I had to schedule an appointment here for a terrible reason.. A chunk of my molar broke off this morning. Luckily when I called as a new patient they were able to fit me in the same day! They were super accommodating and super nice! The waiting area is very nice and calming. The assistant made me feel super at ease and joking with me and dr Anthony was very gentle and I was straight forward with me and giving me what kind of options I had to fix my tooth. Needless to say I need a crown and have already booked my next appointment. The staff is super nice and would definitely recommend for your dental needs! The staff here is great but the hygienist BRITNEY is the absolute worst. The first time I came here she cleaned my teeth and she was not gentle at all. She rushed through it like there was no tomorrow. She didn't have a friendly attitude and it was a painful experience. The second time I came here to get my teeth cleaned, I was relieved I didn't have her to do my cleaning but I did see her in the other room and she gave me the most nastiest look. Lena was the last one and she was very professional. I have never been at a dental office with a better staff. Never. Ever. They are simply way above the rest in service. My son had an appointment today. I believe the name of the dentist who did his procedure was Christina. While doing the procedure, my son felt like he was choking so he accidentally moved her hand due to reflex. She then started yelling at my 8-year old son and accused him of hitting her. She added that she didn't tolerate hitting. My son is not used to someone raising their voice at him, let alone accusing him of something that he didn't do. I can say that he was traumatized by the experience. Going to the dental clinic is already stressful for kids and this incident didn't help at all. Glad to have found this gem! The culture in this office is amazing. They are very pleasant. All the staff engage with the patients. They talk to you. They're all very chill. For someone who has a phobia with dentists, this means a lot. I'd like to feel comfortable and at ease prior to a procedure regardless if it's major or not. They do a very great job on that. Dr. Tran, what an amazing guy. Very skilled dentist and his bedside manner is outstanding. After moving from NJ, I was unable to maintain treatment for my braces. I didn't have it taken off because I was getting charged a ridiculous amount. Dr. Tran worked his magic and referred me to an Ortho, who is just as good as him, and charged me a fraction of the cost of what the others were charging me. I'm now braces free and started my treatment with Dr. Tran. During a procedure, he walks you through it and tells you what the expectations are. His hands are featherweight. Still the best hospitality, one new update is that they have expanded to double the size in operation, so you can usually get a flexible appointment. The parking lot is much busier than it was before, so plan to arrive a few minutes early in order to find a spot. Precision Dental is great! Amazing staff and they are extremely helpful. I've had sleep apnea my whole life and have been lacking quality sleep for as long as I remember. I went into the office and they recommended I get a DreamTAP nightguard. Ever since I have been using my nightguard, I have seen a huge increase in my sleep quality! I saw all these great reviews and decided to switch to Precision Dental. I brought my two teenagers and we all had check-ups and cleanings. That was all fine. I was surprised that we all three had cavities, as neither of my kids have had a cavity (14 and 16). They both had braces, so I thought maybe they weren't able to clean their teeth as well. Bummer, but okay, they needed fillings. We all went for our fillings. Both kids fillings fell out and had to be redone within a week. Really? That has never happened to me in my life. So, between being told we had 5 cavities between us and having the filling then fall out, I was over it. Went to another (better) dentist and they had to re-do the fillings for all of us, because they had fallen out, AGAIN!! This wasn't a scam, because they did it for free. I can't believe what a pain (figuratively and literally) this place was for my family. Glad so many others are finding good service here, but definitely, my family did not. As a side note. We didn't see Dr. Lam. It was another dentist (forgot her name). Too bad. Dr. Lam seems to be the dentist to see. read more

I have a dental insurance but was willing to private pay as this place as it had great reviews I have a serious dental condition I see a surgeon for, and had a recent panoramic x-ray with. I explained this to the receptionist and said I needed an exam 4 check up x-rays and a cleaning. She said come in the Dr will decide what you need. I come and they try to take another Panoramic x-ray exposing me to radiation I don't need and generating income for themselves. This is not the kind of quality care I expect. They are all about production production production. Big waste of my time and I don't need a dentist office that doesn't listen to me. I left. read more

I absolutely hate the dentist. Enough to avoid it for several years. When I walked into this office it was immediately bright and cheery, not dark and scary like I remember it as a kid! Every single person that works there is incredibly friendly, polite and professional. The office is immaculate! I told them I had anxiety over the dentist and needles but they described every step along the way so I knew what was happening. They have a financial consult with you and go over every single line item before you decide to move forward. Dr. Anthony sat with me and thanked me for coming in and answered every single question I had. He was also so reassuring that even after being away for so long, he was positive he could get me back on track with my oral health. They have very high tech equipment as well and the X-rays were instant and in front of me so I could see them! So helpful so the doctor could review my teeth and show me what was going on! Ok and as for the teeth cleaning, I can't stop looking at my teeth! So clean and sparkling! As someone that hates going to the dentist, I can't wait to go back! read more

First off, I have an EXTREME fear of dentist. As a child, every, single, visit I had was absolutely terrifying. I don't say this lightly either. I avoided the dentist like the plague, only going when absolutely necessary. This of course rolled into adulthood. UNTIL I came across Dr. Lam. It took me months of trial and error with other dental offices to find this diamond. From the very first call, to present day, Dr. Lam, and his AMAZING staff have always made me and my family feel comfortable and at peace. They treat us like family i tell ya! They're all thorough, attentive, understanding, knowledgeable, and kind. I truly have no words to express how blessed I am to find such an amazing dentist and team. Because of Dr. Lam, Jacky, and Rex, my visits (and my families) have always been nothing but pleasant. No anxiety, no panic attacks, and due to this we have built our healthy routine of going to the dentist twice or more a year. Even after I moved to the northwest part of town there was no way in hell I was giving up Dr. Lam and his team!! They're very accommodating in scheduling appts. And for that I thank them! Yelp lead me to this amazing dentist, so I feel that it's only fair to share my experience as well! I moved to Las Vegas in 2016 and have not been to a dentist since then. I know, I know, that's not good. My last experience with a dentist was unpleasant--the dentist didn't really explain what he was doing and he was very pushy with adding on products and services to routine visits. Because of this, I didn't rush into finding a new provider. If anything, I was probably a bit afraid to go in for even an exam. I was recently experiencing some sensitivity and general tooth pain, so I decided it was time to see a dentist. This provider originally stuck out to me because they're open on Saturdays. Mind you, it's only some Saturdays, but that's more than majority of dentists and I'll take what I can get. When I first walked in to the office, the receptionists greeted me by name and I took a seat in the waiting room. It was very pleasantly decorated and best of all, I barely even had to wait for my name to be called. Then, I had to do some obligatory x-rays and an exam. Before coming in, I had a feeling I may need a filling or two, but I had vowed to put it off to a later date, but I was so comfortable with Dr. Tran that I had the filling done today. The best part of all of this was that Dr. Tran had explained every step of the process and made me aware of everything before he did it. Additionally, every staff member who worked with me introduced themselves. It's these little things that turn into big things. Over time, I had developed a slight phobia of the dentist based off of other people's experiences and of my own years ago. I decided to scour Yelp for some advice and Precision Dental was listed right at the top since it's fairly close to where I live. I was super impressed with the reviews and just had to see for myself. I was terrified of making that initial phone call to make my first appointment but was pleasantly surprised by how kind the receptionist was and how they did not try to rush me off the phone and answered all my questions. I was surprised when I approached this standing x-ray machine that was able to take 360 degree pictures since all you do is just stand there waiting for the machine to rotate all around you. Then they used a x-ray gun to take pictures of each of my teeth. I'm so used to the massive x-ray arm that dentist's would have to somehow maneuver all around the room to get the perfect shots so this process was super quick compared to what I remember in the past. Then I met Dr. Patterson. She did not make me feel terrible about skipping out on some appointments to the dentist and explained a game plan on some of the things that need to be done. She was super nice and friendly and I am just happy she was assigned to me. I've gone back in for a couple of teeth cleanings already and each visit with either Dr. Patterson, dental hygienists or any of the receptionists have always been so pleasant. I refuse to go to any other practice and wish they could also take care of any other doctor appointments I have. read more

I absolutely hated the dentist due to bad experiences as a child, and after avoiding the dentist chair for well over a decade, my postponement caught up to me & I needed to get TWO ROOT CANALS, side by side. Anxious and nervous, my uneasy feelings quickly disappeared -- as Dr. Lam's dentistry is a warm, family establishment with an amazing staff and is, hands-down, the best dentist I've ever been to. My entire experience at Precision Dental was amazing from start to finish... from the girls at the front desk, the sweet girl who did my x-rays, the hygienist, the dental assistant, and of course -- Dr. Lam. He is not only professional, but genuinely caring... really explaining everything about my treatment in understandable detail and also giving great advice for prevention, instead of the common lecturing we usually hear. My dual root canal procedure was seriously such a breeze... completely painless (I literally did not feel a thing!), and I was so comfortable (they let you listen to your choice of music on Pandora), I even caught myself almost falling asleep a few times! Dr. Bobby Lam and his hygienist, Rex, are amazing! First things first: for new patients, you need to have a consultation-type meeting with Dr. Lam. So with your very FIRST appointment in this office, you won't be getting any procedures done. With your first visit, they're going to get x-rays for your teeth, jaw and head. Yes, they take a full cranium x-ray shot of you. That will take about 30-40 minutes. Then you will meet Dr. Lam as he introduces himself, take a look at your jaw/teeth/gums and give you any kind of suggestions on what you might need done. Keep in mind, he won't force you to do anything you don't want. He suggested I should get a deep cleaning done and have some cavities filled. So with my 2nd appointment...I was scared shitless...almost to the point of tears!!!!! I was so closed in backing out and saying fuck this shit. But I knew I had to take care of my teeth. You get one side of your mouth done first and you have to come in again (separate appointment) to do the other half of your mouth. Yes, I know that sounds soooo time consuming and it was. I had to change a lot of my personal schedule around to fit these two separate visits in. But trust me, your mouth will thank you for it because you get numbed up pretty good and your gums may be sore for the next few days. It helps to have one working side so you can still eat. Most importantly, the numbing gel was my life saver because I couldn't really feel the numbing shots. And I had to get two. At one time, I had to get three! But with these shots....you don't feel much. A quick needle poke here and there...some sensitivity pain in the gums but only for a quick few seconds. Once again, I have absolutely ZERO pain tolerance. ZERO!!!!!!!!!!!!!! But I got through it and so will you. The entire deep cleaning process took about 20 minutes. Quicker than I thought. It was my cavity filling that took longer than anticipated. Entire visit from in the door and then out to my car was about 1 hour and 30 minutes. After all this was said and done....you betcha I've been flossing, brushing AND mouthwash on the daily. No joke. I even bring floss with me everywhere I go. I'm not planning to through that shit again. read more

So.... I was a naughty child back in the 80's and ate lots and lots of candy. Every molar in my mouth had Mercury silver color fillings to seal the many cavities I had. Now that I am a grown, professional young woman, I became very self conscious of all the silver in my mouth, not to mention being worried that all that silver was in fact the dangerous metal Mercury. I asked Dr. Bobby Lam if he could take every single Mercury filling out and replace with a white one to blend with my natural teeth color. My entire row of teeth, top and bottom, now look almost perfect, beautiful and clean! I no longer have to close or cover my mouth when I laugh and smile.
