From the moment I called there was great customer service. All of my questions were answered. I had to call back, no one answered but then I received a call back with an apology for missing my call. I needed brakes, rotors and tires. The price was better than expected and the best of all when compared to the other companies I called. Brought my brand new 2019 Hyundai Sonata here for a basic oil change.. Customer service here was the worst I've ever experienced!!! Not only did they give me an attitude about having a coupon.. They put the wrong oil in my car and over inflated my tires.. After the "oil change".. my car was running rough, jerking, and wreaked of engine oil.. Eventually I had to take it to the dealer to see what was wrong.. As you can see from the pictures.. they never replaced the oil cap, causing oil to spill and leak all over the engine bay costing me $125 to have it cleaned and replaced with the correct oil in the car.. This place is a scam I wish I had read the reviews before I go , simple scenario went for an inspection 37$ with a preowned mint condition 35000 miles Kia car out of the dealer , results : you have bulbs out , wipers needs to change , and the big surprise an axle on the right side have slight signs of grease coming out of the neck of the axle .. HE FAILED MY INSPECTION ... asking for 500$ to fix it .. - I refused to do it - went to mavis discount cross the street to check that and guess what they said that's so normal no problem .wipers are so so . All bulbs are all okay . - I felt a little bit better as I was going nuts and getting ready for a big fight with my dealer . - Went to my mechanic he check it out and said also no problem . - Went to another place for redoing as my mechanic didn't have inspection station with only wipers changes . This places is such a scam. I have a lifetime alignment on my car. However, every time I go in for an alignment they ALWAYS say that I need to do at least one thousand dollars of repair on my car before they can do it. They always have a reason why they can't do it. I called them today to see if I can get one done. Told them that I'm traveling and that I just got new tires. I got there as soon as I can and when I got there surprise surprise they can't do it. So my boyfriend went to Premier on 8/5/20 because his a/c wasn't working. The part (fuse box) was supposedly ordered from a Ford dealer on the same day. They said 3-5 business days for the fuse box to arrive. Then Jon & Kenneth said the part was on back order. Elliot had to pay J & K $1,029.49 up front because the part wasn't refundable. So they covered their own asses by asking for the money. Elliot is still waiting for the part . Every time that El called them & they replied they will call Ford & call him back. This never happened. So El contact Bank of America & they contacted Premier & it was only after that time Jon called El to say he got a refurbished fuse box. He said he could put it in today. Elliot said NO. So they are crooks & liars. I have been using them since 2016. I thought they were good - pricey but good. I also thought they were honest . So w/all this said, I will never ever use them again. My boyfriend usually deals w/ Tom's Ford In Keyport, NJ but that day Keansburg had no power. So we figured we would give Premier a break & let them figure out what was wrong w/the a/c & let them repair it. Obviously, that was a huge mistake. Also, my boyfriend called Pep Boys to see how much this fuse box is - they told him it's a universal fuse box & a new one is $300. I went there for inspection because it was close to me during that time and no long wait. During the inspection, I saw unusual check on my car. After the inspect the car tell me tons of problems and need to fix it to pass the inspection. Before I went in, I checked my mechanic and everything ok on that age of my car. I refused to do whatever they said and paid the inspection fee to got my car back. Hour later went to other shop for inspect. Passed the inspection and tell me the same as my mechanic told me. I don't like to write bad reviews but I was cheated and disrespected by the manager at this establishment. I went for an oil change. Unfortunately, the new oil filter fell off while I was driving. This caused all the oil to spill immediately, possibly causing significant damage to my engine. Other mechanics and friends who are auto engineers agree that the cause was most likely from the oil change I had just gotten. I went in to talk to the manager and he was rude, disrespectful and condescending. He told me that I should go because I was wasting his time (never mind my time and the $$$ I had to spend when my car died at 2am in the middle of the high way). What I learned from this experience is that NAPA certification for this establishment means nothing since oil changes are not under warranty. I should have paid the $10 extra to have my oil changed at a more reputable shop. read more

This place is terrible, I went in for photo inspection last week and they told me I need a appointment for that. Fine, I made a appointment with them a week later. So I went in today (rainy day), then they told me they can't do it in the rain and asked me to come back another time. Real Scam! I brought my car in because it was having a vibration problem from one of the tires on the highway. He told me he would check it out and give me a call back with the diagnosis. He called me and told me all my brakes needed replacing and he only changes the brake pads with new rotors. He does not just change the brake pads. He also said my control arms, all shocks, and all tires needed changing. He ran the bill up to $2,700. When I told him that I changed most of the things he mentioned within the last year. He then told me If you do not want anything done, I will have to pay him $250. I asked him for what? all I wanted you to do is just check a tire. He said I charge 125 and hour and it took us 2 hours to check everything. What a scam. He did nothing. All I asked him to do was to check the tires. He got really rude when I asked for the car back. He said he will bring the car off the lift after I pay him (for nothing). I then went to A&J's tires, they looked at the tires and replace only one with a screw in it ($65). First I had to wait outside for 45 mins , and all I need was inspection for the car , my car has tinted windows so I didn't know u can't pass if you do have tinted windows, so they take my car inside and start all inspection and after he done with everything the guy said everything is good except the tinted windows,,, so I was like why u didn't tell me that from the beginning I will have it figured out and not waste my time and do anything,,, not only that plus taking the old sticker off window shield without my permission and charging me $37 so he did all of that for the money instead saying from the beginning I can't do it bec the tented windows, and guess what !!! The owner car is outside bmw 5 series and it has very dark tented windows and of course nice inspection sticker on it , In same time their was old couple I think they was family or friends the car didn't go at all inside for inspection they just grab the registration and guy came out with sticker and put it on smh, it was Hyundai Elentra , very simple if u doing everything by the book make sure you the first one right and do exceptions smfh !!!! read more

TERRIBLE! Don't be fooled by the FAKE reviews on Google! I had got in a car accident up the street and ended up using the for convenience. He really pushes for insurance $ and now I know why-He's a scam. Got my Mazda 3 fixed with him and he promises me the "best quality." Should have known he was liar from day 1 when someone almost kicked his ass for his lack of quality job on his car. When we had mix up between the insurance co, he called me 5x a day threatening that he was going to start charging me when the agent wouldn't get back to him according to his time. I visited him multiple times and he would never be available yet he would ask me to come down repeatedly to the shop. Wtf? The best is when I finally got my car back and the misery was over, only find out that the paint started chipping two weeks later. Are we serious?! He took $4,000 in insurance money. He's a scam. Saw this place and went in. Was told they would check tire and plug if possible and if not would sell me one. Super Reliable & Very Fair Pricing In late 2016 I purchased a 2001 vehicle with lot's of miles on it, just to get around locally (Home Depot, dog parks, etc.) and brought it into Ken and John at Premier after an unfortunate experience at a competing repair shop on SI. The service, advice, and general friendly demeanor of Ken, his son, and every member of the crew has been outstanding. Look, keeping a 2001 Nissan with 118,000 miles on it running reliably and safely can be an expensive undertaking but after replacing just about everything the prior owner neglected (timing belt, water pump, heater hoses, rusted shocks, brakes, muffler, rusted out gas tank, etc) Ken and John have this truck running like a clock! I just came back from a 250 mile round trip (125K on the truck now) with my wife, daughter and dog and i felt extremely confident every mile of my trip; i even let go of the wheel at one point to show off how pin-straight the alignment and ride were (don't tell NJ HiWay it was at 75 mph...). Previously, our 21 year old son took the truck to Philadelphia to meet friends and after candidly asking Ken and John whether they'd put their teenager in the car for a long trip on a cold night, our 19 year old daughter drove it up to and back from Hamden, CT all w/o issue.
