Wowow I've been coming to Dr Lam for 6 years, always a great experience, and today (post COVID reopening) was no different. They were communicative about the changes and it was so smooth. The team was clearly, wonderfully trained to adapt to an even-more sanitized appointment and they even had medical grade air filters in each patient station. I moved within the last 7 months & needed to find a new dentist in my area. I do depend on Yelp reviews to help me find what I'm looking for & I definitely was not disappointed. I don't know if dental practices have "busy seasons" or they're just that popular that when I called to make an appointment, the first available date was in a month. I took it anyway. The place is very clean with newer decor. The ladies up front were very pleasant. Joanna was the one who did my X-rays & was very friendly. Beth took care of my insurance stuff & went over coverage & what I would be paying today. Dr. Marquez went over my X-rays & did a cancer screening or something like that where he feels around your jaw, neck & head area for anything abnormal. This was all new to me & they used newer technology for their practice. Unless I'm late & this stuff is older but the X-ray machine & this tool they used to take photos of your teeth were really neat. Dr. Marquez went over a lot with me & I felt very informed & way more educated about my teeth than I have before. He was so nice & made me feel so comfortable. Vanessa was the person who cleaned my teeth. She was also very nice throughout the process. Going to the dentist is already nerve wrecking because no one loves the dentist & people are always concerned about pain & cleanings. Unless it's just me :) but the one thing I really hope for is for the staff to make the customer to feel welcome, comfortable & at ease. That is exactly how I felt from beginning to end. This place is consistently awesome. I'm blown away by the staff members: Beth, Dr. Marquez, Joanna everyone is great. I went to another dental office nearby and was charged $39.99 for unapproved fluoride treatment and was given a treatment plan for pain in my back tooth (cause determined to be a filling and crown replacement) that would cost $822. Thank goodness I went the route of a second opinion. First round here, Dr Marquez accurately assessed that my nighttime teeth grinding was the culprit for pain but I did have two fillings that needed replacement. The bill? $380. My son and mom are now part of the precision family and they continue to impress. Thanks for everything, guys :) read more

It's been a while since I've paid a visit to the dentist and I decided it was time to go back for a check up. Usually every time I went to the dental office I would stick to Gentle Dental but with the 3 locations I visited with them in the past I was ready to move on. They were going to keep me waiting for an hour when I showed up on time and then run me right out the door....Didn't have that experience here, quite the opposite in fact. Clean and nicely decorated waiting room and the entire team was pleasant, patience and understanding and I felt like I was valued there. I believe the doctor's name was Dr. Marquez? After 3 dentists telling me 3 different things about my teeth, he was the only one that was upfront about what I needed and didn't put any pressure on me. I was encouraged to address all of the questions and concerns I had before leaving. Overall, I left there knowing this would be my future location with a smile which is how it should be going to the dentist, lol. read more

Yesterday was my first visit to this office and Dr. Lam. I needed an urgent extraction and bone graft. I was extremely nervous and the doctor and staff made me feel more comfortable and confident within minutes! Everyone at the office was kind and professional. I waited no more then 5 minutes before being seen which was record speed for any appointment that Ive ever had! I believe their rates to be very reasonable and they are honest about their charges. Actually pretty blown away with the level of professionalism and service here, this is after having some pretty bad experiences in vegas, at other 4 1/2- 5 star rated places on yelp no less. I've had numerous dentists and offices try to push me into getting cosmetic work done and it always felt like a hustle or sales pitch every time, but Precision did such a great job with my cleaning and treatment yesterday I'm going to pursue some cosmetic work with them, they did a great job of answering my questions and being up front with costs, at no point were they pushy about it. read more

Hands down....Best dental practice in Las Vegas! First impression when entering the office: It's immaculate! Nairobit and all front office staff are exceptional: friendly, efficient, and very professional. No wait times. They have been very cautious during the Covid period, allowing patients to wait in their vehicles, and will text you when your room is ready. State of the art digital high tech x-rays. On all my visits, they greeted me by name upon entering. I am 70 (old), and needed work on my upper teeth (mine were cracked, thin, and past their expiration date). After my initial consultation with Dr.Lam, I chose to have the upper 6 crowned. Jacky, the financial consultant, explained to me all procedures in advance (cost, my options, and what insurance would cover). She was thorough, and answered all my questions. She kept me informed on everything that was happening during the process, including calls to keep me updated. She is a jewel! I was aware in advance that once crowns were completed, it may be necessary to return a few times to have minor adjustments. Due to no fault of theirs, I returned several times...I was a very difficult patient, and was having issues adjusting to having 6 "new teeth". Each time, Dr. Lam was patient, listened to my complaints, offered suggestions, and never once treated me in a condescending way. He went above & beyond to explain each procedure in detail. Both Ava & Crystal are treasures in their own right. Caring, kind, and excellent assistants to Dr.Lam. Always willing to listen and ease my trepidation. Thanks for the response. The way I was talked to after asking is my insurance covered anything was bad as well. There's 10 dentist offices within a mile radius of any location in town, the fact you all do this is beyond ridiculous. Don't have prices on hand even though you know how much they cost. Dentists are the glorified car salesman of medical practice. No one should have to wonder , or go place to place to get a "rough" estimate on work to be done. Teeth aren't just there to be cool, a huge issue in our country. Problems with teeth can cause all kinds of other health issues and I'm sure you know this. Instead though, dentist offices can keep hiring cute receptionists, drinking Starbucks every day and driving nice cars, while everyone who doesn't have thousands to just throw at their teeth is frustrated and miserable. The fact that dentist offices wheel and deal on prices is a joke. So anyways, say whatever you want, all the dentist offices in this town are crooks, liars, and hard to work with. read more

Precision Dental is hands down the BEST dental practice in LV! Dr. Lam, Dr. Anthony, and the team are extremely friendly, welcoming, and caring towards their patients. My boyfriend and I had a horrible experience with our last dentist and had major trust issues for awhile. After finding this place on Yelp and reading all the great reviews on here, we finally decided to make an appointment since my boyfriend needed a crown replacement and I needed a check up/cleaning. Making an appointment is painlessly easy and quick. You can either contact them by phone or message them on their website. Either way, the staff are super fast to respond and easy to get a hold of if you ever need to reschedule. The best part is that they're open on certain Saturdays so it makes it a lot more convenient especially on my days off. My boyfriend was seen as a new patient/consult by Dr. Anthony for x-rays and crown replacement. I also had Dr. Anthony as a new patient/consult where they did x-rays and examined my teeth and then Dr. Lam for my cleaning. Both dentists were knowledgeable, easy going, and personable. They genuinely listen to any concerns or issues you have and makes sure you're satisfied and comfortable with the care they provide. I'm not surprised that Precision Dental has a 5 star rating. We are family of four that have recently gone to Dr. Tran's office for dental services. The crew is fantastic! He is patient, attentive and caring. They are not like other dentists that we have been to, always tried to exaggerate the conditions for claims. I had my temporary crown came off and Jacky fixed for me even when the office was supposed to be closed during the holidays ! Dr. Tran was so caring when he did my daughter's very first cavity. I found my new dentist and go to office! If you are thinking about going to this place... I highly suggest you make an appointment. They live up to their 5 star ratings. Their office staff is very easy to get ahold of, and they were very friendly when I made my initial appointment. They will call you ahead of time to let you know if you have any copays for the visit. Front desk staff were very friendly when I came in, and I checked in using a iPad, which was very nice to do! I was called in on time and got started with xrays. Dr. Anthony came in to do an exam (checking for oral cancer, suspicious lumps, etc). I hate to say it BUT my previous dentists did not do such in depth exams the way this dentist did. He is very thorough, which I appreciate. He also went over the X-rays with me, explained everything very well, and even fixed a filling that was bothering me from a previous dentist. Then came the cleaning, I had a wonderful hygienist (I totally forgot her name!) but I'm going to request her again next time I come in... she's awesome at what she does. Also, if there's a service/procedure the dentist recommends, someone will come and talk to you first to go over how much it is (if insurance doesn't cover it) before proceeding. First two times were great. 3rd time for cleaning the first girl cleans my teeth and she suggests I get "gum laser treatment it's only 80 and includes fluoride" I asked what it does she tells benefits I ask are there any risks she says "no". I remember watching an investigation about dentists up selling so I said I'd look into it and maybe do it later - thankfully - I find out it's a PERMANENT SURGERY WITH RISKS. unbelievable. Ok second girl comes along to do polish and floss. She half ass flosses my teeth, missing two or 3 of my rear molars, my gut told me to ask for a different person. But I continued. Long story short she put the polish on way too hard I had to have her stop and then she blasted my teeth with very cold water and after 3rd time I told her I'll just rinse out my mouth and spit. After a dental nightmare, at Boston Dental I gave Dr. Lam, a try a couple years ago and have been more than satisfied since. He doesn't try to upsell me gimmicks. In a couple years I have had only one cavity. They are very patient with me when I Need to reschedule an appointment.My most recent appointment was with the newest dentist. The practice is expanding. Rex the Higenest is super gentle! I feel comfortable coming here. Dental medicine is very subjective. Don't find out the hard way like I did. I Get a cleaning every 3 months.
