I was impressed with the prompt response of them arriving (within the hour of contacting them!) and the Project manager Raymond Madrigal was very professional with his inspection and quote and was able to schedule the work the very next day! Yay! It's finally over. after assuring me they knew how to navigate the insurance companies, PRC and State Farm could not reach an agreement, so that was false. PRC was nice enough to split the remaining balance in half, so I only had to pay $3,000 out of pocket. What a deal?! Im giving them an extra star only because they didn't try to get all of it. Do yourself a favor: find someone who is not so vocal about being anti-insurance. It sounds good and trustworthy because of all the stories you hear, but they might be trying to lower your guard to do the exact thing you're worried about. READ THIS BEFORE YOU HIRE THIS COMPANY: Just wanted to advise all that if you're looking for a restoration service to accommodate you during an emergency situation, DO NOT USE this service. First off, they charge your insurance company an arm and a leg and although you will not pay directly, your total cost to the insurance company will increase significantly and I guarantee you the insurance company will raise your rates after everything settles. Second, when furniture was returned to our home after being stored for 3 months, our leather kitchen chairs were damaged and decorative flowers were broken. The flowers were not a problem with them replacing, but when it came down to repairing or replacing the chair(s), this became a major issue. PRC's Rafael Garcia (PM) led their effort by taking our chair away to try to repair with a leather material that would match. After 2 weeks Rafael called and contacted us and arranged to meet at our home, the color he presented to us did not even come close in color or texture. He then offered to reupholster all four chairs, but the color was not right. So, Rafael said he would look again to see if he could find a better match. Another month past, not hearing a peep from Rafael. I called and left messages, texts, and my wife even called. Not one call back. Finally, after 3 more weeks, we called into the PRC office to complain. Word must have got to Rafael because we then received a call to status us. He said, he found the best color possible, so we met at our home to see if it matched the other chairs. The color or texture again was not the right shade of brown, so again we said to Rafael that it is not the right color. Rafael then offered us $130 to reupholster the chair and I asked him why would I do that and not the other 3 chairs? Especially, if it was not the correct color. He said, his company will pay for two of them, but not all four. My wife and I said "no" we cannot accept your offer. Then Rafael got an attitude and pulled out the contract trying to inform us that PRC is not responsible for anything even if they damage or lose any of your personal belongings. In other words, he was telling me they have no liability or skin in the game. PRC basically informed us they are not responsible for anything, so we got a take it or leave it type attitude. Now, the chair will be coming back to us after 2 months of time and nothing will be done. I cannot tell you how upset we are about this. In addition to the damaged leather chair(s), I purchased a cross from Rome, Italy about 10 years ago, which at the time before the Euro kicked in, I paid $650.00 (today the cross would cost $2,000), somehow it got lost in the move back and Rafael and PRC took no responsibility for it. I even offered for them to meet me halfway and they would not. Folks, this company is unbelievably cheap and not concerned about your personal items if they were to get lost or damaged (in other words they take no responsibility, which is extremely dangerous), so please look elsewhere for a reputable company that will protect you in the event something happens to your personal items or you will be writing a YELP review just like us to tell your horrible story. I would much rather write a great review because this is not my style. But in this instance, this is much deserved! We will now need to purchase (4) new chairs and fly to Italy to purchase a new cross. Total lost dollars using PRC $3,500.00, not including the plane fare to Italy. DO NOT use this company. They make so many promises and tell you they know how to work with your insurance so that the claim will go through. This is a complete lie. They not only did not help, they actually hinder the claim. My insurance is telling me that claims cannot be opened indefinitely with no movement. It's nearing 5 weeks and my insurance has not received a single photo, a mitigation report, a dry log and all the other paperwork needed. They have not received a single thing from PRC and will not even respond to their repeated emails. I was told they could not give me a complete estimate because the company is split into two parts, the water/mold/dry team and the repair/contractors. We signed up and they dried the water damage, but 2 weeks after they were finished, still no word from the contractor so I had to go elsewhere. The non PRC contractor who also does water mitigation was shocked when he saw the containment wall they had built, he said they used the wrong painters tape and even used duct tape on the wall! He showed me areas where they had bent the metal to remove the drywall, because it was cut incorrectly. He was shocked to learn they did not come out each day to check the machines. When I asked my insurance person if machines should be checked daily, she said yes. When I contacted PRC to let them know I would not be paying for the days of the broken machine and that I want to deduct the cost of the damage from the machine... silence. When I let them know they damaged my wall with their duct tape and poor installation of containment wall... silence. They finally wrote back, lying and blaming me. Thanks to the new contractor, my kitchen and hallways look good as new, they did such a good job that I actually gave them extra work to make some renovations. They were able to do all this and submit all the necessary paperwork to my insurance, while PRC has still not sent a single report to myself or my insurance. read more

So... if you have to call a service like this, you're probably already having a terrible day. I called, was super impressed by how quickly they showed up, but here's what happened after... As you'll probably find out, this type of service is VERY expensive. That's because they normally bank on you calling your insurance company to foot the bill, however if you're like me and don't feel like going through that added nightmare/increase on annual premium, be prepared to pay a lot. Oh, and here's what you get from it: Some dudes rip out drywall, roll in a big humidifier, turn it on and then leave for a few days. TOTALLY worth a few thousand, right?! After a few hours of them leaving, I noticed the humidifier turned off and had an error message on it. When the team returned, they didn't seem too concerned... But they did have the decency to tell me that they mistakenly scratched my floors with the (now broken) humidifier, and that they had alerted their manger who would assist in rectifying the situation. I followed up about this multiple times, texted, called but it's now several weeks later, and no one has reached out to fix my (still damaged) floor!!! Also, this being my first time dealing with a house flood, after they ripped apart my walls, I asked if they had a team or could recommend someone who could repair it - I wasn't exactly hoping to have exposed insulation and 2x4's for very long. I was relieved to hear that they did have this, and was told they'd get in touch ASAP. Given the speed at which they started, the hefty fees, etc, I was expecting a team to show up within a day of the "restoration" being completed. Instead, it was about 10 days later that they reached out - after I'd already had a contractor drywall and paint the walls - for less than half of what PRC charged to perform their "service". I had always assumed water damage cleanup/restoration was more specialized and labor intensive than this. I recommend avoiding this company. I live in a stacked condominium and the unit above me flooded my guest bedroom/bath room. After they removed all the wet drywall and dried the place for a week. They put up new dry wall to seal up the damaged rooms. THEY FORGOT ONE THING...THEY DIDNT FIX/REPLACE THE ELECTRICAL WIRING BEHIND THE WALLS. So I had to pay extra money for them to come back and have them break open the newly installed drywall to them install electrical wiring. Please note that their electrician is also related somehow to this company. So the whole thing seemed a bit fishy. Anyways, Carlos the main point of contact assured me in the beginning that this was all going to be taken care of by PRC. But when their out of order, extra costly renovation mistake was made he was nowhere to be found. When I then complained and asked for them to cover the extra cost (which they didn't) they intimidated me with attorney letters and placed a mechanics lien on my property. Please avoid them. I was referred to Alejandro "Alex" Nicola, Project Manager of PRC Restoration by the plumber that was determining an active water leak into my home. Initially, Alex seemed to be very professional. However, he quickly turned to be unreliable and not trustworthy. He fails to return messages; you have to track him down. When you do get in contact, he gives excuses for not following-up. He asked me to send him pictures of the current state of my damages which I did. After 2 business days, he still has yet to contact me or provide the mere estimate he said he would give me. I have been ghosted. I guess the job is not worth his while. It shouldn't be this difficult to get an estimate. Because of this experience, I looked up this company. Our bathroom needed work done due to water damage. Javier our plumber recommended PCR Restoration to do the water restoration and then the repairs. Eduardo from PCR came out to start the process. Once the first step was completed (they did a great job with good communication and relational skill) the next team came in which was headed by Carlos. That's where communication fell off a little bit but very quickly cleared up. Carlos was very nice, respectful and willing to make us feel more comfortable with the rest of the process. He always responded right away to all my calls.( there was a lot of back and forth calls Lol) During the process I spoke with several of the ladies (Alyessa and Dorothy) who were very nice and understanding according to their knowledge of the process. Juan (who was very knowledgeable, courteous, funny, and reassuring) and his coworker came out and completed the job. They did a fantastic job. The bathroom looks amazing. Customer called stating he had a leak under his home at 9pm. Once I arrived to the property I quickly put on my crawl suit, removed the screen and then I saw loads of water and mud under the home. I recently had a claim that was handled so well by the PRC team and left a much deserved 5 star review. Over the course of a few weeks I came to find out that the claim involved 2 parts and that the water mitigation portion had not been settled between my insurance company and PRC. I called and spoke with Greicy Zuniga who was very apologetic and said she would handle this right away. They came out immediately and got to work right away on the flood caused by our contractors remodeling error.
