ACT towing rescued us and our truck and trailer in Seligman. Our new F150 Lariat wouldn't start and…read morenone of the usual suspects could be found... battery, starter, etc. The truck electronics were muddled and we couldn't get the emergency break to release. ACT trouble shot the problem and found a safe way to flatbed the truck without damaging anything. Even though Ford roadside assistance was waffling on dealing with our trailer predicament, ACT got us to our campground, got the trailer positioned and leveled at our site, and delivered our truck to the Ford dealer in Flagstaff. The ACT driver had decades of experience and man did that work in our favor. Getting stranded in the desert far from home on a COVID Sunday with an RV rig is a little stressful. Especially with two small dogs and 99 degree heat. We were so impressed with this company we gifted the driver the best bottle of California red wine we had on hand. If you have the option, call ACT.

The auto shop (Route 66) which we tried to get some help was not helpful at all in any way. Their towing was worse when they tried to take advantage of our situation, charging us $450 to tow our van from Seligman, AZ to Kingman, AZ which was double than what other tow truck company charges which we found out later during that day. We will never ever step in to the Route 66 Auto shop and towing, they are just plain horrible to do business with and will rob you blind. Anyway, our auto insurance (USAA) sent a tow truck to our aide, and that's when we met Larry of ACT Towing from Prescott, AZ. At first Larry was kind of shy, but after a couple of minutes on the road, we realized that we have met the kindest gentleman on earth. I was also surprised when he offered to bring our pet inside the truck cabin which other tow truck company would never dared ask that. Our insurance company covers the towing from Seligman to Kingman for FREE, that's about 75 miles away and because of our situation, staying in Kingman and having the van repaired will cost us a pretty penny. So we asked for a quote from Larry of how much they would charge us from Kingman to Las Vegas and I was surprised they gave us a very fair price, so we decided to be dropped off all the way to Las Vegas. If we ever see ourselves stranded by Seligman, Ashfork or Williams AZ area, we are confident that we are in good hands for as long as ACT Towing is around. They are professional, always willing to help, honest and reliable. Despite of our misfortune, we have met a person that makes us strive to be more kind to others. Thank you again Larry! God Bless you and your family...

They referred us to Tri City Towing. I called at 9AM to see how long it would be before the tow truck arrived. The dispatcher said 60-75 minutes. The driver never showed up. After 90 minutes I called back and was told the driver was 20 minutes away. Then the driver called and said he had to make another stop before he could pick up our truck. It is summer in Phoenix. We were lucky it was a little cooler and we had plenty to drink. If not we would have been in trouble from dehydration and probably needed to call 911. In addition there was almost no cell service where we were parked. We had to walk about 5 minutes to get service. We continued to wait. It took 3 plus hours for the tow truck to show up. Then he told us we would have to go back to Phoenix through Buckeye because he had to drop off another car. At this point it was not like we could say no. The air conditioning in the tow truck was barely working. The driver said the company employed 32 people and 2 mechanics. Clearly they need to hire one that knows how to work on air conditioners. We were getting very dehydrated from waiting so long to be picked up and the AC not working. The conversation with the driver was laden with the F word which we did not want to hear. When we were driving on the city streets he was following way too close to the cars in front of him. The last straw was the driver almost ran a red light right before our destination because he was too busy talking and not paying attention to driving. It took us over 8 hours from the time we called for the tow to arrive at our destination in Mesa. Unfortunately this tow company has the contract with AAA from Black Canyon City north past Flagstaff and over to Prescott. If you are an AAA member and they try to assign you to Tri City Towing do not use them. Tri City will lie to you about how long it will take for them to arrive. They will not tell you how many hours it will be before you are dropped off at your location. They will add other cars to the trip because they are more concerned about making money than customer satisfaction or comfort.

He recommended a tire rotation in addition to the oil change and alignment. I asked what all that would cost and he quoted me a price of $180.00. I made an appointment and took the car in. When the technician looked over the tires we decided that one tire needed to be fliped so the worn side would be on the inside. He said there would be an additional charge for that and I agreed. When I went into the office to pay, woman in the office told me my bill was $240.00. When I questioned the price she said $80 for the oil change, $100 for the alignment, $40 for the rotation and $20 to flip the one tire. When I told I had been qouted $180. She asked if I bought the tires from them and I said no. She said the young man who quoted the price must have assumed I bought the tire from them, so the price would be $240.00. I have been doing business with Sergio's for 15 years and have bought several sets of tires during that time. I also thought the woman in the office was very cold and rude. I told her I wouldn't be back because I don't do business that way. I recommend that if you do business with them, make sure you get a written quote listing all the work to be done.

You took advantage of me before the holidays and that's all I want people to know. I wasn't going to respond to your response on Yelp but the fact that it's now been over a month and you still refuse to send me a detailed invoice and the fact Nick decided to immediately text me after my initial review threatening legal action and bringing up my military service which is completely unrelated says all without me saying anything further. I gave your company over a month now to send me an invoice and I would have ignored Nicks unprofessional, unprovoked threats, and belittlement over my military service but I can't look past it any further. Here are screenshots of what he texted me immediately after my first review, something I believe everyone will want to see before doing business with your company. For everyone seeing this I spent many years in the Army and I'm a combat veteran so I'm not sure why Nick decided this was relevant to text me when all I was asking was for an invoice so I know why I was charged such an obscene amount. If the invoice looked correct I would have deleted my initial review and went my way but I know that wouldn't have happened which is exactly why he still refuses to send it, something I'm owed as a consumer. I will be disputing $350 of the $946.49 charged to me and will be contacting the BBB over the unprofessional texts that were very unnecessary and unprofessional. These screenshots say a lot about Nick and your company's character.
