I was in a tizzy with my general contractor who was denying that there was a leak under our slab that lead to our bamboo floor buckling for the 8th time in less than a year. Bullseye was able to detect the leak in my bathroom behind the walls by using their equipments. If you can't reach them, try texting. I was pretty sure I had a slab leak in my house, so I called Bullseye to find it. Got a sameday appointment and they were on time and ready to go with their specialized equipment. They quickly found a subtle leak in the master bathroom. Luckily it was not under the slab and was an inexpensive repair. Communication was excellent throughout. I'm quite disappointed in Bullseye after reading the good reviews. First off, when I call their business number it seems to always go to voicemail. I've left messages and haven't received a call back. Today I sent an email - again no reply. I did speak with Jeremy once when he called me to change the original appt I had set up. The first appt they gave me was on a Saturday which was great. Then he called and said he couldn't do that but could come the next week on Thursday at 9:30 am. This meant me taking time off of work but due to the nature of the problem I agreed to do that. I tried calling last week to confirm the appt, had to leave a VM but never got a call back. Fast forward to today, Thurs- 11/7 - NO SHOW! I called, left a VM and sent an email with no reply from Jeremy or anyone else from the company. Extremely poor customer service! read more

We had a ridiculously high water bill but didn't know why. Jeremy worked on our property for 3+ hours and carefully examined everything. It took longer than normal because no leak was found. (We are still not sure why but the water usage is back to normal now. It was probably some transient issue e.g. high water pressure, toilet flush valve malfunction, etc.) Anyway, Jeremy was very thorough in his work. He went down twice to our crawl space to double check. We even made an optional followup appointment the next week, and he promptly called us on that day to make sure our problem was already solved. I followed the Santa Clara Valley Water District procedure to see if there was a water leak in my townhome. I found a small leak of about 4 gallons a day and couldn't trace it to the toilet tank flaps or any other area in the house. I was very concerned that this may be under the concrete slab. So I had Jeremy from Bullseye come out and look for the leak. I picked Jeremy because of the Yelp reviews and also because he only did leak detection. Jeremy was very professional in his communications and very thorough in the search. Very quickly he found that the leak was in the drip irrigation valves in the backyard. But he patiently made sure there was no other leak in the house. He wrote up his findings very neatly so I had something to go back to later. Fixing the backyard valve problem eventually settled the matter for me. read more

I had a tiny leak somewhere on my main water line (~300'), and was concerned that It won't be detectable (hence I'll have to replace the line / very pricey and tedious process to find it). While it was not easy, Jeremy was able to find the leak within an hour. I'm very happy with his service. Jeremy was kind, honest, and professional. He's the owner of this small business (unlike other leak detection company with grandiose/catchy name that popped up on Yelp), and I was happy to support him and his business. Another thing I liked about Jeremy is that he offered an option to pay a fairly small service fee if he's not able to detect the leak, which made me more comfortable using his services. I contacted Jeremy six or seven months ago. He was professional over the phone. He agreed to come over and do the leak detection. I was dissappointed that he did not find all the leaks in one visit and even after three vists, one fix by him and several fixes made by the swimming pool person that services my pool pool water level is still going low. Even though was pleasant and professional, he does NOT respond to messages or phone calls on time. I spent a lot of money on finding and plugging the leak in my pool - the leak is still there. Finally I called another leak detection company and they found a major leak in the piping and that is being fixed now. I would not recommend Bulls eye detection. Jeremy was super helpful in diagnosing the water leakage problem. I had hired a plumber to detect the possible water leak issue a few weeks ago, he claimed that he had fixed it. However, I got another email from the water department today claiming that the leakage is still ongoing ! I looked up Rooter Hero and they connected me to Bullseye Leak Detection , Inc. Jeremy called me and was going to rush over from Los Gatos to Newark right after he is done there. He was so smart, before he starts coming told me to turn on a video call and maybe he can do a diagnosis from looking at the meter and locations. He was so amazing, he walked through step by step where to look for the possible leak. After 30 minutes of back and forth video calls he found the issue and I didn't need to spend a fortune in fixing the problem! Guess what? His time spending in the diagnosis was at no charge! Lessons Learned: 1. Find and get to know a Trustworthy and Competent Plumber. Leaks and other mishaps can happen and you should already know at least one and possibly two good plumbers. 2. If you suspect a leak or a ruptured pipe, FIRST DO CALL your TRUSTED PLUMBER! Let him or her assesses the situation and then follow his or her advice regarding the next step. 3. Keep in mind that Leak Detection Technicians are NOT plumbers unless they came from that background. They rely on equipment and not necessary the common sense or a plumber's experience to identify the problem. Call a Leak Detection Technician that your trusted plumber recommends only after he or she deems necessary. Most competent plumbers can tell you the source of the problem! Moral of the story: Jeremy, the owner of Bullseye, is a nice guy but he is simply incompetent. He ripped me off of $280 for a service which did not find the source of the leak in my property and furthermore he asserted that my water meter was broken which turned out to be a complete error on his part! Case details: 1. On 9/2/2014, while entering the side yard of my house; I noticed a small pool of water that was accumulated on the ground under the kitchen's window, see enclosed picture. At the first glance, it appeared that leak was originating from beneath the house as the result of possibly a ruptured pipe. 2. I proceeded to contact Bullseye Leak Detection Company based on their good reviews in Yelp. Jeremy was able to come over on 9/3/2014. Upon his arrival, I showed him the location of the leak. 3. Jeremy requested that I shut all the valves in the house and made sure there was no running water anywhere which I did. 4. Jeremy took a look at the water meter to determine the extent of the leak. Although the meter's counter was not registering an extensive leak (no digit movement), a small triangular shape indicator underneath the counter was moving very slowly. Jeremy mentioned that there is leak but fortunately is a small one. 5. Jeremy proceeded to use his detection equipment and concluded that leak seems to be somewhere in the kitchen between the refrigerator and the counter with no reference to a specific pipe. 6. On 9/4/2014, I contacted the Clearwater Plumbing Company and was able to secure an appointment for the same day. 7. Upon their arrival, I showed them the location of the leak and the Bullseye's leak detection report. The Plumber read the report and commented that the report was vague and unhelpful. He then pointed to the drainage pipe and suggested that the leak is from the drainage pipe's housing. This particular drainage pipe is connected to the second floor's master bath toilet, shower and sink area. We confirmed the leak by flushing the master bath's toilet few times and observing the water leak from the drainage pipe's housing. 8. The Plumber proceeded to unscrew the housing, cleaned its grooves and reattached it back into the drainage pipe. We flushed the toilet several times and verified that there was no leak. Furthermore, the Plumber inspected the kitchen area, examined the underneath of the refrigerator, dishwasher and the sink and assured me that there is no leak in the kitchen's wall or anywhere else in the kitchen. 9. I brought to Plummer's attention that water meter did indicate a small leak. He suggested that I should contact the Bullseye, explain the situation and request that Jeremy to return and further investigate the source of the leak since the drainage pipe is NOT a water supply line. There must be a leak somewhere in the house. 10. On the same day, I contacted Jeremy and discussed with him the Plumber's findings and asked him to return to further investigate the potential leak in the house. He agreed to come over on 9/8/2014. 11. Jeremy returned, proceeded to investigate the potential leak using his equipment and concluded that there was NO leak in the entire house. Furthermore, Jeremy stated it that the water meter was faulty and I should contact the City of Milpitas and ask for the inspection of the water meter. 12. I contacted the Milpitas utility department, explained the situation and requested the inspection of the water meter. 13. The inspectors arrived at my house and upon further investigation, they concluded that water meter was perfectly fine and the source of the leak was a faulty irrigation valve in the front yard (I have two valves) causing a very small amount leak that was being registered by the water meter. I visually confirmed their findings regarding the leaky valve. 14. Keep in mind that Jeremy never asked me about my yard's irrigation system even though these valves are visibly located underneath the facet where he connected his pressure meter to see if there was a loss of the pressure in the house's water supply lines which was none. The water supply to irrigation system is directly connected to the water meter so any leak in the system is registered by the water meter read more

Jeremy did everything right. He showed up right on time. He had a spectacular pipe side manner with my 7yr old daughter. He spent a lot of time doing a very thorough job and pulled out several testing techniques including a thermal imaging camera to view my radiant heat pipes embedded in my concrete slab. From the radiant system, id forgotten to run it before he came and even managed to have it turn off while he was waiting. He was very patient and didn't / wouldn't leave until the job was done. He even went so far as to keep in touch with me, without my asking, to ensure that the several leaks he found were where he said they were as my situation was complex with radiant heat pipes with leaks embedded in a thick (6") concrete slab and hot and cold water pipes with leaks running under that slab too! I have had a small leak in my pool for the past couple of years but it escalated this summer & I needed to get it fixed. I called around to a bunch of places & decided on Bullseye due to the price, to be honest, but I am glad I did. Danny quickly determined that the issue was with my skimmer & gave me a verbal quote on the repairs followed by a written one. One of Danny's workers came out to do the actual repairs & explained things to me when I asked questions. It took him all day but he was completely done & did not need to return. Danny himself showed up towards the end of the job to check in & make sure everything was good. Since the pool was already partially drained to do the work I decided to have additional work done that has been needed for a while so I do not know if the leak has been fixed but I am sure it was.
