Brought my watch in for a repair at lunch time, my watch had been dead for a week. It was a Hamilton watch I had for almost 10 years. I was ready to replace it with a new one (at the tune of at least $600) and asked for her advice. Maria opened it up to take a look and observed that the mechanism just got dislodged from sudden impact (I did Bike-share commute every day) must be from riding over cobble stoned alleys. She got it fixed within 10 min. as she chatted with me and convinced me that my Hamilton watch is in fact in great condition and they don't make them like that anymore. I asked her how much it costs as I got my wallet out, Maria said it's a simple problem and declined to charge for her service, she did it for free... I insisted and gave her a fair amount, she reluctantly accepted it. She is fantastic and a truly honest human being, I highly recommend her. read more

I have been going to Precision Time for a few years now. A few years ago I took my Tag Heuer to another jeweler, who charged me an arm and a leg, and screwed up the seal so that it fogged up even in the shower. It's supposed to be good to 200 meters. Obviously I am not going to dive to 600+ feet, but it would be nice to have the watch not fog up in the shower like some discount brand watch. Frustrated, I looked around and found Precision Time. The reviews were so good, I took my watch there, and for less the original jeweler charged me, the proprietor cleaned out the moisture, installed a new gasket (the one the other jeweler put in was defective) and put in a new battery. I have been going to PT ever since. Today I needed a new battery. I looked for PT but I had their old address. They were no longer there. It took some surfing to find them again (they had been forced to move by a landlord who wanted the space for something more lucrative). They are no longer at 760 Market, but are now almost across the street at 833 Market. Once again the very nice proprietor put in a new battery, pressure checked the watch and cleaned the band for far less than other jewelers charge. The proprietor is a very nice woman who reminds me of my grandmother. Very warm and welcoming, and very ethical and honest. I am so glad I found her in her new place. I can tell you that you may be more impressed with a jeweler that has a fancy plate-glass store front full of expensive watches, but you simply will not get better service and repair than at Precision Time. read more

Went to have the battery replaced in my watch. The building is just next door to Westfield San Francisco Centre. Great customer service. Would definitely go there again when in need of watch repair. I paid $20 and left with my watch on my arm telling the correct time. read more
