STEER CLEAR! This place is a complete nightmare. My dad went in there today to get my breaks fixed, and the Indian lady at the front desk was completely uneducated and unprofessional! She was trying to charge me way more than what the manager quoted me; and even after she was corrected by her associate she still insisted on having terrible customer service. As if that wasn't enough, she proceeded to throw my keys and receipt at my dad! Absolute nightmare. We will never step foot in there again, and I advise you to not waste your time. Dont even think about bringing your vehicle here. It seems to me these guys really don't know what the hell they're talking about sometimes. I got my rear brakes replaced here without getting the rotors done because they had informed me that the rotors were in good condition. My car would still noticeably vibrate in the rear while applying the brakes. I brought it back a week or two later and they insisted my rotors were in good shape. Rotors and brakes should be replaced together when either of them go bad. Replacing brake pads on bad rotors can cause new pads to wear unevenly. That's just general mechanic knowledge. I went ahead and had the rotors replaced anyways and guess what! No more vibration! They insisted it was the tires. These guys are a bigger joke than Donald trump in office. By the way, it's been over a month and my brake pads still squeak. I don't know if the new pads that were put on wore out unevenly due to the old rotors I drove on for a few weeks but I will not be bringing my business back here any longer. read more

I brought my car in to get my air conditioner fixed because I seen a ad on the highway that they specialize in air conditioner. I was told I needed a diagnostic to figure out the problem. Which I pay for. They gave me my car back and my air was not fixed. I returned it to them and they tinker with it for 2 hours and said I need some parts repaired...possible and it can cost up to $1000. read more

UPDATE: Well to my horrible surprise a few weeks after the oil change! My front newer right tire was replaced with a bald tire of a different brand. My car is newer and had 4 very good matching tires. I only went here for an oil change. Beware and just stay away. You have been warned. ORIGINAL: Came for a synthetic oil change. They don't offer coffee or tea. The public wifi was down. The owner did let us use another. The service is very, very slow and several disgruntled customers were in today. The teen receptionist announced she wouldn't be back again. They claim not to know their own service specials. You have to pull up the online coupons/specials and show it to them anytime you want to use one. I will just use Walmart for future oil changes. This is a last time visit. I really miss the one in Durham, NC. They put the bar very high. Two PT shops in GA so far have been terribly disappointing. read more

I had my brakes done here about nine months ago. I had a coupon and when I presented the coupon the front desk person stated, "those are for the cheap brakes and they aren't very good". I asked her why would you sell them at all if that were the case. She then said, "well I guess they are ok". I had the work done, but not without the mechanic giving me a quote of about 500.00 worth of additional work that needed to be done immediately. I declined. Today, my car started making a noise and I thought it may be the brakes so I took it in and they quoted me 450.00 for service for cylinder repairs etc. The mechanic said you should get the high quality brakes next time as he saw in the system that I had chosen the less expensive kind. I reminded him that my vehicle was eleven years old and I didn't want to spend double on repairs for a vehicle that I probably wont have much longer. The problem with the vehicle had nothing to do with the brakes. I called pep boys and they quoted me 200.00. I'm at pep boys now. My total after tax plus I got wiper blades was 218.20. The service was flawless. Point: Service and pricing are not so great. They try to up sell you on everything. I will not use Precision Tune again. read more

I'll start off by saying I don't do this but the lack of professionalism from one particular individual at this shop compelled me. The ugly fat woman working at the front desk is a C U Next Tuesday. I have been getting serviced by this company for yearsssss until a few days ago. I needed my 2 back tires replaced and had some free time before going into work. I called ahead and asked if there was a long wait. A lady picked up the phone, I gave her my tire size and she said no. Mind you, my free time had a two hour window. I get there. Her ugly ass sitting at the desk on her phone while I stood there 10 minutes just waiting for her incompetence to end. I give them my keys and sit down. I start noticing that ppl coming in after me are leaving before me so an hour and 50 minutes go by and my service has yet to be completed. I go to the desk to ask the mechanic how much longer and he says the lady who picked up the phone went to go get the tires because they didn't have them at the shop. Now this is where I get real irritated because why the FVCK wasn't that communicated to me after I've already stated I'm on a time crunch and have already been sitting here 2 hours. Also 2 hours is a fair ass window. At this point, my boss is blowing up my phone asking where I'm at. I calmly ask for my keys back informing them that had I known, I would've came back another time. So I ask for my keys back, and they've already taken my bad tires off so now that's more time. Soon as they start doing that guess who pull up with my tires? At this point I'm late and pissed and don't even want the new tires. Now the manager comes out and says it's ok we'll do it now and he's not listening when I tell him I'm already 10 min late for work. And now I'm mad. They go to put the new tires on anyway and the fat b!tch who works the front desk starts talking to me with her bullshit excuses and I started calm but this fvcking bitch kept making excuses so I got mad and yes my voice elevated because when you're already late for work, been lied to, you get frustrated. But here's the thing, this b!tch really started arguing with me in the shop in front of other customers. How do you have the audacity to argue when you're in the wrong????? She really tried to say I didn't mention a time frame when that was literally the first thing I asked on the phone. Incompetence must also make you an invalid. Which made me even more pissed because I also work in customer service and instead of taking accountability in this situation this non professional no business sense botched cow wanted to argue instead. The only reason this shop is getting 2 stars instead of one is because the manager compromised on the price but my terrible experience and that rude ass cow outweighed that. Would not recommend ever. Very bad. They're the ones who fucked up, lied, didn't communicate, didn't take accountability, no apology other than a "these things happen".......then asking stupid questions like why are you yelling.......because now I am late for work and will be penalized due to someone else's incompetence. One of the cheapest prices I have seen for an oil change! They also were significantly cheaper for replacing my engine air filter, even cheaper than buying the part myself and replacing it. I went to auto zone and got my service engine light checked before I took it to Precision tune auto care on Jimmy Carter Blvd. I just recently replaced my Cadillac converter but he tells me that my Cadillac converter code and 3 different other codes came on. I told him that wasn't true. Then noticed they have a Cadillac converter shop right next door. Also come to find out the person who referred me to them also has a bad Cadillac converter. Plus they over charge way to much for everything. I know a very good mechanic right up the street on Buford hwy. Earnest Auto Repair. He does a great job always with very great prices. Terrible service, The customer service was good so I thought the work would be also. Well they looked at my car and after 30 minutes of inspection they told me what would need to be done and how much it would cost. So I brought it back to have the work done and suddenly the work that needed to be done changed and they said I would need these other parts so the price went up and I would only be able to get half the work done. Then they came back and said we didn't need to use the other part so for the same new price quoted I could get both sides done. When they finished the older man was to drive it to be sure is was good. But he backed out to fast and ran over the concrete piece and into the ditch on the other side of the lot. When they finally got the car out he then drove the passenger side wheel over the curb. Now they have to keep my car to fix the damages for 2 days and there are no buses out here so I'm stranded at home. I go today to pick it up and there are black spots on the rear bumper where paint is missing, and the price has gone up $288. He claims when he did the work there was a hub they had to put on that he had originally told me if it were needed I would not have to pay for it. So now you change your prices on me, almost reck my car, you don't offer me a loner car and I have to pay more? Suddenly the good customer service went out the window and he had to go because his granddaughter was sick. Really? where is her mother? This is not how you run a business. I will never go there again. I know mistakes happen but you are to take care of them, not charge the client more money and suddenly you have to leave. read more

Dropped my 1999 Toyota Tacoma off for an oil change. The receptionist was very friendly as were the techs. Here is where it starts to go downhill. I'm a bit experienced when it comes to basic auto repair and maintenance. This is the first (and probably the last) time I've ever taken a car to be serviced instead of doing it myself. I left for a few minutes to go to ACE Hardware across the street, when I returned I saw my truck sitting in the parking lot and was very pleased with the short service time. I soon found out why it was so quick. When I went inside to pay for my oil change the young lady at the counter informed me that my oil plug was striped. I found this interesting since I was the one who did the last two oil changes and I am sure it wasn't striped when I brought it in. I was then informed that they would not be able to warranty the oil change. Frustrated, I walked to my truck to find it dripping oil in the parking lot. When I looked under the truck I discovered the drain plug driven in about 1/3 of the way and visibly crooked. I found it interesting that when I was informed about the drain plug being striped that they didn't even try or offer to fix it. Seemed like they just wanted me to leave. I continued to look under my truck and found an oil soaked shop rag. I brought it back to the tech who I suppose worked on my truck who definitely had what I like to call a "could give a shit" attitude. He told me to just drop it on the floor. At this point I am pretty frustrated and went back to my truck to do a complete inspection of the work. I then found my old used oil filter (full of oil) sitting on my skid plate. This was the last straw for me. I dug the filter out and brought it back to the shop where I was met by another tech who asked if there was a problem. I explained the situation and he quickly brought my truck back in and put it back up on the rack. He was great, as was the shop foreman. I am a manager myself and understand having to deal with employees that are somewhat below par. The two gentlemen took good care of me and I appreciate it. This is a very simple oil change and I disappointed with the lack of care given to my truck by the first tech. But after that everyone was great, even when I had to bring the truck back due to the continued oil leak. All and all not too bad. Good problem resolution and customer care. I have never been more dissappointed then I have now! My husband and I always change our oil here. About 2 1/2 weeks ago from this date on saturday. I took my car into get service(oil change) and after everything when they were done. They came out and said they recommending me getting some new tires. Mines were pretty warn out knew it coming. And so i ask for prices. He said he got good year tire and I was like will they have the wording on it, he said yes yes yes repeatly! And my husband is the type if you say thats what the tire are thats what we want, my husband dont care about last minute change. So he told us the prices were 400$ for all 4 with putting them on! I promise on everything thats what he said so we went ahead and put 300$ down he said for sure he will get the tires in.. Basically within those 2 1/2 weeks, we got the, they dont have it this and this from him. We are frustrated! So today i came in to see whats going on told him my last day would be Monday the 13, 2016 and he said he will call, he never called! So i came in this morning before work, and the way he spoke to me in his tone of voice, made it seem as if i understood wrong! My husband was there we confirm it! Many times! The owner never saw no wrong on how long we wait instead he said i told you am willing to give you your money like i told you on saturday! This is not the fucking point, my point is if you "promise" me something I go on your word sinces you are the one that said that 2 1/2 weeks ago! We waited a long time only because you was good to us in the beginning, not only this he tried to give us these other brands and when i look them up they were like 40-50$ a tire he thinks am stupid now, and then today he tried up selling me, why in the fuck would i have to pay more when you didnt keep your promise in the beginning. If you plan on buying tires from here please get it in writing cause i promise you he will twist your words! I was not trying to make a scene only because he had other clients there, but i will not return here to get any more of my oil change. VERY DISSAPPIONTED WE WAS LIED TO. $20 oil & filter change was so so. Staff is nice and informative but service (I was waiting) took an hour to complete and when car was given back it had multiple oily hand prints on my white paint and interior smelled like cigarette smoke because techs can be seen smoking while working from the lobby window. read more

I went to this location because it was close the Chuck E Cheese. I am a single mom in transition with her two small children. I thought it would be best to go to branded auto shop for a basic oil change and tune-up. I was upsold on a part that wasn't immediately important and when I declined and ask to them to hold off until I have more money, I was met with a retort as if I didn't believe them. I explained to the wife of the ower that I did not doubt her but I was already almost 15$ over budget from what I was quoted over the phone by her husband. (note, he has a fake Hispanic accent that he does well. they owners are actually south Asian, sad that business people have to do that to cope) I went to the nearby Walmart to get my child diapers and then feed the children... right after pulling out on to the main roadway and I was pulled over for a dead break light!?!?! what? now, this is the 2nd time this has happened to me in the past 7 months. So I think it is safe to say that if you do not buy their upgrades, they will ensure you spend your money on tickets. They are dangerous people or they have vindictive resentful underpaid people working for them. Be forewarned and just don't use the franchise at all. read more

So I needed an oil change and since the usual mechanic I go to isn't open on Saturdays- I thought I would just swing by this place to get a quick oil change as I knew my car was in good shape otherwise. The place was empty but I told the guy I would be back to pick it up as my boyfriend and I were going to run some errands in the area. He quickly used the fact that I was going to leave my car there for some time as an opportunity to give me a "free" brake inspection. About an hour later I get a call from a very robot-sounding receptionist saying that I needed new brake pads bc they were less than 5%, a brake fluid flush, and that I needed my rear brakes cleaned and adjusted. Because the owner seemed so shady as soon as I told him I'd be back to pick up the vehicle I decided I would wait and get a second opinion from my usual mechanic. Turns out- the owner at Precision Tune Auto is a LIAR and my brakes are fine- in fact they have more than half their life!! So glad I waited and took my car to my usual, trusting mechanic! Never again will I visit this place- they did do the oil change but they didn't fix the rubber tubing that had come loose on the front of my car that I asked them to (it just needed a screw) I guess they didn't want to do that since I refused to let them to fix my completely fine brakes!! don't go there!! read more
