I'm new-ish to this clinic. I wasn't receiving a good dental care from my previous dental provider :( My friend swears by this place, so I thought I'd give it a try. The staff from check-in to check-out were very friendly. Dr. Tran walked me through every single dental procedure and step before performing them. The hygienist Bianca was very knowledgeable at what she does. They also have a person that gives you an estimate of how much the insurance will cover and out-of-pocket costs before proceeding with the procedures. They were also very considerate when I had to walk-in in the afternoon since my old filling popped out that morning, I was able to come in that day to get it fixed :) read more

It's been awhile that I've been to the dentist (pre-covid) and I've been told it's the same story for everyone. I was looking for a new office that was closer to my area in the Southwest. The check-in process was all done via text which was cool. You have the option to stay in the car until a room is ready (if you choose). Best dentist in Vegas! After hopping around to 6 dentists within 4 years I finally found the one. This place is clean, great front desk staff, great technicians and great care. They did a wonderful and throughput job cleaning my teeth and also are up on the latest technology when it comes to mouth are. Everyone working here seemed pretty happy and when that's the case normally they are taken care of well. On a side note they are closed for two weeks at the end of December. I LOVE that. We work too much here in the states and I hope that everyone who works there gets time off for such an incredible job that they do. Love it here! read more

I've been a customer since 2021, since the office was under a different ownership. I have always been well treated and respected. They offered me a plan, monthly payments to have access to regular dental cleaning every 3 months, that worked great on a very reasonable price, until my last visit yesterday. The office informed at the time of my appointment that my plan did not existed anymore, and that I would have to pay $360 to have my cleaning done. Very disappointed to never receive a messa or a notice about this change in advance. I'm not a customer anymore. And I would not recommend their service to anyone again. read more

As someone else already pointed out, they won't just schedule you for a cleaning. You need an "oral exam" first, and then you can schedule a cleaning once that's done - but for some reason they won't do both on the same day. When I asked the receptionist to explain, she stumbled through several reasons, none of which made any sense: -It's complicated, trust me. -We need to see what kind of cleaning you need(after just telling me that the first cleaning appointment is always 1 hour). Basically, they want you to take time off of work twice so they can bill your insurance more. I'm sure they'll reply and pretend that they don't. No thanks! I'll go somewhere else. read more

Called yesterday because I was concerned on a white thing on my gum were I had a root canal done on last Saturday. I was bit concern because of the pain around it and the clear white stuff . I called yesterday around 5pm and the receptionist was able to book me next day 9am. I came for clear mind and honestly was relieved that it wasn't an infection. We're new to Vegas and had to find all new essential services for our health. Found Precision Dental and grateful that we did. I was having problem with a tooth implant that bothered me for three years -- my gums were so inflamed and the tooth gave me so much discomfort. Found out that Precision Dental can help me so I made an appointment. They do all kinds of work at this facility, and if they need to do an implant, they bring in a specialist. But for the most part, they do everything else. So happy to go to one place for all my dental needs. Very impressed with the people and the operation -- very busy, but people take time to greet clients, Everyone is friendly, helpful and personable. They treat their patients with kindness, understanding and respect. And they all seem to genuinely like working there and working with each other. Dr Anthony is the ONLY dentist i have ever liked in my life. I moved out here from California recently and I didn't do much research into finding a dentist, I just kinda chose what was close to home so I got VERY LUCKY falling under his care. He doesn't know this but I've actually had full blown anxiety attacks that I tried to breathe through while waiting for him. Each time he came into the room and just talked to me, explained what he was doing the whole time, and just had a regular convo with me, the anxiety went out the window. He always makes sure you're doing ok and are comfortable while he's working on you. He's very calm and reassuring which is what a worrier like me needs in a provider I'm currently 9months pregnant and have had to see him for a cracked tooth and crown and honestly, I can't wait til I pop this baby out so I can fix all the other stuff going on with my other teeth. The best dental office in Las Vegas. Let's start with their office staff---friendly and efficient. I drive across town to come here and totally worth it. The appointment process is easy and they run on time. They offer modern dental practices and cost is very reasonable for everything from cleaning to fillings. I just got done having a filling with Dr. Tran and Rachelle. He explained the process step by step and was done in 15 minutes. PAINLESS!! Did not even feel the needle as he applied a topical numbing gel beforehand. I haven't had a cavity since I was a kid so I was a little nervous but Dr. Tran was very reassuring and made the process quick and easy. Hopefully I won't need any more dental work aside from cleanings but happy to know I have a reliable and great office at Precision Dental. read more

I got a referral to come here by my root canal specialist. My root canal specialist informed me that this place was great and that they will help me very well. I have a huge fear of doctors, and dentists are included. So because my specialist was super awesome, I believed him. But man I was so wrong. The first day I went there, I saw Dr. Ronnie and her assistant, whom I think was let go, since no one is telling me her name. Everything was going great until the assistant was shoving the tube sucker down my throat, and she wasn't even paying attention. Instead, she was talking to her co-workers. Dr. Ronnie was no where to be seen. When I asked the assistant where Dr. Ronnie went, the assistant said she left to see another patient. So not only they didn't even inform me that Dr. Ronnie left to see another patient, I had to wait another 20-30 mins for her to come back. Great... If I had the choice to go to another dentist, I would, but due to my insurance and time, I can't. 2nd day: I requested a different assistant, Imari. Done. But man I should've changed doctors too. Dr. Ronnie, was just not good. She messed up my temporary crown that my specialist made for me. So when I went back home, it came off. Did not eat or anything, it just came off. So I was super disappointed. I informed my daughter and this time, my daughter came with me. She made them change both the doctor and the new assistant. So this time, it was Dr. Lam and Richard (assistant). Imari, the other assistant was ok... not my favorite, sorry...but not sorry. But Dr. Lam and Richard did the job better than the other people did. Now mind you, this happened all in 1 day. 3rd day: Came back here, hoping everything was going to be ok. Thankfully, it was. Got my crowning done and I left. So if you are going to come here, be sure to watch who you will be paired up with. I do recommend Dr. Lam and Richard, which is why I gave another star. This is a business first and foremost. They have a financial incentive and motivation to overtreat patients. The dentist will spend five minutes looking at x-rays and your teeth, then declare you need extensive work done. Seemed very rushed and shady. Then if you dare ask questions they will cop an attitude and talk to you like you're an idiot. Very sad state of modern dentistry. I understand patients don't take care of their teeth then come in expecting you all to quickly resolve their issues, but I wonder how many patients simply needed education and a better diet, rather than SURGERY. Why would surgery be the preference and first choice, unless it was due to financial motivations? I will never return. read more

I hate going to the dentist just like everyone else, but multiply that by ten and that's about where I'm usually at. I waited far too long to make an appointment for a cleaning after moving to Las Vegas and it gave me anxiety...I of course did the responsible thing and continued to put it off. Finally, I started having nightmares that my teeth were falling out and decided enough was enough. I called to schedule an appointment but they weren't accepting new patients unless there was a cancellation. Phew, I could wait a little longer! A few days later, to my horror, I got a call for an available appointment and I mustered up the courage and went in this morning. No more excuses. As I walked in, I was greeted by a very friendly office staff. I filled out my paperwork and within 5 minutes I was taken back for X-rays. The dentist was in with me literally immediately after, he was watching as the X-rays were taken. Shortly after, the hygienist, Bianca was in with me. She was amazing from start to finish. I don't know about you, but I'm not usually laughing while I have sharp objects in my mouth. Not only is she funny, she was also super informative and made the entire experience much less horrific than I anticipated. OmG, I cant stop smiling today after leaving Precision Dental office. Had crowns put (by Dr. Lam with help of Eva) on front bottom teeth that were chipped, stained and very crooked. Now they look perfectly straight and so nice and amazing!!! I trusted Dr. Lam with this because he did such an amazing job putting crowns on my upper front teeth in 2011, that are still going strong and look absolutely amazing and everyone compliments me on. Today, I had my regular deep cleaning routine check up. I have been coming to Precision Dental for about 3 and half years now when his business was just small. I found them on yelp when I first moved here and what made the decision of coming here was that Dr. ( D.D.S) Bobby Lam responded himself on his reviews which told me he cares about his business, patients, and staff. During those 3 years his practice has gotten bigger and has brought in more business. He expanded his office and brought in new staff as well. I love the fact the staff is on point on greeting and knowing what my name is when I first step into to check in. I feel the staff is very happy and content with their positions and I feel that Dr. Lam treats them like family. You can sense it in the office. As my name being called I am walked into to have a seat in my long chaise. First thing they do is take your x rays and the dentists will check for lumps around your throat, neck and jaw. This dentist is close to home, accepts my insurance, and had great Yelp reviews. So, I was very optimistic about scheduling my new patient visit there. I had a very disheartening experience before I even stepped into the office, however. I was called a few days before my visit and was told that my insurance did not completely cover the panoramic x-rays, so there would be out of pocket cost for those. My last dentist did those x-rays in 2017 and told me I really only needed them every few years since I had no history of any dental issues. I told the dental staff that I would pass on those and just get the bitewing x-rays that were covered. I was put on hold and another staff member came on the line. Long story short, she basically told me that unless I was willing to have those panoramic x-rays done (and pay for them) I would not be seen as a patient there. She did not offer to try to get them from my previous dentist (I had to bring that up). When I did mention it, she said she could not do anything to get old x-rays due to patient privacy (a completely false statement). As a result I had to call my old dentist who gladly emailed all the x-rays over. I called to check that they were received; the staff said, "Well, we prefer them to be less than six months old, but maybe we can work with these." Ultimately, on the day of my visit the staff were quite friendly and there was no further pressure to get more x-rays. The dentist (I believe Dr. Tran) was quite friendly and knowledgeable, the hygienist was good (though he didn't say very much and did things a bit differently than any other hygienist I have had), and the office is quite nice inside. Strangely, I was not offered a take-home kit with toothpaste and floss like I have received at every other dentist I have ever been to. So, a very unpleasant experience before I walked in the door plus a pretty decent experience in the office leads to a fair three stars I think. read more

This place deserves ALL the 5 star reviews. I never thought that one could have a NICE dental appointment. I always viewed it as something to begrudgingly do as a byproduct of being a responsible adult. After many "I should probably go"s and a medium amount of internet research, there I was, at Precision Dental. My initial visit was an exam and consultation. I met with Dr. Anthony first who made me feel so welcomed and listened to. After my visit I set up a follow up appointment for some fillings. My filling appointment was with Dr. Tran- He talked me through the entire process, made sure I didn't feel any discomfort at any point and really put my mind at ease with how communicative and professional he was. I even had a slight imperfection on one of my front teeth that he offered to correct so I left not only with perfect fillings, but better looking front teeth. After everything was finished, I was handed a lavender scented hot towel to freshen up. A lavender. Scented. Hot. Towel. All in all, I wouldn't be upset if something bad happened to my teeth just so I could come back. Beautiful office, incredible staff, flawless work.
