Flagged Content: This would be zero but that's not an option. I went in to drop off my old phone. All that was wrong was it had a broken touch screen. It took calls, recieved text, charged properly, everything was good other than a broken touch screen (the glass wasn't even broken). He told me no problem I will have it done in 30 minutes. I told him I would come back tomorrow and pick it up. Well I came back 2 days later and he gave me my phone and told me the battery wasn't working right I might need to change it out. $75 labor out the door. I go home charge it it doesn't work can't swipe down or no back buttons or home buttons are working (Samsung 4). So I take it back, he says ok no problem I can fix it give your old parts. So I leave it 2 more days. Come back and he's like well got it but I want to charge it up. So I wait an hour or so. He hands it to me with a rubberband and says dont mess with it for an hour until the glue dries. Ok so I take it home let sit all night. Then next day plug it in. It gets really hot after charging for an hour. And has lines going through the screen. I call him and he says ok bring back i will try to reset the program. So i leave it and text and call and show up. He wasn't there (during business hours) he doesn't return text or calls. Finally i go in one day, he says ohhh something is wrong and it can't be fixed. I can "give you a refund or get you another phone that is the same cost as what I paid. Ok cool I wait he gives me a phone I take it to my carrier they say it's not for this carrier. So I go back he tries to tell me they are wrong because he looked it up. Then tries to sell me on an I phone for more money. Not happening just get me a phone that works or get my money back. A day, a couple of days, then a week. And I show up again he's not there at 11:45. Try to call he sends me a text and says he here's the tracking number it hasn't come yet. Ok I look it up it says tried to deliver but could access building ( no one was there). So he says ok I will pick it up.....a day, 2 days, the weekend. Nothing. So then Monday "ohh I have been busy" Tuesday he says I will have your phone at 4p.m. come by. At this point it's been 3 weeks. I go in today and he tells me oh i dont have one that works for you. But you can buy this one instead. Having enough of his stupidity i said forget it give a refund. He tells me "well since we replaced the part and labor cost I'm only giving you 45 back." After an argument on poor business practices he gives me 42 dollars and says well I don't have change so you need to leave while I deal with other customer and I will lock up a d get change. I told him to go eat a dick and give me my money back. Then argument then harassment from his family member (aka drug dealer). Told him I wasn't leaving without at least the money you say now your gonna give me. He calls the cops we have a conversation with them. He sends his family member to get change and he refunds $48 cause apparently that's 45 plus tax. I leave. This is the worst business I have ever been to in my life. If they spent as much time fixing things as they do smoking meth and selling drugs you could have a successful business. I was given the phone number and name and email of the owner. In which the number is for a track phone and no one picks up the phone. Email comes back as no good. And we will see. I will sue you for misleading and malicious damage to my phone. Please make sure unless you need drugs do not walk in this establishment. Ali will make you feel like he knows what he's doing but in reality (per our conversation) he has never been trained formally nor did he ever work on phones professionally before this job. Ali shouldn't be allowed to run a air compressor let alone a "cell phone repair store" I noticed other reviews that say they never give out phone numbers well here its 813-524-7622 . Don't even want to give this place one star. I just wanted make sure anyone even thinking about going to this place to run the other way! I should have read the reviews before going to that place. I was trying to give a local small business a chance. Ali, needs to be fired or definitely trained on how to deal with customers. There is no real organization system there AT ALL. The pics from the other review is no lie. He only writes a persons name down on a sticker. No invoice, or nothing. How do you even know what you are fixing especially when there are devices EVERYWHERE? He will tell you things will take a minute to fix and it doesn't. He will ask you to come back or he will call when it's ready and he doesn't. He will leave out key information that will have you wasting gas and time to keep coming back when in the end he will tell you he can't fix your device. There is no customer service. He will try to refund or give customers change through Cash App. C'mon this is not a side hustle, it's a business. It's not even a real business landline for the number that's on the door it's just a number they use that works through an app. By the way, before someone tries to lie and say this is a fake review IT IS NOT! This is all FACTS. I am not the only one dissatisfied because the multiple times I have been there customers are coming by to get their phones are told either "the phone isn't ready or can't be fixed". My name is Kenneth and a lot of miscommunication happened at your store today regarding my phone. I originally called asking how much it was to repair my iPhone 6s plus and after explaining what was wrong with my phone, your employee proceeded to give me the news I needed to hear. The problem was regarding my touch screen as it was not responding. The employee told me that he would see what he could do and if it did not work that I would not have to pay any money but if it did, then I would. That is reasonable and ethical. When I finally got to the store, he told me it was just a 6 plus and not a 6s plus. I asked him if he could fix it and we carried on. Once the phone was finally ready to be paid for, it was not even working properly. The touch was still messed up and he told me I could try taking it to T mobile before the touch stopped working and try and trade it in which is negligent of a worker to advise that. He proceeded to tell me to pay 70 which I said there was no point since it does not work. I was not going to pay 70 for a phone that does not work. He then took the new screen off and put my old one one, and then he told me it was 35 dollars. I told him that over the phone he said if it did not work that I would get my money back. He then said it was because he thought it was a 6s and it was just a 6 plus. He then told me that he indeed told me about the case in which the phone did not work that I would in fact have to pay. I never heard him once say that and he even went on to say that he would play the audio box for proof. I sat back down while he was putting my old screen back and then I asked him if he could run the audio box which he did not. He said only you could do it so I do not know why he even mentioned it in the first place. Anyways my phone is still with you guys as I was not going to pay money for something that was not fixed. At the end of the day I do have to get my phone back. If you do want to play the audio box I would like that as negligence was present. Sorry for making this a big deal but I feel like I was taken advantage of and hearing the audio may be the only way to justify your worker as he did not tell me that. At the end, the employee kept expressing how all diagnostics are not free yet he offered me a free diagnostic if my phone was a 6s plus. I wish he made it clear to me the way he was when I caught him in a pickle. P.S. Went to go pick up my phone and got to the shop at 10:45 and no one was there when it opens at 10. Called them and they said they changed the opening time to 12. I told them I would wait till they got here and the employee texted me that I would get a discount for the wait which I have all on text message. He never gave me the discount like he promised. Ended up just paying for my phone they did not fix and when I got back home, I noticed the touch I.d did not work anymore. I called and told them of the problem and they gave me steps to take which did not work. The employee told me to come back and that it would be of no charge to check it out but I do not want to take that risk again and now I am left with a part of my phone that does not function when it originally did. read more
