Then another friend used them so gave them a try. I feel like Chris is a mechanic you can trust. Just seems like a no frills kind of guy who does his work. He said he opened the shop in the late 90s with his dad but now he just works it himself. I don't think he gets super busy but always has a steady flow of work. For example, I called about 5 days before to get my 4 brake pads replaced. I brought it in at 8am and picked it up by 11:15am. It was $170 for set so $340 flat (taxes included) for genuine Honda brake pads. I know Curry Honda does it for $190 a set so it's a slight discount but I know I won't have to wait forever. I do wish I could have gotten a shuttle. I had to walk 45 mins each way for pick up but good exercise I suppose. The store can benefit from a more visible sign but maybe he doesn't want that. It doesn't look like much but he does excellent work and is reliable.

The issue here was what I was quoted for on repairs. Extremely expensive... for example my A/C was not working as there was a leak in the condenser. They quoted me $849.35 to repair the A/C, replace condenser, relay, and charge air conditioning system. I fixed the A/C for less than $80... bought a condenser for $25 and the charge for the A/C for less than like $15 and i was able to replace the condenser in less than 3 hours... They never worked on my car so I can't speak on what they are capable of but in terms of trust. I would be careful and get second opinions.
