PR Running came highly recommended by a friend, and I'm so glad I stopped in! From the moment I walked through the door, the employees were welcoming and attentive. Even though they were all helping other customers, each person made the effort to greet me and let me know they'd be with me shortly, which I really appreciated. I had the chance to work with Rich, and he was fantastic! He pulled up a chair so we could talk about my running goals and then did a gait assessment to better understand my stride and foot type. Based on that, he selected a shoe for me to try, then had me go outside for a quick jog so he could make sure it was the right fit. I really liked how he kept my running goals in mind while also making sure the shoes worked for my feet specifically. I left the store with a perfect pair of running shoes and couldn't be more excited to continue my running journey with the right support under my feet. I have been buying shoes from here for about three years and they have honestly saved my feet! I had Achilles tendinitis and they gave me the proper shoes to help me and it fixed my condition. I also had a foot injury earlier this year and they also found me a different pair of shoes that would help treat my ailment. The staff here is incredibly friendly and patient willing to work with you and whatever type of a budget you're looking for. They won't stop until you're absolutely satisfied. They definitely deserve credit for being incredibly loyal to their customers and hard-working. Worst customer service, I even don't want to give them 1 star. Very unprofessional behaviour by its owner "Rich". He got annoyed with only one-time return and asked me to do business somewhere else. This is ridiculous. @Rich - If you don't like return then why do you have return policy? I visited store multiple times to find a best fit for myself as recommended by my Podiatrist but they didn't have Wide shoes in stock. How can I choose a shoes that best fit without trying? The staff at PR running were incredibly helpful and patient. I had to go in due to a plantar fasciitis diagnosis and had to bring my 3 young children. The staff was outstanding. They helped me find sneakers that are already helping my heel. They also were so kind in dealing with my three extra energetic children. We left a toy behind (I wasn't aware at the time) and I got a phone call, after they had closed, to let me know that they had the toy and set it aside for us. My teen daughter had been complaining about foot pain for awhile & her pediatrician referred us to PR Running. The doctor said that she, her family and many patients had found help at PR so we headed to the store. There is a bit of a "Cheers" vibe, all the staff are so friendly and welcoming, even my 14 yo felt comfortable. The only female staff member in the store, a young woman, offered to help us. She listened intently to my daughter's concerns, asked useful questions, asked to observe my daughter walking, & took a visual inventory of what shoes my daughter was wearing. The staff member brought out shoes that resembled what my daughter was wearing (smart move!) & explained to my teen what issues she had and how the shoes would help. My kid put the shoes on, walked around and had a big grin on her face. Her feet were not hurting! (& I later learned that the shoes were cool, apparently she had feared the appropriate shoes would look orthopedic). During the trying on, the other staff members were cordial, joking with us and creating a comfortable experience. They assessed the fit and her walk while wearing the new shoes, again listening to her experiences. My daughter needed a wide in the shoe that fit her best and they ordered it for her, it was in in less than a week. Also note, they sell more types than just running shoes as well as active clothing. I highly recommend this store. They are not a discount shop but we only paid a bit more for quality, well fitted shoes than we did at a local brand outlet-just picking out of the rows of boxes. It can be so difficult to know what shoes are best for your activities, foot type & movement needs not to mention if they fit well-let a professional do the work! COVID-Employees and customers are required to wear masks. Distancing is marked on the floor. They limit the number of customers allowed into the store. Hand sanitizer is provided around the store. Even though I bought that brand before, Cam took his time and made sure the fit was right. It was great the store carried the Hoka One One Clifton 3 almost a week prior to the official release! The price was the same than online. The staff kindly lent me try on sport socks to check the fit. The point of improvement would be for the store to carry half size models in the Hoka One One range. This industry leading brand for maximalist sneakers deserves it! Maximum cushioning and lightweight to protect any athletes! The sales associate said they were not carrying half sizes in this brand to optimize their inventory. Thus, I couldn't buy the Hoka One One Clifton 2 or 3. They weren't carrying my size. It resulted in a loss sale for P R running. High-impact Moving Comfort bras were also available. It is convenient some models have a clasp in the back for easy on and off. Clearance shoes were sold just outside the store. It was easy and free to park on the shopping center parking lot. read more

While getting more serious about my running and training for a half-marathon, I started experiencing pain near my right heel. I ignored it and continued running, wearing a pair of ASICS that had been on sale and were a half size smaller than my normal shoe size. After getting sick of the foot pain, I decided to give PR Running a shot. I had heard that they had hands on, consultative approach to selling running shoes, and I was very ignorant about my running style - I just ran. I stopped in earlier this week and was extremely impressed by the level of customer service here. They seemed fairly busy, but the woman was able to multitask between customers excellently. She had me try on shoes, informed me that I was supposed to size up from my normal shoe size (Oops) and watched me run up and down the block a few times. I walked away with the perfect pair of sneakers that offer me the support I need. It feels wonderful to run without ignoring pain. Such a great investment! By far my favorite running store. Super knowledgeable staff who spend the time to help shoppers get exactly what they need. Anytime I've had challenges someone was always willing to work with me, whether it was shoe fit, equipment, or on the most recent visit, wicked plantar fasciitis. The only reason I don't give them 5 stars is because I'm the apparently rare plus-sized runner for whom no one carries running clothes. My husband and I went into Runnings from CT. My foot doc recommended I buy a pair of running shoes and get them properly fit for my issues. These people were kind, attentive, thoughtful and patient. The best people anywhere! They were funny, too, especially Keith. Ann is so kind and patient. I must have tried on every pair of running/walking shoes in the store. The price was right, as well. My husband wasn't going to buy but he ended up getting a pair too, and loves them. I also purchased a pair of Spenco sandals that feel so comfortable and look good as well. Highly recommend! Not just for runners. I took my aunt here because the doctor said she needed to start wearing lace-up shoes. I was worried that they wouldn't be particularly interested, but Wow, was I wrong!! The salesperson spent about half an hour with her, listening to her describe how each shoe felt, taking her outside to walk up and down the "street" to see how she liked them. My aunt felt heard and respected and she came away with a great pair of shoes! She is so happy with the whole experience and so am I. Can't say enough good things about this store. read more

I run 20-30 miles a week, but have always run in crappy $30 shoes. I have also been injured constantly. After getting sick of the big box stores, and baffled by all the options online, I reluctantly went to PR Running. I am SO happy I did! The one on one attention was helpful without beingpushy, they gave me a bunch of shoes to choose from, and the store owner did the fitting for me, which was very cool. Being a masochist, I Googled what the price of the shoes were when I got home. I paid $119.00, and on Amazon they were... $119.00. I nearly fell out of my chair! That awesomecustomer service? About 8 months ago I purchased a pair or running shoes from here and had a pretty good experience. It was time for a new pair, so I returned in hopes to receive the same experience. I was disappointed. I have been experiencing discomfort in my feet lately so I went in during the day to really get 1:1 attention. When I arrived, I was the only one but quickly it turned into a full store and I lost the attention of the associate to another shopper. Now, obviously this could happen but at the same time it's strange when the associate almost completely re-directs their attention to another customer, leaving you hanging and frustrated unsure of what else to do. And when you ask "what other options are available?" the response is that there aren't any because your feet are too wide? Really? The best part is that the other customer just moments prior was complaining to me about her wide feet and bunions. So why does she get more options? Strange. I'm sorry but I became irritated and uncomfortable and left. I will be going back to Marathon Sports for my shoes. read more

For years I have struggled to find a pair of running shoes that fit comfortably, ensuring a workout where I could focus on the exercise rather than looking forward to the moment when I could take my shoes off. I normally wear a 9.5 shoe and my feet are narrow at the heel and medium at the ball of my foot, with an extremely high arch. I always struggled with finding shoes that fit the bill, were long enough for my feet but snug enough that the rest of my foot didn't swim in. A friend recommended these folks for a gait analysis and a proper fit. I dropped in on a busy Sunday afternoon and was immediately greeted and attended to in a friendly and comfortable manner. I was asked to put on a pair of "diagnostic" shoes and to run drown a sidewalk outside of the store while being observed by the guy helping me. He was so polite and personable that I didn't even feel silly running around a strip mall. He assessed that I was a "pronater" and found several different shoes that addressed my gait to help correct for the fact that my arch collapses and that I run on the inside of my feet. Who knew! Not only that, he got me into a size 10.5 (I needed to go up a full size from my normal 9.5) to allow for a comfortable fit for my loooong feet. The shoe that I purchased was an Asics that fit fantastically and changed my life. I could not be happier with the service and the product assortment.
