This review solely for the lady dentist (either Latina or Indian). I came for teeth cleaning. After an unprofessional tech was trying to get an x-ray of my teeth and kept doing it 3x for each directions instead of 1. She was too short to reach here and there and I suggested her to asked her co-worker standing close by to help but she was too afraid to ask. Then a female dentist stood right next to where I was lying and I thought that was another tech but then turn out to be the dentist. She was very harsh while cleaning my teeth and I told her that she was hurting my teeth & gum. She was so cold n told me to get a deep clean if I wanted to. She continued to use a tool that basically shaved / dent/ cut part of my teeth because she just wanted to get it done fast and move to the next client. I would not recommend you to see her because she is so unprofessional. read more

I've been coming to precious smile dental for 15 years. I remember telling my grandmother we should try them out when I was a teenager. We were one of the first families to walk in when they opened. Ive been coming here for years now, and I got to say I've never been disappointed. Everyone is really friendly and welcoming once you walk in and they make you feel like you're VIP. Lol. But but honestly they're really flexible with scheduling an appointment and the good thing about it is that they would always remind you about your appointment the day before or the day of which is great for people like me that tends to forget stuff easy. Oh and also the wait is pretty quick to right away, I would get in my seat quick, which is convenient for people that are really busy! I have found an amazing dentist who have told me that since my broken tooth doesn't hurt, they are willing to help me without filling the broken tooth or giving it a crown. They have been wonderful, and didn't just try to gauge me for money like the dentist here. He said if I didn't get the crown he wouldn't help me but I still had other cavities to be filled. 9 months later and still no pain...hmmm, money hungry? read more

One star for the rude and rough dentist, a certain Dr Wang, who did my filling today and five stars for the dental assistant (Yvette) who assisted him at Precious Dental Clinic today. I have been a patient of Dr. Viray , who owns multiple dental clinics, Precious Smile among one of them, for more than 20 years and I have never experienced such rough treatment from a dentist. I used to see Dr Viray himself many years ago but since he expanded his business, I only get to see other dentists now which is fine by me. I like the service here, the staff is very respectful and courteous, so I stayed with Dr Viray's dental Practice. This morning, this arrogant dentist didn't even introduce himself to me. I had to ask his freaking name. He seems so hurried and very robotic while doing my dental work. I get it, it's a Saturday and you probably don't want to be at work. He was very rough when he's turning my head during the procedure, not even caring to explain what he's about to do including when he numbed up my gums at the beginning. At one point,he even yanked me backward to the chair, yelling at me to get back, when I tried to sit up a little bit. I had to tell him I was choking because the irrigating water hit the back of my throat and I cannot spit it out. I had a fucking bite block shoved up inside my mouth, you know. Dr. Wang, you think you're hotshot. You're not. I've worked with world renowned surgeons at Stanford and other big name hospitals around the area and you sure could use a little bit of lesson on bedside manners from them. Dr. Viray, if you're reading this, I apologize. I just had to get this off my chest. I was so furious after the procedure. You're staff is commendable. They're very professional and respectful. I will tell your staff that I will not be seeing this person again. So much for the experience today. read more

Was going to another location but they moved me here as it was a bit closer to me. They are very convenient and able to work with my schedule and they are nice enough to send text reminders for appointments. So far I've a had a cleaning which went fine. Only issue can be parking but there's a shopping center next to it. read more

This is the worst dental office that I have ever been to! Do NOT go here! All of the 5 star reviews are people who were asked to leave a review by the office staff. Yes, the office staff is friendly and if all you're looking for in a dentist is to have someone be nice to you, then go right on ahead and waste your time in this awful dentist office. First of all, you need to block out your entire day for a check up, services will not be completed in an hour like a regular dentist office. They will have you sit and wait while they work on other patients. The other review that says they overbook and have you waiting around is absolutely correct. I did not have all day to spend at the dentist the day that I went here, and after 2 hours I walked out because I was fed up! In that 2 hours the only thing they did was look at my teeth and take X-rays. It's 2015 and they don't even use digital X-rays! The WORST part of all of this, is that I told them I didn't have time to sit around and would need to reschedule another time to come back for a "deep cleaning" and to fill some cavities... again none of this was done, but they went ahead and CHARGED MY INSURANCE for SERVICES THAT WERE NEVER DONE! So now I have found a dentist office that I actually like and would like to have my cavities filled, but my insurance won't cover these services as it was already charged by this office who didn't do any of it!!! It is my first time to deal with dental work since I was under my parents before. Guess what? Precious Smile did a great job and everyone are so nice there. I met with Miami at front and she was very nice and welcoming. She is able to explain the detail to me and check on me when I need help. I had Dr.Sumeet and her assistant for the dental work. She was very quick at figuring out what was going on right after she saw the X-ray. and able to help me and explain what I need to do. I had root canal done and the dentist was so gentle. Even right after the procedure, everyone kept telling me I didn't look like someone who had a dental procedure done. Don't go! I went to there at the end of the year for a regular teeth cleaning and I received a deep cleaning bill from insurance company. They are cheaters! I was pregnant and how come to do a deep cleaning? Although I didn't pay for anything, but they should not cheat the insurance company. So I can't trust them. read more

Fantastic and friendly staff! Filled out the paperwork and they dealt with the insurance for me. This was my first visit to the dentist in five years, I was ready for bad news and some torture. Bad news: needed at least 10 fillings and desperate for a deep cleaning (my gums bleed every time I brushed). Did the right side day of my first visit. Dr. P was PERFECT with the numbing needle, I didn't feel a pinch of discomfort! Did the fillings and the cleaning. Then a day later, I returned for a deep cleaning on the left. Again, pain free! If I could give a minus, I would. I have had the worst crown put in, I can feel a gap between the crown and my actual tooth. Sadly I'm stuck with it for 5 years until my insurance will cover another. I don't appreciate a company charging my insurance for a procedure I never received. Who would max out somebody's insurance in the month of January? That would be precious smile. According to the BBB they are known to charge "good" insurance plans false procedures which was primarily deep cleaning treatments. ISN'T THIS INSURANCE FRAUD? On top of that after I have told them OVER & OVER again do not call me, I refuse to go back.., they continue to call. I can rest easy knowing God doesn't like ugly, you reap what you sow. read more

I FINALLY had my two bottom wisdom teeth pulled out last week after ummm... a few years of refusing to do so. I remember my sister and my husband getting theirs done and I dreaded the aftermath of pain and discomfort for the following days. I went this office on recommendation from my regular dentist and I just have to say that they are GREAT!! The staff is really helpful and friendly and make sure that you understand what they're doing and what's going on. I went in for my procedure at 10AM and woke up an hour later dazed with my mouth full of gauze. I went home, ate and took my medicine as advised and took about a 4 hour nap. I woke up with a little numbness that wore off in another couple hours. By dinner time, I was feeling perfectly fine. No agonizing pain, no swollen chipmunk cheeks... just a little tenderness when I opened my mouth. I honestly think I've had more painful treatments at the spa!! Unless you have at least 4 hours to waste i would not recommend this dental office. they have an all new staff. when i first started going there 5 years ago, I loved it. although the wait was too long, the staff was very friendly and attentive. i am a family of 6 and they always remembered all of our names. the new staff is not so pleasant. they have 1 day for braces and they schedule all of their patients wearing braces on that day (no other days within the month) we had to go to the dentist about 12 times a year which is insane for healthy teeth. there is always 1 dentist when we arrive and i would like to spend less time at the dentist. services are not that great either. they call you a dozen times to remind you of an appt & if they have more than 1 number listed for you they will call all of them. its kind of a form of harassment. i eventually had to stop going there & will never go back. read more

I come all the way from the Valley to go to this dentist so I only have so much time available to schedule an appointment. So far, I've been given perfect times to come. The welcoming atmosphere really is there. What's best about this dentist is that the doctors don't have heavy hands while doing their procedures, at least from what I have experienced. I sign in, wait just a few minutes, they do my cleaning of teeth, and then leave. Visits should always be this simple and organized. Please don't think this is a fake review. I've been going to this dentist for about five years, if I can recall correctly. I don't know what that other reviewer was talking about with her insurance and what not. They took our insurance with no copayment when we were desperate, my wife was in so much pain we had a very expensive appt scheduled with Star Dental in Santa Clara(crooks!!). we decided to look for another and my wife decided we should stop at her childhood dentist.
