We had a very angry/nosy neighbor situation who felt permits with the City of Petaluma simply weren't enough and we also needed to go through the permitting office of Mr. Neighbor -- I'm not joking. He was awful, but the guys carried on, completely undisturbed and also gave us assurance that we did everything right. They took incredible care with ensuring the sidewalk concrete was done correctly and cleanly -- matching with the rest of the sidewalk. Just really went the extra mile. We have used them twice now and both times couldn't have been more impressed with their quick, thorough and professional work. The first time was on the day of our son's birthday party when our garbage disposal broke. It was a last minute, weekend call and he came over very quickly. He sent us tips on how to try and fix it while he finished up another appointment. And then when he got here, he fixed it right away and charged an incredibly fair rate. Today we had a problem with a back up in our downstairs bathroom. We have an old house and even older pipes. Again, he made time to come over immediately and help us stop the damage and then was able to come back a couple hours later to dive in further. He used two of his machines to try help us. Because our pipes run unusually long on our property, he was able to call in a friend with an even more powerful machine to try and reach the end and clear everything. That friend was here within 40 mins. In the end we will need to get an even longer reaching machine. This would normally be very frustrating. But I couldn't help but be grateful for all that Tom has done. He was here for over 5 hours today working on this for us. He was out in the dark with a headlamp while working with his last machine. He gave us upfront and fair quotes for everything. When it didn't work, he gave us a list of recommended vendors to reach out to and even a reasonable price range to look for. And then he barley wanted to accept payment for his work, because it wasn't completely resolved. Again, he did and emergency service call and them came back and tried multiple options for us and was here for 5+ hours. Tom is honest, hardworking, competente and went above and beyond in every way to help us. We are thrilled to call him our plumber and could not recommend this company enough!

My experience with Bellows has been an interesting one. TLDR; highly recommended and check out the Quilt system! - - - I had originally scheduled an estimator to come out an give a price on replacing a whole house gas furnace with a heat pump system but was also considering a multi-head mini-split system. The technician who came out was knowledgable and introduced me to the Quilt system. He was not pushy at all, simply said that it was a new system that showed a lot of promise. After reading a bit more about it, I was sold! The promise of efficiency was intriguing and the usability and aesthetics sealed the deal. It took about a month to really get things going, but once they started, the installation team was great! Very professional, efficient and tidy. On the third day of installation, I had inquired about the condenser unit location. It was placed in a prominent and highly visible location at the front of the house and I thought there was a good alternate location - moving it back about 5' and rotating it 90 degrees. I definitely missed the window of time when this should have been asked, and to move it would require some additional work. The initial response was not empathetic or customer satisfaction- minded, the quote for the change order was prohibitively high and I ended the phone call feeling very frustrated. Within minutes, one of the owners, was on the phone. Chelsea put on a MASTERCLASS in conflict resolution. She made a personal connection, approached the situation with humility and grace, quickly establishing empathy in both directions. Chelsea found a delicate balance between defending her business and wanting to help find a solution by sharing more detailed information about the systems and installation process, and asking questions about why I wanted to change the location. Like most customer-service facing professionals, she articulated that she wanted me to be happy with the product and service and that the company would make it right. But unlike the majority of those people, it did not come across as condescending - she was genuine, willing to explore options, and ultimately took the time to gather more information and see what options were actually available. The installation manager, Del, came out the next morning, worked with the installers to find an efficient solution to move the unit, and the system was completed within the original schedule. The two-man installation team ended up working a little later, and even on a Friday afternoon before a long weekend, showed professionalism and patience in testing the system, cleaning up, and making sure all of my questions were answered before calling the job complete. Ultimately, I am very satisfied with my Bellow's experience and would recommend. I am very impressed with Chelsea and her handling of the situation. Jose and his crew were absolutely amazing! I was looking for someone to replace our makeshift…read moreend-of-line cleanout with a proper one, and Jose came out on a Saturday to give me an estimate - super fair pricing and great work done quickly on the next Friday. We ended up telling him about our crumbling cast iron main sewer line under our slab foundation, and a belly in the garage that's been causing us problems every year, and Jose offered us the CIPP + robot cutter trenchless solution so that we don't have to dig up every connection in our house, and it was at a fair price. Since they did a great job with the cleanout replacement, we decided to do the whole sewer line CIPP and dig up the belly too. Jose and crew arrived promptly at the scheduled time to start the work. They dug up a trench in the garage and replaced the section of the pipe with the belly on day 1. After the belly was replaced with new pipe, there was still not enough slope for the new section to properly drain, because the two end of the existing pipes were just at the wrong height and simply replacing the belly was not enough. Jose communicated this to us and proposed another solution where they would pipe burst under the current pipe for the section that's too high to my front yard clean out so that the whole section would have proper slope, at no extra charge. Meanwhile the crew in the back were working on the CIPP in parallel. They measured out where the openings were and carefully marked the linings with the measurements. Inserted the linings, cured it, cut it, then used robot cutters to reopen the connections. After everything was done, they patched everything back, and cleaned up the whole place. When they patched the concrete in the garage back, they made sure put in rebar to support that small cut out section of the concrete. We saw the final result together in the camera inspection and the pipe looks great - no more bellies and one nice sewer line with proper slope and smooth lining. I'm so glad I found this company and Jose who I know I can trust to do high quality work and do the right thing when there are unexpected hiccups that arise. Throughout the process, Jose took time to explain to us what will be done and how it will be done so we were never left in the dark. I really appreciated the clear communication. On a…read moreSaturday morning, our toilet stopped flushing and dirty water came out of our shower stall and bath tub. We were desperate to find a plumber that worked on the weekend. I called Jose and followed up with a text. He got back to me right away and said he could come out in half hour. He came to evaluate the situation and sent his workers a couple hours later to snake the line from our clean out access point. Tree roots were the culprit to the clog. Beware, if your ins. company urges you to use American Leak Detection (ALD) for exterior water…read moreproblem!! Was promised "lots of special equipment", "will find and mark location".Tech from ALD showed up and said "only here to do water pressure test" "not find leaks".He looked at meter while i turned on hose. Then he checked pressure on hot, cold and irrigation lines.(best most accurate way to check these lines is to turn on. which he did not do!) His final report states "all held pressure" and "NO LEAKS". (amazing that irrigation line has "no leaks" since partially dissembled and full of leaks when turned on!!!) Next this tech walked around my house taking pictures while making absurd unfoounded remarks that he neglected to put in his final report while actually denying some of them!!! Some examples are "you could put a french drain around your entire house" I stated more practical to find/repair leak! By just standing on my cracked driveway, without any tests, stated "i think you have a leak in your drain pipe" (covered by ins co.). His final report states "driveway cracks due to ground movement" (not covered). Drive way drain scoped few days later by real plumber and found leak in drain pipe. My property is flat and not able to visualize three sides due to hedges and fences which tech never even approached. (and no tests done) states moisture in back yard "rain related:. I tried to provide dated pictures proving problem in back yard began BEFORE any rain and very dry!!! Tech refused to look at them. His report states "can only go by conditions at time of inspection". This company ALD must make an awful lot of mis diagnoses if they consider onset of problems as an unimportant issue!!! This tech actually even asked me (and included in report) if back yard water problem was worse with rain???? I intently looked at him searching for a logical reason for such a stupid question!!! (and found none) I have to be careful here since this tech is a relative of part of management of ALD but i also have to be honest. I found this tech to be very dishonest in denying comments made to me and the differences in the report!!!I also found him to be extremely unqualified to be doing any water pressure tests!!!! (or plumbing work). GOOD LUCK TO YOU IF YOU OPT FOR THIS OPTION FROM YOUR INSURANCE CARRIER OR ANYONE ELSE!!!!!!!
