From the Receptionists and Welcoming/Admitting Crew to the Hygienists and Dr Hua himself, each and every experience I've had over 3 visits now have been Pleasant, Thorough and Professional - All of my concerns/worries of visiting a Dentist have been eliminated after visiting here - I even changed my next visit for a Crown up a month earlier now that All else has gone so well. My only complaint is that I didn't find this place sooner - I've had a long history of dental work, I've jumped from dentist to dentist, and it has legitimately been a nightmare. Almost every procedure has been done incorrectly, resulting in needing more work. This office is personal, they treat you amazingly, I'm going to grow old with Dr Anthony lol I actually have a pleasant time and my nervousness and anxiety is eased here and that means a lot. The way they execute the work that needs to be done with clear communication and break down exactly what you'll be charged after each visit with no surprises, is the cherry on top. I wanted to experience a couple of visits before writing this review. But WOW! This is by far the best dentist you will ever go to. First off, their customer service is top notch. They are SO friendly and always smiling. They're completely genuine and really care about you. They don't brush you off as "just another customer". They actually take the time to remember every customer and make you feel like family. Upon checking in, (due to covid), they have you wait in your car and you text to check in, then they call when they are ready for you. They are always on time and quick to get me. Their office is always clean and very high tech. I didn't even know half of this new technology existed in dental offices until I came here. It's really cool because you can see your xray and close up photos of your teeth while you're sitting there. They go over everything with you during your initial visit. But it's really cool to see what they're talking about (ie issues with your teeth) on the big screen! My initial cleaning went smooth. They were so gentle, careful, and precise. I've gone to other dentist offices where they're rough and my mouth would hurt after a cleaning. But not with Precision! They were very thorough with no need to be rough. They even give you safety glasses so no water (if any) accidentally gets on your face. The doctor was also very nice and communicative. He was very helpful with answering any questions and didn't seem bothered, nor rushed. Dr. Hua really cares about his patients and making sure all our questions get answered. My next visit was a cavity cleaning and again, that whole process was smooth and FAST!! Dr. Hua could tell I was super nervous since I had such a TERRIBLE and painful cavity filling experience at my prior dentist, but he made sure I was okay and made the whole process go by quick! I don't know how they do it so fast, but it was probably about 10 min. And on top of that, the filling looks great! He really does professional work. Overall, the whole staff from the assistants to the front desk are great. They're just so happy to serve you and again, very helpful. I didn't know this until my second visit, but you get a credit for referring people. I think it's $25? I didn't know when I referred my friend from my initial visit because I had such a good experience, that they gave me a discount when I did my cavity filling. I highly recommend anyone looking for a new dentist to check this place out. I've never seen such a welcoming dentist facility before. The whole staff works together to make sure you have a great experience. The dentist should never feel like a drag and if it does, you're at the wrong dentist! Had a dental appointment for my son today from another location and got unscheduled and the staff was unable to put him back and rebooked my son for July 13th. Since he's been dealing with toothaches more than week, I walked in to Precision Dental with high hopes that they will take him in. I explained the situation to the front desk, without any follow up questions, another staff came up and took my son in for emergency appointment. They did not disappoint! Exemplary customer service! After a single visit to Precision Dental, I realize that all of the other dental offices and dentists I've gone to in my life have been doing it wrong! I recently moved to Las Vegas a month ago and had a filling fall out. My dental insurance had not taken effect yet either so I used Yelp to help me in my search. I saw all of the 5 star reviews and figured "let me take a chance" (since I'm usually a little dental phobic from past experiences even though I am very careful to brush and floss religiously). My awesome experience started right from the moment I emailed them for appointment availability. They called me within 10 minutes. (Most other offices I've emailed never even got back to me). They said they could fit me in first appt next morning which I gladly took. I have never come across a more friendly front office staff. Everyone smiled, greeted me and were super positive. (I guess I've been conditioned over the years to expect apathetic staff so for me, a simple smile and cheerful hello makes my day even though I'm very low maintenance when it comes to experiences.) The office is VERY clean, inviting, and sleek. They truly follow all Covid protocols if you are worried. I was immediately seated and my assistant was really fun and upbeat. She took my x-ray with a handheld device (which I didn't even know existed) and I waited a few moments for Dr. Anthony to arrive. Dr. Anthony is exactly the type of dentist that you want. Super friendly, non-judgmental, relaxed and easy going. He was also very skilled in his assessment and assured me that he could get me fixed right up. 5 minutes later, I was being numbed and continually asked if I was doing ok during the procedure. Him and his staff had the utmost care for their patients and their comfort. Within 10 minutes, I was done and even offered a warm towel afterwards. I mean...who does that!??! When I met with the billing staff, they were also ridiculously friendly and accommodating. I got home and told my Fiancé how surprised I was that I had such a great experience and she said "I don't know what dentists you had to deal with in the past but that's how it's supposed to be." My past dentist that I used for 15 years before moving was always a little short, sometimes shamed patients and was all doom and gloom when it came to teeth. I actually didn't have to wait too long to be taken to the back once I arrived, and they immediately started on fixing my tooth as soon as I went to the back. I appreciated that they verified my insurance prior to my appointment, and had everything all figured out. To sum it up in one sentence, this place feels very insincere. As someone who has gone to their regular cleanings consistently every 6 months for the last 8 years, i've never felt this way about a dental practice. I'll give them two stars because the place appears very young and modern, with new equipment, which is what initially attracted me here. I am appalled that i went in today for a cleaning and it would've taken two whole hours. I'm a new patient, so i expected it to be long. I started at 8am and xrays took about 30 minutes. Then she tells me my cleaning wouldnt start until 9am, and i said what? As someone who works at 9-5 job, i already expected to be late, but not an hour late. She then tells the hygienist I have work soon to see if she could fit me in. The receptionist decides to approach me instead saying that they would have to get my deep cleaning approved by my insurance, so they wouldn't be able to get it done today anyways. Great, this should have been communicated way ahead of time. Also was very surprised that I was told to get a deep cleaning. I would understand if it was once, but they said it would be several times every 3-4 months with 1 hour appointments per quadrant per day? How do you expect anyone who works a normal job to be able to take off time to go their appointments so often? It doesn't make sense lol. They also told me to go on antibiotics, which seems outrageous in my eyes. TLDR: I just wanted my bi-annual cleaning and I couldn't get it done. Of all of the health professionals you should see on a regular basis, dentists fall under my #1 most unwilling to see. Regardless, this office is superb. The staff are all gems. One of the receptionists (Chelsea) greets me by name, and it was only my second visit back! After that visit, she always greets me by name when I come in. My hygienist, Patrick, is absolutely great. He's nice and friendly, and my cleanings are surprisingly much more pleasant than I remember them being at a previous dental office. My dentist is Dr Tran and what can I say, he's also friendly. If I have any questions, he makes sure to address them. I'll definitely be seeing them often, as I will make sure to come back for regular cleanings and not skimp on them, no matter how unenjoyable this process is. Having a good hygienist really makes a big difference, though. For your first visit, for a full X-ray and consultation, it was $59. Seems hard to beat. read more

I wish I had had a different experience here and it's unfortunate that I lost money, time and increased the duration of my pain. I was experiencing nerve pain after Dr. Lam had completed composite fillings on three of my teeth after some gum receding. During the follow up exam, Dr. Lam stated that my issue was beyond the scope of his expertise and referred me to his colleagues, Fife and Steffen Endontics. Dr. Lam stated, "I send my parents here...". I was seen there, imaging was done on the problem area and they determined I would need a root canal, because Dr. Stevens stated it was likely necrosis after the filling was done (though the filling had been done so recently?) Something seemed off to me so I went to two other places for opinions: one very reputable dentist in LA who also had a background in neurology and another dentist in Mammoth Lakes. They both told me within five minutes of assessing my teeth and my recent xrays that there was no infection, no need for a root canal and I was experiencing nerve hypersensitivity...because I had a hole exposed in my tooth from the filling that I had done at Precision Dental. I'm surprised and disappointed that something that seems like foundational knowledge was missed by the previous dentists...and one actually wanted to perform a root canal on a healthy, yet sensitive tooth. So much time and money was spent on figuring out a simple issue. I was given a treatment for it and now, a year later, I'm doing totally fine, the hole created by Dr Lam has been fixed...and doing better, mainly because they are not my dentists anymore. read more

I am so grateful for Dr. Anthony and staff at Precision Dental. I moved from my home state in 2015 and had several job and insurance changes. Precision Dental is close to my home. I emailed to inquire about acceptance of my insurance, and they promptly communicated with me via email and even added me to the system so that when I was ready to make an appointment, I would already be in their computer. It took a while for me to settle again, but I finally made an appointment. Their staff was so patient, and communicated with me to get me scheduled. It took a while to be seen because they are a busy practice and their availability didn't quite fit promptly with theirs, but finally I was seen. Their staff and the doctors made my entire experience so pleasant. Their financial staff was extremely transparent and explained to me my breakdown and scheduled me for my appointments for fillings - my first visit was just a general cleaning and establish care. As unpleasant as the dentist can be, I actually look forward to coming here because it's so warm, inviting and friendly. Never had I had a dental experience like this and I am so so happy and at peace to have them. Thank you so much! P.S. I've established care and was seen for 2 follow up appointments during COVID19. I had to wear a mask when not in the chair, and was asked to arrive at least 10 min prior to my scheduled appointment time and to call from the car to check in. They checked me in and prepped my room while I was in the car, and once ready they're called me back to let me know to come in. Once I entered I was immediately taken to my room. It's a very seamless operation and it made everything very easy and comfortable. Staff would come and talk to me in my room to explain the breakdown. Check out was only a couple minutes. I found this dentist from yelp, actually. I have a new insurance and wanted to pick a new dentist with the best reviews. I e-mailed them using the form on their website to book an appointment. I'm not a phone person. The receptionist got back to me quickly and got my insurance information and booked me for the next available. The waiting room was nice. I am very dental phobic and had not a great experience getting my first set of dentures so when i was ready for a 2nd set (the first set was also not quality) i search for an office with a good rep. Precision dental has a great staff who made me comfortable and kept me calm. Today when it was the day for the dentures to be delivered to me, the fit was not perfect but with a few adjustments i'm smiling like crazy with no paint and they fit great! Dentist after dentist after dentist x5. I have seriously been through WAY too many dentist here in Las Vegas and I can finally say that I've found a new home here at Precision Dental! We all know that it's not an easy task to select a primary dentist to work with however, I take the time to really do my research and I must say that I am quite proud of this selection. Dr. Bobby Lam runs one of the finest practices out here in Las Vegas and I've never been more impressed with any other dental office up until now. A few weeks ago I called in to just get some information as far as figuring out whether or not my insurance was accepted here and quickly found out that it was. The level of customer service I received just from the preliminary phone call was outstanding so I was excited to give them a try just from that. When I arrived on my first day, I checked in like normal at any other place and all I could think to myself was WOW! State of the art technology, Free Wifi, Bluetooth Headphones streaming Pandora for the patients to use while getting your services done, you name it! Incredible! On my first visit, it was solely for my consultation so I already went in knowing that the cleaning may not happen in the same day. For most people they don't understand why it takes two separate appointments but I do. How they explained it to me made perfect sense. Before I forget, I would like to take the time out to also shout out the Front Office Manager Jackie! She is AMAZING and does her job VERY well! I also met with Rex who is one of the dental hygienist here and he too was a pleasure to work with! Kudos to the entire staff! Precision Dental is just flat out AWESOME!!! From the décor all the way down to just the overall ambiance of the entire place. One thing that really sets them apart from any other office I've been to in the past was how personable and professional the ENTIRE staff who works here is. I've been going there for about a year and the practice is incredibly well organized, immaculate, and high tech. My challenge today was that I had chipped one of my teeth. When I called, I expected to have a several-week wait that seems to be the norm nowadays. Instead, they found me a slot - if I can get there in 2 hours! Dr Tran remembered me, of course, and gave me the option of filing the sharp corners or filling the missing corner. I chose the filing and was done and out in about 15 min. DO NOT GO HERE. This is a horrible dental office. Looks good up front but I had 10k of work done and have teeth pain/problems after a couple years today I had a tooth rot/fall out. It was a root canal with a zirconia cap and the tooth underneath the cap rotted off and now I have no tooth and might not be fixable. These people do not use the correct procedures or properly clean teeth before sealing them. I most likely will need to have all the work redone if at all possible and this is ridiculous. I have plently of other complaints like constant bleeding that I went back for but they didn't fix. Pain when eating. I can only eat on one side of my mouth. The list goes on. My girl friend also got a tooth that only needed a cavity fix and the dentist who did it over packed the tooth and it cause extreme pain and she could not eat. She went back and had rework and they drilled too far and now she may need a root canal and this is unacceptable in all aspects. I went to this office for a good amount of years after wanting to find a local dentist closer to me in the SW compared to where I used to drive before. I was in the area they are located in often so stumbled upon them and good reviews which is why I tried them out. I overall was a fan of everyone, the owner, and the very clean modern decor which I appreciate in any medical practice of any kind to set the tone as well as all their updated equipment and techniques. The parking is always disastrous per all the other businesses in the plaza when you come during peak times which is very frustrating. My main issues per experiences I had right up to the pandemic when I stopped coming back per the main factor that rubbed me the wrong way. My hygienists as nice as they were were always overly rough on cleanings on occasion when my teeth are in perfect health, no issues to date because I have been ocd meticulous with my oral habits since my teens to avoid any issues as I got older aside from the general that just come with age. I do above and beyond the basic flossing and was always implied as if I didnt simply per bleeding gums per the abrasive cleanings or always having someone in the staff try to upsell me on gum treatments or possible lasor procedures for such "issues" or orthadontal recd for minor superficial things. It made me wonder what they were trying to upsell to those who had teeth in health much worse than mine and in general am not a fan of any medical practice that tries to promote the most extreme expensive solutions from the get go instead of helping advise and heal/work on issues at the root. I also was never a fan of xrays being demanded to be done so often especially when someone does not have long standing issues. There were times between a busy work schedule or otherwise I didnt have the additional time for xrays and just wanted a cleaning and they would not budge in this at all as many other things trying to justify their policies when it blatantly comes across unsincerely among trying to get the most money possible out of you or your insurance. I was most irritated that every single cleaning I had aka every 6 months I had a new dentist every visit among had to wait up to 45 minutes after a cleaning for them to finally come in. I get they imploy quality staff but this kind of turnover because the prior dentist had left or opened their own practice constantly was so over the top as I would have to start all over building rapport with the new who would take endless additional time to question me about everything I had repeated endlessly prior as if I was a new patient and trying to upsell things I had already declined on past visits. Not something anyone has time to deal with in their busy schedule trying to get in and out for a basic cleaning during the work week as they arent open on weekends or the occasional Saturday once a blue moon that's already booked years in advance. The last straw for me was after the pandemic when I was temporarily furloughed from my corporate job and without insurance for the first time in my life I called asking if they might offer some kind of special or fair pricing to aid their many longtime patients in the same position paying cash and was responded to ny the front desk with a very could care less attitude of sorry we don't offer anything aside from our general full price of cleaning plus xrays and no they could not dare not let me skip the xrays and extra cost of them. The fake sincerity of the acting like all patients that built their business are family and so forth really showed its true colors here when so many were out of work and dealing with the aftermath of the economy struggling with basic expenses and they couldn't be bothered to attempt to even work with those without insurance when it is something any practice in town I had gone to prior offered year round for new patients as far as specials when saying out of pocket. This is why I now go to another beautiful office near Mountain's Edge that is equally as nice in design/technology but actually backs that up with sincerity for their patients. Among all the flawless reviews for this office there are enough people who mention these same concerning issues I ran across which is why I wasn't willing to give them another chance per the growing red flags at every prior cleaning compared to how much I enjoyed my first few years before they started trying to expand and make their name, have endless staff turnover, and put their business growth/sales above patients as many started to feel. To each their own but not how I want to feel when dealing with any medical professional wanting my health/best interest to be put first when we are at our most vulnerable! read more

I've been to some ghetto ass offices, and this is not one of them (I am aware I sound ghetto as well).
