Sawyer and his staff are HARD WORKERS, PRECISE, CONTINUOUS, and they GET IT DONE FAST! Sawyer did a pre-inspection and found floor joists that had BEEN CUT!, duct work on the ground! black mold, was willing to go into an area 2 other companies would NOT do and neither one of them mentioned the floor joists or duct work. SOOO we went with Sawyer. He delivered ALL HE SAID HE WOULD! His crew is AWESOME. It was A LOT of money but the new "man cave" is gorgeous with all new duct work, rewiring, 2 water heaters, 2 dehumidifiers, sump pump with French drain system, and LIGHTING! What a MESS THEY CLEANED UP! My husband says the in-house temperature is stable and the floors are warmer - we believe the air quality is better - we believe it is easier to maintain a steady temperature. To Whom It May Concern, I am extremely disappointed with how this situation has been handled. I requested an estimate for a shower pan leak in my guest bathroom, and your office indicated I would receive the bid within 3-5 business days. I waited patiently and followed up a week later, only to be told by your technician that he believed the leak had already been fixed based on something my tenant supposedly said. After speaking directly with my tenant, she confirmed she never said the leak was repaired - because it wasn't. As a result, we are now more than a week behind and essentially starting over. Even if there had been confusion onsite, it is unacceptable that no one confirmed the situation with me as the property owner before changing the scope of work. This reflects a serious breakdown in communication and process. At this point, I will be moving forward with another vendor. Great on bio hazard water under crawl space. Not great when employee ruined my beautiful oak flooring on her way out which has left us with a mess, stress anxiety not getting back to us until threatened almost and finally after a couple months of having to call corporate to send someone out they came. we couldn't communicate with him due to language barrier. He tried to repair and couldn't . He said a couple words and hand gestures that would have to have entry way, hallway and dining room floors completely redone but they said only THEY can do it. I was wary but After being convinced from manager how amazing their floor contractors are, I agreed. WE Moved all furniture, booked hotels (I paid for) and then 3 nights and 4 days later came home to a nightmare. No color matching- ripples and divots in floor from not knowing how to sand, no color matching , grainy poly (didn't sand or dust before applying poly) . Only 1 coat with dust in it, (should be 3 coats poured smoothed dried and dusted in between) so it's grainy sloppy and left their cleanup on front porch. So here I go again. My once beautiful floors make me sick looking at them and I'm back on the phone- they now have to repair that! I have blankets all over floor. I will also send pictures if I am required to They are restoration and haz mat company, NOT artesians and their employees did not know what they were doing and would keep telling us NO WORRIES ( I think that's what he said) I recommend them for pumping out crawlspaces- not repairing the damage they've done to your home so beware - take pictures!!!! read more

Working with PRC made an already stressful situations worse. Cristal is terribly unprofessional. She was the representative on my case. We discussed what items were salvageable after losing 70% my belongings in a raw sewage flood. The team instead brought many soiled items back into my place. When i called to complain, Cristal essentially said oh well and that they would not be coming to remove the items. Absolutely no compassion or professionalism. Secondly, it was part of their service to put any salvageable items back in their exact place. They did not do that. They just left everything in boxes. Think twice about hiring this company. All I can say is DO NOT use this company for anything! They came to do a water cleanup UNDER the house and during that job ended up damaging sections of our wood floors in the process. THEN after two months of constantly calling back and forth for them to fix the section of the floor they damaged the manager kept telling us not to worry they will fix it said he has "wonderful flooring" person that works at their company. long story long after uprooting the whole family, moving all furniture ourselves and paying for hotels for 3 days I came home to see that the worker had now ruined 90% of our home's wood floors! Dents all over from not knowing how to use their equipment, does not match color AT ALL and has bubbles,feels like sand and big sections of now RAW flooring just left as if their worker said "fuck it I'm out of here" and left all their piles of trash tarps and their own equipment on our porch for Christ sake. I can go on... Terrible service. I had my home dehumidified back in 2014 and did not experience the difficulties I had to go through in 2023. 1) I had to pay and replace all the horizontal pipes to copper before restoration would begin. 2) An estimate for the restoration work was not provided and I was threatened with a lien, when I was initially informed that insurance would take care of everything. 3) The tiles & wood were removed, but the workers didn't place padding over the floor while repair work was being negotiated. There were nails everywhere & I tripped on one of the nails, but thank goodness I didn't fall. 4) it was very poor coordination with insurance, leaving homeowners in the middle. read more

We received incredible service from PRC after a pipe burst occurred in our home while we were out of town. We were most impressed by Juan Carlos Valadez and how he handled the job. Having Juan Carlos on our side gave us more peace of mind throughout a very stressful time, and I would HIGHLY recommend PRC to anyone simply because of the great job from Juan Carlos. Juan Carlos was the project manager for the mitigation portion of the job. He promptly arrived the same day we called him (Saturday) to inspect damages. Juan Carlos performed a very thorough damage assessment, and then provided a cost estimate for mitigation within only a couple days. The cost of the job was very fair. The duration for mitigation in our damaged areas (kitchen and bathroom) only took a few days, and we were still able to use both areas as needed. PRC did a thorough inspection after the mitigation was complete to ensure that everything was completely dry. The damage to our home caused us a lot of anxiety, but it helped tremendously to have Juan Carlos available to ensure that our home would be properly restored. Juan Carlos answered every last question and concern we had, and gave us helpful advice throughout the duration of the project, even when we called outside of regular hours. I was going to hire PRC to restore the damage to the bathroom after water damage from a clogged toilet but their quote was so outrageously high ($36,000) that I had to fight the insurance company for more money. I did end up getting a bit more from the insurance company but nowhere near the amount they quoted. I ended up hiring someone else who was able to do a great job for far less. PRC's people caused further damage to one of the bathrooms and they left one of the bedrooms that had no damage with scratches to the floor. A marble shelf and backsplash were broken as well and when I asked Jaime about the damage he said the insurance company would take care of it. I was pretty much abandoned by them while I fought to get compensation. Now their supervisor George refuses to speak to me so they had Emily in their accounting office contact me telling me they take no responsibility. PRC company started work, constantly advising me that this will be covered by my insurance. Once I told them I had Farmers, I was told this would be smooth sailing from here and the work began. Once work was complete and bill submitted to insurance, insurance didn't cover the bill that was submitted, stating it was extreme for the little work that was done, and now we are held responsible, for the "smooth sailing" that did not happen. Horrible way to do business. If using this company, don't let them start the work until your insurance is aware. I learned that insurance companies, have their own litigators, that work in their budget, so as not to make a bad situation even worse (financially) in our case. read more

Don't do your renovations with them. I was too generous with my first review by giving them 3 starts but they just reappeared in my life and I'm so done with them. I finally finished all my renovations around August/September and made sure I paid everything to never have to deal with them. Now I'm getting another invoice for storage when it was their fault that I had my stuff in storage longer than expected. If their workers would have started on time, I wouldn't have had everything in storage. And to top it off, when I got everything back my table had been damaged. They offered to fix it but I want nothing more with them. When I called to inquire about the invoice they told me I called the wrong department when I called the number on the invoice. They have a habit of blaming the customer for their unprofessional work ethics and disorganization. And they convinced me to do an asbestos testing. Which I agreed to. It turns out that isn't covered by the insurance so now I'm stuck with an almost $1,000 unexpected bill months after I finished renovations. With all the rain that came our way in the last few months, my husband and I found a few leaks in the ceiling and walls of our closet. I saw Eduardo's truck when I was out walking my dog, PRC RESTORATION, was written on his truck. Eduardo said he would be by our house that evening to check the damage out. They started off so well by coming out after a pipe burst and demolishing my home. After the demo they stated they could put a bid together to fix the damage. However PRC tried to overstate the time and materials needed and submitting a bid $10k over competing bids. When they were caught/questioned by the insurance company they stopped communicating to me and the insurance company. (SHADY) However their accounting team continues to communicate/harass/threaten me because insurance company sent them direct payment and added my mortgage company per California law. So now they want me to help them to which I have explained simply Why should I help you when you stopped helping me and stopped communicating. I've asked for someone from their management team to contact me to no avail. They've now stated they are going to place a lien against my property when they actually have a check in their hands. Sad and pathetic this Company resorts to such scare tactics which I'm sure works on elderly or less educated who they prey on. Hopefully I won't be in this market again but if I do I found Paul Davis Restoration a reputable company who will be finishing the project. Sorry PRC.. this is on you and I'm just writing the facts. I was sad about having to change our flooring because I loved what we had. But the swatches provided were high quality materials. We had a great experience working with PRC. In an older house, we'd had a leak from an upstairs bathroom dripping through the ceiling of a downstairs room. The folks at PRC dealt knowledgably and quickly with the complications - older house meant needing to test for asbestos and lead, and there was mold because the leak had been going at a low level for a while before it got bad enough to notice. They sealed up the effected room, cut out the wet half of the ceiling, dried it out with blowers and de-humidifiers, and after the plumbers repaired the piping, they replaced the ceiling and seamlessly blended it back in so you couldn't see that anything had happened. They also worked well with our insurance company and responded promptly to my communications. Through the whole process, working with the repairs department, Carlos, Dorothy, and Nancy, I felt like I was in great hands. read more

If you want a company who sends people who don't know how to do the install and rebuild work. This is the company for you. After 6 months and more than 10,000 dlls. We got a bathroom that leaks and not properly installed or sealed. Big gaps and holes left for water to go into our walls. One week later and I have open lips on the edges of the inside of the stand up shower. The walls are peeling off at the seams and lifting up on the corners. Right side of Corner of shower spits water at the toilet. That's how badly sealed it is. Ricardo who did the install on his first day showed me he had no idea. He asked me to call a plumber and have my sewer moved for the stand up shower. He stated no standard shower would Fit unless the sewer was moved. 2 min later he declared he was going to home depot to see if he could find something like a fitting to make it work. read more
