Without an appointment, it look about an hour. More than 30+ minutes of it was me staring at the car wondering when it would be taken into the shop. But everything was smooth as my visit was a typical tire rotation. The shop buzzed with so many people coming and going so I expected to wait a little despite them telling me it wouldn't take too long. I truly love Discount Tire's customer service and tire warranty. It just makes my life so much easier since I am that person who gets nails and screws stuck in my tire every so often. It's expensive, but they seem to do good work. It was easy to get in during the week, but I hear that their weekends are a nightmare.

These ppl know absolutely nothing about cars. They take their little scan device out to your car and scan your tires and let the computer decide what they can and can't do. Refuse to do tire patches because the scan device said so and refuse to put on tires you bring yourself because they're not in their system. Never even had someone who actually works on the car look at the car. All this was decided by their little scan device. I guess the computer was going to put my tires and that's why it got to make the decisions. read more

I took my car here to get Pirelli's that Discount price matched. The customer service their said they were not in stock in the entire state but did not offer me a comparable tire fir the same price. Basically I got the impression your out of luck. I was able to order them at another location (Johns creek) but this location needs to learn the customer satisfaction is the bottom line in business. read more

We were in town to watch the Copa America opening match and during our drive down to Atlanta from Michigan, we noticed that the front passenger tire kept losing pressure. We had a little time to kill before heading downtown so we decided to stop in to add some air to the tire. When we were approached by the associate and we explained our situation, he immediately took initiative and offered to have the tire checked out. I cannot remember ever being impressed with customer service from start to finish at a tire store... until today at the Duluth location of Discount Tire. It started with scheduling an easy online appointment, including confirmation and reminder text/email. The customer area is clean, comfortable and uncluttered. There is a large window where you can watch what is going on in the shop. I was greeted in a friendly way, including an apology for a short wait in line. My questions were answered and options explained in a clear, professional and easy to understand way. I relaxed in the waiting area watching my car being worked on and received a text that my car was ready just before it was backed out of the shop. It was parked at the door as I was coming out and I was greeted by the person that moved it out who offered to answer any questions I might have. While inspecting the car before driving away, I was asked if everything was ok and was offered to have some residual lubricant cleaned of my tires. I did some research on prices at tirerack, costco and discount tire to see which deal was the best.. Also two of my friends referred me to this place.. I had to read up a bit on the TPMS rebuild kits and the certificates which Discount tire offered. I was shown what they are and they showed me how corrosion had set it on those TPMS stems on my car which is about 5 years old now.. So I decided to take the TPMS kits.. I was offered a better package on those than what was initially quoted.. The certificates were a good deal to me as it was like an insurance.. You never know when you need it.. it seemed like a bargain with the amount of tire blowouts and treads I have seen on the roadsides/freeways in GA... They matched the price from the tirerack which included shipping which was a fair deal. Kept talking more and got a little more discounts :-) Now wonder they are called "Discount tire". They just explained to the elderly gentleman who came in right behind me that he last came in here only a few hundred miles ago and didn't need another oil change and tire rotation. All I can say is WOW! I had my car towed here today for a 12 pm appointment. I ended up arriving 30 minutes early and was warmly greeted by Ryan. I was prepared to wait a few hours given the fact that I made a same day appointment and arrived early. He assured me that he would do his best to get me out of there as soon as possible and took care of my paperwork right away. When I tell you that I was out of there by 12:15, I'm not exaggerating at all. Discount tires does it all. Originally I got tires installed in Knoxville, knowing that I was coming down to do some other car maintenance... We came here for the balance and tire rotation. And as usual, Discount Tire did not fail. All they needed to know was my phone number and that was it. They were all good with the tire rotation and balance. Instead of doing it at Toyota, this place can do it for free if you bought the tires there (or got them installed at any Discount Tire Store). This place had great customer service and I'm sure that if we ever come back down here and need some tire work along with the other car work we'll be visiting this place to get the tire work done. Great guys over there! When I lived on the other side of town, I went to a different Discount Tires because I had a slow leak. I called and they agreed to stay open a few minutes longer and fill up my tire and checked the others without charge or fuss. Gotta love that type of customer service! It was a simple but appreciated thing, so when I had new issues with my tires on our two cars, I knew what chain I wanted to go to. They were fast with their service. They have workers on a revolving door. They help one and immediately move to the other. They were friendly and professional and addressed my questions professionally. They price match (they matched NTB) so I got a new set of Yokohamas for a good price. Costco does offer the free tire warranty whereas you have to pay about $20/tire at Discount. Other than that I feel the prices are pretty similar to Costco and the installation isn't too much higher. They match it in other ways. Mainly the free warranty is Costco's upside. The owner/manager is a Korean guy who speaks a little Korean. I saw him trying with the many Korean customers. He does know the customs so I think the Korean customers appreciate that. The interior has about 15 or so seats spread out. The only downside I would say address is the lack of WiFi. It's just something you gotta have in waiting rooms now. It took exactly the hour I was quoted for a new set of tires so I was pleased with that. I brought my car into Discount Tires in Steve Reynolds yesterday because I had a slow leak flat in the back drivers side. I decided to replace both back tires since other one was also starting to wear out. Some how there was a misunderstanding and they replaced the two good front tires and rotated it to the back installing the flat and worn out back tires on in the front. I took it back to the store this morning and they fixed their mistakes and replaced the front ones immediately. I am more than satisficed with their response and service. Top notch service, daughters tire had a nail sticking out, and tire was very low. Upon arrival they pulled the vehicle in the bay and within a few minutes informed us she had three nails in the same tire. They repaired the tire, balance all four and gave recommendation on the wear of all four tires. FREE OF CHARGE!!! Who does that anymore??? These days gas stations charge $2.50 for 5 minutes of air. Dude.. I dont know where to start with this place. It was like magic when I came here. Let me give a long run down though - I purchased a car from NY back on September (Infiniti). Every now and again the low tire pressure light comes on. then finally during the fall - It came on every few days and I realized something was actually seriously wrong (I just didnt want to deal) The previous owner had gone to pep boys to get the tires, they were only about 2 years old. He had a warranty so I go to pep boys in johns creek and LOL they were soooooo rude and horrible. Told me 100 times that the ownership doesnt transfer with the warranty. Pitiful - clearly only after a paycheck. They were charging me $150 just to LOOK at it. I said no - and I left. Then I went the Infiniti dealership in Duluth. They were very kind and courteous. Told me what was wrong with my tires (that the adhesive was applied incorrectly -- (this was wrong btw) and they would re-do this for $130) I said I will come back because I had to go back to work, which was true but I also wanted a second opinion. I go to discount tires on a whim and WOW they were the friendliest people I had dealt with. Also they are good about letting you know if there is a long wait or if you should come back and will schedule real time appointments. They do a FREE (100% free) tire inspection so they took off each of my tires ALL 4 and put them in a tank of water to see where the air was coming from. They found what the people at Infiniti didn't find - the air was leaking from the valves. Then they took the tires off the wheels and there was a 1inch layer of straight GUNK - salt, oil, you name it - from being in NY. They sanded all of that off and everything was in place. So they replaced 2 valves and sanded all my wheels. The whole process took about 1.5 hours. I think I paid $120 or so for the service and my light hasn't come on in TWO MONTHS. I waited to write this so I would know for sure they fixed the problem. I am so beyond satisfied with them. Oh, and the mechanic let me stand back there and watch because he could tell I was wary about getting ripped off. I will be back for any tired needs. Seriously im in shock by how great everyone was here. I haven experienced amazing service like this in ages. read more

I caught a flat tire and brought it to them to be replaced with a band new rim. I purchased 2 tires one to go on the car and one as a spare. They then took two if my tires instead of one and sold me 2 bad tires and charged me for my rim that they never replaced. I paid 400.00 and thought everything was fine and under warranty . Was not able to get it replaced by them because apparently it wasn't under warranty even though I was told it was included in the price. I eventually went elsewhere to get my tires and rims done the right way but STOP taking advantage of women we don't have money to waste. I will never go back. read more

I came by Discount Tire to order tires, they were able to provide me with match price as well as manufacture discount for the treads. They informed me the tires would need to be ordered. I put a deposit down and made an appointment 2 weeks out. I had to change my appointment this morning due to other obligations, but found out I had a flat tire. Guess the world really wanted me to have my tires changed today. I called and told the associate I had an appointment, but found out I had a flat. They said they did not have any appointment slots available, but would be able to squeeze me in when I mentioned the flat tire. I came within 15 minutes of my phone call and it was already 3pm. They close at 5pm. The store was full of customers and the bay was filled with cars. Tim, the manager, greeted me and was of great help. He was able to put me on the schedule, but did say it could take 3 hours. I planned to be in the area anyways and had no problems with waiting as they're doing me a huge favor. I didn't receive a call that my care was ready so I came back around 4:45pm, but my tires weren't replaced yet. No worries. It's cold outside, but they're working overtime as I type this review and still helping a bunch of people replace their tires. I also informed Tim that I was hoping to get my sensors replaced, but was willing to come back during my appointment time next week. He said that it would only take a few minutes and would not be an issue. The staff members are working diligently to help all the customers and I appreciate it! The complimentary tire pressure check service is so convenient. The guys are always really friendly, and I know it isnt required but I always try to tip them a little something. I can't really speak to whether I got "the best deal" or not, but I think they were very fair. It's hard to price tires because of all the size/brand/etc. mishmash, so since the price didn't make me choke, I just went for it. I actually told the assistant manager that I wanted 4 new tires, and he said I only REALLY needed 3 - so they gave me a "trade-in" value for the 4th, because I just figured I might as well get all new ones if I need 3. Also, I told the guy that due to the nature of my tire woes, I thought my wheel might be jacked up - thereby basically giving him a free pass to inspect it and say "Yep, it's jacked. That'll be $X to repair." But he said it was fine. Waiting area was nice enough - no tv, but a few magazines, and one of those coffee makers that makes individual cups from pods (which I love!). And there's a Kroger and a nail place in the same parking lot if you need something to do. Even if I didn't like the place, I'd pretty much have to go back now, since lifetime tire rotation, repair, and replacement are covered, and ain't no way I'm payin' for any of that shit out of pocket. Bought new tires about two weeks ago - very quick service. Noticed my tire pressure light came on but I got stuck at the office and didn't get to discount tire until 10 minutes before closing. They offered to check my tire pressure and advised that I make an appointment for the next day - totally fine since I came in at the last minute.
