoid this place like the plague. read more

The customer service is absolutely horrendous I never ever in my life had to deal with such rude people then with PPL motorhomes in new Braunfels. I flew from Fort Smith Arkansas to Houston Texas to look at a class A. this unit didn't turn out as I thought so I saw another one in their other location in New Braunfels,Texas which is roughly 3 hours from Houston I talk to a sales guy and we went back-and-forth he promised me pictures which he sent to my husband who is currently in Iraq but I finally talk to him and he said the unit is absolutely tiptop shape there's nothing wrong with it so I decided to do the 3 Hour Drive from Houston to new Braunfels. upon arrival the first thing I noticed was a huge crack in the windshield from left to right I asked him about it and he said don't worry about it the insurance will pay for it OK going into the unit I saw that one of the panels at one of the doors was missing how can you not see that?!? third thing was that the slide didn't open up I thought it was a little weird because every other class a I saw on the lot had both slides open and this one had only one open but oh well well. it turned out that the slide didn't work that's what the sales guy said and I realize that the locking mechanism of one slide wasn't there so obviously somethings was wrong with this unit And ask the sales guy if we could call the owner to negotiate a sales price which I did previously with the other unit which is what they usually do. You submit an offer and they will bring it to the seller since all of their RV are on consignment. he told me he will not call the seller he can sell the unit the way it is it's only on the lot for a couple days it's very new and he will not call them. why do you tell me that this unit is in tiptop shape and make me drive three hours one way by the way? I went inside to talk to the manager which was a lady I forgot her name she tried to defuse the situation and when I was in her office the other sales guy came storming in telling me that he told me not to come until I saw the pictures and I said that was fine but we talked on the phone you said you were in the unit you saw the unit with your own eyes and nothing was wrong he denied it which is fact out a lie at that point I walked away. this is absolutely absolutely the worst customer experience I ever had in my life well they lost $13,000 in commission that's fine with me it's just shady business they do very very shady business the slide apparently work later on which the sales guy told me they will not try to make it work and all of a sudden it worked I never never went back I'm done please do not buy from this location The units are not as advertised. I went in to see an class A RV last Friday and Ronda McCarty helped and took me on a test drive. In a business where salespeople often don't reply to emails or phone calls, Ronda went out of her way to take care of me. It was my first time to test drive an RV and she was very patient and answered all my questions. I suspected that I'd found a bargain and she gave me the option of putting a small deposit down to purchase the RV pending inspection. It was definitely a five-star experience. Buyer beware!!! We bought a 'gently used' camper and were so excited, as new RVers, to start our adventures. The staff knew we lived 2 hours away, were RV experts. We drove off with our camper, a bit nervous, new to pulling a 5th wheel. An hour into our journey home, we heard a loud POP, pulled over in the middle of nowhere, only to find FOUR blowouts with ruined rims, that cut brake wires, did damage under the carriage, and we were stranded until the middle of the night. Only the kindness of strangers, RVers who said we should have never been allowed on the road with those tires, made the experience bearable. When I called the manager Allen and told him what happened, he asked me "Did you ask the staff to air up the tires?". I was speechless!!!! I trusted PPL to sell us a road worthy camper and instead we risked our lives, and the lives of others on the road, and sustained thousands in repair costs. This company does not care enough about their customers to disclose that tires need to have more air, or might need to be replaced before a 2 hour journey. One tire blowing, OK. Four?!!!! They did not sell us a road worthy camper and I am very disappointed, would not only not recommend, but would strongly caution you not to go there. They do not care about people, do not make full disclosures, do not consider anyone's safety. Please go to another reputable dealer who has more integrity. read more

If I could give negative stars I would! We went in with the intent to buy did the online prosses new exactly which one we wanted had a pre approval from our bank. After finding the motorhome on the lot with 0 HELP from anyone! And examining the class A we had ro find a salesman who seemed inconvenienced to help us the tells us there's no point in looking at that one he was gonna sale it to a guy in Kuwait and tried to push us on another unit, we looked at it and Clearly noticed water damage along the driver's side at the entire length of the coach. He claims that was cosmetic and not water damage you could clearly tell it was water damage. We did find another unit we liked gave them all our info to start the deal. MInd you we went in with OUR BANKS PRE APPROVAL! They ran our credit through 7 other banks! Salesman failed to mention to finance we had our own financing we are currently disputing the inquiries with all 3 credit reports. Most of the units smelled of Catherine, And excessive cleaner trying to cover it up. The salesman's act like they get more commissioned by allowing it to sit on the floor charging the owner fees for it siting seeing as how they are a consignment lot then they do selling the units. Not only do I not recommend buying a unit from them I don't recommend visiting their establishment or consigning anything to them! If there was a way to give them negative stars or remove any of the stars they already have I would! We ended up driving to Alverado Tx Going to motor home specialists having a wonderful experience with very helpful salesman and walked away with an $75000 RV! read more

The worst experience in selling our MotorHome. First it didn't sell, PPL told us the unit would be plugged in at all times, it wasn't, batteries dead, so another expense on our end. The detail we were supposed to get was never done, the unit was not kept up inside as they promised. Can't say much good about the service center either! read more

PPL was an amazing experience from start to finish. From the moment we walked through the door we were made to feel welcomed and at ease. The receptionist had the most warm and inviting personality and explain the set up and layout like a pro. Even with a mask we could see feel and hear her smile! The layout and set up of the lot for shopping gave us the chance to take our time and discuss privately without any pressure of a sales person. James took his time to answer all our questions (and we had a lot) and explain everything thoroughly to us during our contract phase. Once our rig was ready Christian made the walkthrough not only educational but also fun. What a amazing personality he has. His great sense of humor made us feel very comfortable in asking any questions! He took his time to walk us through everything no matter how minuscule it may have seemed.He also was willing to share his experience and knowledge on things we might encounter along the way. He made us feel like we had been long time friends and not just a customer. While we were going over the water heater stuff another tech Adam came and shared tips on how to clean and maintain it. Between the two even though the awning isn't part of the checkout and we knew on this used rig we were going to have to replace it they didn't hesitate to walk us through what we would need to do to repair it. Miranda handled our closing. She was just as helpful as James in walking is through the closing process both before we came in and while we were there. I can not say enough about this place and how amazing this experience was. If you looking to buy or sell don't waste your time anywhere else. Whatever you do, do not let them sell your motor home. They sold my motorhome in March of 2017 and as of the date of this review, I have spent countless hours trying to get them to send me my money. Every time I call, I get a dozen steps or excuses as to why they don't send my money. The trailer is sold and they hold the money. I don't know if I'll ever get it and it will likely cost more in legal bills to collect. While they did pay off my bank loan to receive the title, they are not sending me my portion of the equity. Service dept. workers were great. However DO NOT let them install a brake controller. The lady writing the order wound up charging me over $700 for a $120.00 brake controller and seven way plug. Furthermore, they came to me halfway through the job and said I needed to drive to the Nissan store in the next town and buy the wiring harness they had already charged me for. I paid double what this job should have cost. Pretty sure I got hosed. read more

Worst customer service experience of my life. We informed them on Friday we were flying in from NY to purchase a specific RV on their lot, and they acknowledged we were coming. We arrived that Monday afternoon after calling again that morning to advise them the time we'd arrive. The rig wasn't out / ready to be test driven. Then they said they don't allow test drives in the rain. After two hours we were able to take a short test drive when the rain let up. When we told them we wanted to do the checkout inspection and walk through with their tech, they said there were 8 RVs ahead of ours, and it might be a few days. After little communication from them Tuesday, we told them Wednesday morning that we'd take the rig "as is," but they never returned our calls. Very poor communication. No apparent incentive to sell the vehicle. The only time they returned our "last day" call was after we arrived back at the airport Wednesday, telling us we'd be charged $390 for the inspection...and that the process takes five days. Their website says the customer must take delivery within 5 days, NOT that the process takes five days. I bet if I walked into ANY other RV dealership w/ a $60k authorization for funds transfer from my bank I could drive away that afternoon. Trip cost us $2k in flights, $500 in hotels, and a lot of frustration. read more

Use extreme caution when purchasing a camper here. I have a very good credit rating but was told by the finance person on Saturday they needed me to bring them a utility bill or bank statement to establish residency, I was at work and asked if I could do it on Monday and she said, "yes". An hour later she called back and left me a voice mail telling me my credit application had been denied. Monday morning I called and asked what happened, why did she run it when she told me I had until Monday to bring her documentation? She said she wasn't responsible, she's just a paper pusher. But why did she submit it before I was able to get the documentation to her on Monday??? I FEEL LIKE I'M BEING LIED TO. So I asked to talk to the general manager, Mark. He gave me the same run around and the same line about being nothing more than a paper pusher. Neither acknowledged or accepted responsibility for not waiting for documentation or that I felt like I had been lied to or given miss information, so of course there was no apology either.
