They have done a lot of work for us on the outside of our house after we had freeze issues three years ago and two years ago. Their work has been great. They solved the problems we had by spending a lot of time investigating. They are very responsive. This year I needed someone to turn off the water on our house before this year's freeze because we couldn't get down there and they did that properly. The worst service that I have received in my life. They supposed to change my blower from 08/06 and finally the job has been done on 9/24. They said they need to change the capacitor as well which is not covered by your warranty and the cost is 150$. I check same capacitor online and the price was 4.99$. My home warranty company contracted with this company on a call I placed for my water heater. I confirmed the appointment on Thursday for between 10am and 2pm on Friday. On Friday morning, I returned a missed call. Apparently "Mike" from Precision Plumbing called to re-confirm the appointment, then left after we didn't answer his initial call, but never bothered to come to our door. He said he'd left the area and wouldn't be coming back today. We called their dispatch and spoke to Alexis, who said she was the owner. You could tell from her tone over the phone that she really doesn't care about customer service. The best she could do was to schedule us for Monday, another three days out. She actually backed up the fact that her tech never came to our door and left after we didn't answer his call as if that is some kind of halfway decent service policy. If you end up needing a plumbing service, look elsewhere. This place is total crap and obviously doesn't care about their customers. read more

I had to use them for a broken water heater, through my home warranty Landmark, after the first company was discovered to be out of our area. They set up the appointment between, 10-2 p.m., called confirmed, emailed the day prior. Not once did they mention...oh we do a second confirmation. We get a phone call, return it and after some ridiculous phone tag find the technician left our area, despite it still being in our appointment window...because of some arbitrary second confirmation needed, that wasn't even conveyed in writing via email. Call, the owner takes the tech side...since we didn't return her plumber's call fast enough. You were scheduled to arrive between 10-2. He calls and decides to cancel the appointment before noon? People work and can't keep taking days off, because your plumbers don't feel like driving back to an area to meet their work obligation, which you had in writing. If we're lucky...maybe someone by Monday can fix it. Avoid and if you have Landmark, demand they use anyone but them. My husband and I make it a point to read the fine print. Having a fast one pulled on us like that after putting a time off request and confirming an appointment is beyond annoying. It's unprofessional. read more

Great customer service as well as field service! With the cold approaching we needed some quick work on a gas line. Customer service listened to our description and asked detailed questions, showing her knowledge. A quick visit to size up the job resulted in a team of technicians in, under and on our house (attic) to resolve our lack of gas to the furnace. The price was more than fair. Contacted Precision Plumbing in late February following the freeze we encountered in Galveston Texas. We hired them to fix a broken pipe under the kitchen sink. The plumber came out completed the work, took payment and left. As of last week my husband noticed a small leak under the house ( home is elevated) coming from the same area where the work was completed. I contacted the company the same day and informed them of the situation. They scheduled to have the plumber come out and assess the leak. They also mentioned a fee would be applied if it's found to be a pipe they did not work on. My husband and I continued to investigate and found that there was a straight cut across the drain pipe causing a slow leak. I contacted the company again to inform them of this new finding and also found out they will send the same guy who caused the issues. The issue I have is this plumber either knew he did this damage and did not fix it, or he is negligent. I didn't get clarification on whether this would be excluded from the fee since they didnt "repair" the drain, but instead damaged it. My advice for anyone who had work completed by this company is to reassess their work and don't assume like I did that they will provide quality work. Based on my experience I will not be a returning customer. We have them scheduled to come out again, but honestly reconsidering. read more

Called Precision Plumbing to come out a determine the source of a leak in the attic. The Precision Plumbing technician spent less than 5 minutes at the house and told us that it was not a plumbing issue but likely a leak from the HVAC system or the roof. We hired an HVAC company and roofing company to come out to see if they could find the source of the leak and in less than 10 minutes the HVAC technician found the leak in the plumbing system in the attic in the hot water line. Either the Precision Plumbing technician was incompetent or lazy, either way, we paid for a plumbing issue he failed to diagnose and then had to pay for the HVAC inspection, roof inspection and ANOTHER PLUMBER to come fix the issue. read more

BEWARE! DO NOT USE! Precision Plumbing was the contractor called to my home through my home warranty company to fix a water leak. Their employee, Mike, checked my water meter and determined that the leak was coming from the meter box and stated that the leak was the city's responsibility. I had the city come out and they stated it was my responsibility. When I called Precision Plumbing back and spoke with their dispatcher, they refused to come back out and fix the issue because it had been longer than the 30 days, although THEIR employee is the one who made the mistake. I don't care how long it was in between, if YOUR employee makes a mistake, then you should be a fair and respectful business and fix it. Instead I had to pay another $100.00 deductible to my home warranty company to have someone else come out and take care of the problem that should have been taken care of the first time. We're assigned Precision Plumbing through our One Guard home warranty coverage, and we've been submitting service requests about the toilet in our master bathroom since we moved here 8 months ago. I just submitted a recall on our 10th service request for this toilet because the problem is still not fixed. I've asked One Guard if we could use a different company, but they sent me an extensive list of plumbing companies we aren't permitted to use, so we are more or less stuck with this company. The ladies at the office are wonderful and the tech who hydro-jetted our pipes for us (Michael) was really great and knowledgeable, but we've gotten a certain other tech 6 times out of 10....and once he realized we're a gay couple, he pretty much just comes and flushes the toilet, says he has to call One Guard, then makes a beeline to the front door. For one service request, he came inside, looked at the toilet, then turned around and left - he was in the house for less than 90 seconds and never touched a thing. If you're looking for a fast repair with a professional service department, look elsewhere. read more

Landmark Home Warranty assigned Precision Plumbing to fix an issue we were having with hot water pressure on Friday. We were promptly contacted by the company and was told they would be at our house between the hours of 12-4 on Monday the following week. We received a call saying they were on their way at 1:30, and they arrived about 20 minutes later. Mr. Perry promptly found and fixed the issue within an hour and was very nice while in our house. I must admit that I was somewhat scared by all the bad reviews posted about being treated disrespectfully and unfairly, but I was left feeling more than satisfied by the professionalism with which Mr. Perry held to in his practice. TL;DR: Air Condition technician tracked mud on my white carpet and somehow clogged a sink while failing to repair the AC. The decision to use Precision Plumbing Service was not my own. My landlord chose this company to fix a problem with the AC in our town home. My two roommates and I all work so, one of us took off to be at home while the technician worked. For clarity, it should be noted that our town house is three stories. The AC unit is on the back porch, which is accessible only through my bedroom. Apparently ( I know nothing about AC) there is another component of the AC located in the attic, above the third floor master bath. At first all seemed to be fine, until we came home from work that evening. As I walk into my bedroom, ready to unwind after a long Monday, I am greeted by mud tracks through my room. My room has white carpet. Just as I am heading upstairs to tell my roommates, I hear profanities being yelled from the master bath. Both sinks are clogged worse than Paula Dean's arteries and they're filled to the brim with putrid, grey-ish brown water. None of us being very handy, we were stupid enough to think that maybe this was a typical issue that arose with AC repair. We came to our senses the next day when the technician returned to fix this new sink problem (requiring more time off work). When he returned, I asked if he was the same guy from yesterday, to which he said yes. I then confronted him about the mud in my room. He looked me straight in the eye and said that it wasn't him. First bad sign. Then, when asked about what could be wrong with the sinks, he indifferently avoided the question and continued doing so after being asked several more times. At this point it was clear that he had screwed up, causing the sinks to clogs. This happened yesterday and the sinks are still clogged and the AC is lukewarm. My hot water broke on a Saturday. I called Landmark home warranty to file a claim and they assigned Precision Plumbing to do the work. They called on Monday and said they couldn't come out until Wednesday. On Wednesday the plumber, Kyle, comes out, tells us it's the gas valve and they will have to order the part. He also said that they usually recommend flushing the water heater when replacing the part and that it costs $325 and that home warranties usually don't cover it. My husband and I looked up online how to flush the water heater ourself (there is even a DIY post on Landmark's webpage) so we were going to do it ourself. I called Landmark on Friday, two days after Kyle came out and they said that he hadn't even sent Landmark the diagnosis. On Saturday I called and they still didn't have it. I've been without hot water now for seven days. Finally Landmark got ahold of them on Saturday. The plumber told Landmark that the flush was mandatory and we had to pay $325 out of pocket. I told them that this was not what we were told when Kyle came out, he simply said they "recommend it". Landmark called the owner who said that is not true, that they have to flush it. My husband and I decided to get four other opinions from plumbers and we found out that you don't have to flush the water heater to replace the part. I tried calling Precision Plumbing back to see if we could flush it ourselves and they never answered. I called the office at least ten times in the week we worked with them and they only picked up once and told me they would call me back but never did. I even had the owners cell phone number that he never answered. Overall terrible service and I ended up taking the money from Landmark and using a different plumber who did a phenomenal job at a better price. I ended up spending less money out of pocket than if I would have stuck with Precision Plumbing and actually used the warranty. Shame on Landmark for using this plumber. read more

I had a very bad experience with this company. They were contracted via Landmark Home Warranty on Thursday to replace my kitchen water faucet. I received an email notification stating they'd be at my house on Monday from 9 am to 1 pm. I waited but no one showed up so I called them and they reassured me they'd be at my house in 1.5 hours . I waited till 5 pm and no one showed up. They close at 4 pm so I called left them a voicemail. On Tuesday their plumber called me and said he would be at my house by 11 am but he showed up only by 1:30 pm. He looked at the water faucet and said the company would call me back. He left.... No one called me back... I called the company and left a voicemail again. I waited till 5 pm and called Landmark to cancel this request. I still do not have water in my kitchen cause of a broken faucet but I could not handle this unprofessional service/attitude any longer... I'll find another plumber aka Milton Frank Plumbing (used them once last year) and will never deal with Precision Plumbing Service. Save your money! They don't seem to care... read more
