I had a major malfunction last night. I turned the water off and tried "fixing" it myself. That didn't work. I called Precision this morning 12/22 at 7:15 and explained my problem. The girl said a technician would be at my place between 8-10 for a FREE diagnosis of the problem and cost to repair! Ron B. showed up at 8:45 and immediately saw where I failed and explained what went wrong and how to fix it. He presented a couple of options that I found to be very fair and I selected the best option for me. He was GREAT! He was helpful and understanding! I used the plumbing services yesterday and they charged me $240 to replace a little rubber hose connecting my Culligan reverse osmosis system to the water supply, a problem Culligan would have done for free had I know which bit was leaking. My bad for not asking. They came out today to fix a leak on the outdoor faucet and quoted $750.00. I said no thank you. I Youtubed it, went to Lowes and paid $1.99 for some washers, replaced them myself and fixed the leak. I gave them 2 stars because they reponded quickly, came out the same day and the technicians were very professional, but give me a break. I'm a 63 year old woman, not particularly handy and I fixed a "$750" problem for $1.99. I will not use them again. read more

I used this company back in April, they replaced my water heater and hose bib which went great! Later this month, the hose was leaking. I called to have them re check it, knowing that it probably needs to be replaced again or it's a bigger issue. When I explained to the gentleman that came today that their company changed it in April, he called his company and they denied replacing it in April. I have the receipt, the price was scratched off but the gentleman still changed it, wether he charged me or not is not my problem. I ordered for a water heater replacement and a bib hose replacement. And that's exactly what I got, not to sit there and tell me that it wasn't done, knowing I have the receipt. The lady I spoke to was very rude and told me that I denied service for the bib, when I saw the gentleman change it myself. Save yourself the time with this company, I didn't even want a warranty exchange, I didn't even ask for one. I would of gladly paid to replace it again, but not with that attitude. Turns out Precision Plumbing, per se, is not a plumbing company. I received a quote from Andrew H. to install a water heater; purchased with pan, and in place. The quote was $635.96 for what Andrew figured would be a 2 hour job, which is a gross overestimate on time required. When I ask Andrew his hourly rate as a licensed plumber, he explained that he is a licensed plumber but is not paid hourly. He is paid on commission. Commission for what...the sale? Not parts, not equipment, not machinery....Andrew is getting paid a commission for selling labor. Which leads me to conclude that Precision Plumbing has more in common with a used car company, but without the benefit of an asset...like a car. Master plumbers make approximately $40 for each hour they work...that is how labor works....laborers work a certain number of hours and get paid for each hour they work. I made an offer and just like at a used car lot, Andrew had to go and check the number with the boss. Andrew came back with a counter offer of $550; I firmly declined. Sorry, not paying a "commission" of $275 per hour for labor that is normally $40 per hour. Probably should have called the Plumbers Union first. read more

I can't recommend this company enough. I've been using them for 5 years after a recommendation from a friend. I used them to install a gas line for a new gas grill, service my hot water heater and just recently to replace a few hot water lines where I had a slow leak. Always on time, friendly and professional, reasonable priced and the quality of their work is spot on. Last night I had a problem with a main waterline that was backed up. They came at 8:30 in the evening and fixed it. David, Frank, Thomas, have all worked at my house and I would highly recommend any of them. My friend used them to go tankless when his hot water heater died. When the gas company came over after all the work was done to sign off on it, the man from the gas company said it was the best installation job he'd seen. I called this company when we had a leak in our upstairs bathroom. The plumber, Jordan said there was water inside the wall and that we needed to open it up. He recommended WFM restoration. WFM was wonderful! Once the wall was opened up, Jordan came back and said there was no leak. My husband and I couldn't understand that since it took over a week to dry everything up with several huge fans. I asked for another plumber to come out from from Precision Plumbing and then I was informed that they wanted money up front on our credit card. I then decided that we wasted enough time dealing with this company. Called another plumbing company and this plumber found the problem right away and was able to fix it. Had a main water leak that needed to be fixed ASAP and on a budget. After a couple estimates Frank R. came out and didn't just give us a great estimate he was very friendly and very informative. Frank came today and did the job and he did such great work. He was also so informative during the process and made sure everything was all good before he left. Being a first time homeowner and having something like this happen for the first time it was nice to have someone explain what they're doing. I've already told all my neighbors about Precision Plumbing and made sure to ask for Frank R. because the houses on our street have all had pipe issues and he'll probably have a lot of work now. They came out for an AC Maintenance and gave me a list of things I needed done. They called a few days later to make an appt for them to do the work. What they told my tenant, what they wrote up on their "quote" and what "Mr. Hardy" was telling me now was all in conflict. I told him I was going to get a 2nd opinion. He then said that was dumb, since the next company would just find out what they already told me, they would charge for the trip and I should just go ahead and have them do it. My main water pipe in front of my house broke. I called this company to come give me an estimate. They sent this horrible person of a human being named Frank R. And I say that because when he came over looked at the problem and quoted me $1,500 i said that I need to get more estimates as he was the first person to give me one. He immediately got a bad attitude and proceeded to tell me good luck getting a plumber to come out and fix my problem. I was already stressed out as I just bought the house 4 months ago. I felt pressure to just tell him yes and I was going to say yes to the work but I had one final question which was is the company insured and bonded which really got him upset and said to me, you know what call someone else and basically hung up on my face. So rude and disrespectful. I ended up going with another company that was very patient and professional. Frank just wanted to put a bandaid on my pipe basically which would cost me more in the long run. I'm getting the whole pipe replaced at a price of $5,000. I used these guys "8" years ago. Worst experience ever. I had a sewer line disconnect (diagnosed and fixed later by another company). They claimed it was a belly in the line and wanted to dig up my driveway to fix it. The disconnect was like 10 feet away from where claimed the "belly" was and wanted like 6 grand for the job. They claimed I needed a Hydro Jet, charged me 750 for that and the next day the worker admits he jetted "the wrong line." In fact, he hydro jetted the clogged line and likely made it worse. Despite going off on them numerous times on the phone, and using them that single time nearly a decade ago, they have been calling me like stalkers for 8 years now, attempting to get more business.
