I scheduled an appointment online for my tankless water heater on a Saturday night. Unfortunately, their online appt system does not work. I called the following morning and the person who answered the phone scheduled my appointment for later that day. My tech Juan showed up about six hours later. Kevin and his crew did an awesome job on my bathroom remodel. They had to move a gas line, two vents and four water lines and all the work was great. Plus, their price was super competitive. Owner, Kevin Luby, came out to our home and recommended a device that would improve delivery time for hot water on the second floor of our home. He told me that I would get a quote for the work/device. I never got the quote. I followed up later and got a V/M from their front office stating that we would get a quote within 48 hours. I never got the quote. I called again and spoke with someone in the front office. She said she would check with kevin and give me a call "right back." It's been a week and never heard back from her. It's rather ironic that the company name is "Action" plumbing. Completing and delivering quote - complete and abject failure. Myrna (office manager) was wonderfully responsive in getting all the moving parts scheduled and coordinated; Kevin (owner) was on top of the situation and made sure evidence was gathered to show that the issue was due to a common HOA pipe (so that the HOA could reimburse us for the cost of repairs); and Rocky (the thoughtful and great plumber) was literally in the trenches in 110 degree weather all day laying down new pipes so that we could move our tenants back into their home. They gave my a window of time, and were on time. Friendly guy (so sorry I didn't get his name) replaced disposal, fixed leaks. That evening we noticed a small leak that was still happening, they came right back after I called the next day and fixed it. After spending a whole day trying to replace a kitchen faucet and four shutoff valves I gave up and went to look for a plumber. Sent out quotes on a Friday night and got several responses. Action Plumbing came back with a flat rate quote and a Sat afternoon appointment. I confirmed the appointment Sat morning and Rocky showed up in the afternoon to complete my DIY. The problem I had was I didn't have the right tools to remove the stuck compression rings and one really hard to remove shutoff valve. Wow, what a great experience! My home warranty could not send anyone to fix any issue over the weekend (I would have had to wait over 48 hours for a contractor to even call me about my issue), but 6:30 pm on a Saturday night, I call Action Plumbing, and by 7:30 pm, I had someone at my house! Rocky--the plumber/tech who came out--was so quick and accurate with his diagnosis. He quoted me a very fair price, and completed the job by the end of the evening. So professional! What a rip off!!! Tried to con me into paying over $1600 for a new water heater plus the $89 yearly service agreement. Called another company and had a brand new quality unit installed for under $900 the same day. I knew the pricing of a new water heater before he gave me this BS story how expensive they now are.
