I used to take our bikes down the road to a local bike shop but I felt like they were constantly needing repair and it was both expensive and time consuming to get them over there. But then I found Stay True Cyclery! I found them here on Yelp and decided to give them a call. Ray, the owner, was very easy to coordinate with and came with supplies to our home to fix the bikes. He was friendly and efficient and got our bikes up and running. One of the bikes had a deep valve and he had to order the tubes but he came the next week and installed them. It was an awesome experience! Before Ray, I didn't know I could have someone come to our house and get us all taken care of but now that I know, he will be our go to for life! Brian figured out the problems and what parts were needed, and tried 3 different sets of training wheels before finding a set that fit properly. The look on my grandson's face as he rode his bike the first time was priceless, and I wished Brian had been there to see the fruits of his labor. As luck would have it my bike broke two days later. I took it right in to Brian, who was able to get me back on the road in no time. Both times I was in the shop it was packed with customers. (It reminded me of some little hole-in-the-wall diner that is always crowded.) Brian and the staff there made time for each customer, who ranged from young kids to senior citizens. The store is packed with bikes and accessories, but for me the repair section had my full attention. Repair costs were very fair and reasonable. This store is the epitome of small business.
