This review is long overdue. We've been using Starving Plumbers consistently for over a year, ranging from smaller jobs to bigger ones. Alex installed our smart water meter, which is now mandatory for most insurance companies, and we have used Starving Plumber's ever since. Alex has always been the one to come to our house but I've also talked to the woman who answers their phone as well as the owner, all good experiences. Everyone there is kind, communicative, honest, and realistic. I never feel taken advantage of or like there's hidden fees, it's all upfront and personable. Alex also knows a lot about our house type, which is an Eichler, as he's a really knowledgeable dude and just super pleasant to interact with. We have gotten burned before by other companies but we feel like we are in good, trustworthy hands with Alex and this company. Also, as far as plumbers in the area go, they are very reasonably priced. We will continue to use Starving Plumbers as long as we live in the area !! read more

Wow! I didn't know a plumber could be so delightful, while getting so much done, with so little mess! Eric, the owner, was wonderful on the phone. He sent Alex the next morning. Alex of Starving Plumbers came this morning to fix my leaking shower, and he did something so outstanding that I've come straight to Yelp: As we were headed into the house,, his eye caught water fizzling under a hose bib on top of the landscaping pebbles. He immediately dropped to his knees and scraped away the pebbles and dirt and found water spurting out of a break in the pipe. I'd been in and out a hundred times and never noticed. Thank God he did. Another fixit needed, but I shudder to think how long it could have gone on if he hadn't been so observant. And new shower parts are on their way, and he'll be back tomorrow to put it all together. And I only left a message yesterday. Billing is very fair -- plumbers are paid by the hour rather than by commission and/or by the job (no matter how fast it can be done). I had a new fridge delivered and found out I didn't have a waterline in my new townhome. I called up and had Jake come over to set it up. Ended up needing to come up with a brand new solution on how to get the waterline set up and he walked me through the whole solution step by step. On time, brought along the right part because I'd provided him with pics of the problem so he knew what to bring, was in and out in about thirty minutes, polite, intelligent, and wore booties over his work boots to not bring dirt or debris from the wet pavement on the carpeted staircase to the second floor of this townhome and on to the carpeted landing as well. I had some concerns regarding my sump pump noise under the house. I bought my house in 2020 and had never heard the pump due to the drought. Recently needed to replace an older toilet and chose to work with Starving Plumbers. They came through a recommendation from a friend who worked with them before, so I figured that was a good start! Communication about the project was clear and timely. They helped me decide on what toilet met my budget and needs. Once the job was booked and added to the calendar, they showed up on time for the install wearing a mask. The plumber was very considerate and ready to get to work. After he completed the install, he cleaned up the bathroom and left it how it was before he arrived. He demonstrated it worked and asked if I had any additional questions.
