And I am SUPER particular about how my pants look and feel. I pay up for quality and I basically had the tailor alter over $1k in pants. The first run with the golf pants she handled perfectly, so I then took all of my dress pants to her to taper. I wore the shoes I was going to wear with them and she measured one pair of pants and that was it. I was a bit skeptical (and afraid) but she NAILED IT. I cannot tell you how pleased I am and how much I would recommend her to others. Please make sure that you tell her what YOU want and trust that she can make it happen because she CAN. The service I received from this business and its manager was incredibly disappointing and caused unnecessary stress during what should have been one of the happiest times of my life. When we arrived to pick up my dress, we waited over 30 minutes before the manager even acknowledged us. Once we were finally helped, my dress was nowhere near ready to go home. It still had safety pins attached and visible markings all over it. Throughout every fitting appointment, there was bright blue marker all over my dress. I was repeatedly assured that the markings were easy to remove and that they would disappear before the wedding. Later, the manager even told me that she had gotten rid of the blue markers because they were actually difficult to remove. Despite being promised that everything would be taken care of, I arrived out of town for my wedding only to discover that there was still highlighter-blue marker all over my gown. Instead of enjoying the night before my wedding with excitement and joy, I spent it crying while my family tried to remove the ink from my dress. No bride should have to experience that. Your wedding dress is one of the most important garments you will ever wear, and you trust your alterations team to handle it with professionalism and care. Sadly, that trust was completely broken.
