We hired Premier for setup, catering, food, bar, and breakdown for our July 2, 2022 wedding at Olio in Peabody. Melissa at Premier was wonderful throughout the planning process and helped calm my nerves and find solutions when I was feeling stressed. The service staff was very friendly and on point from set up to service to clean up. Premier was able to set up the space exactly how I envisioned. While the wedding planning process was stressful and a lot of work, Melissa consistently made me feel at ease and had a solution for every question or obstacle. I was on the fence about having a buffet, but the food service moved quickly and efficiently so no guests were waiting for too long. When we ran out of popular high noons at the bar, Premier staff went to the liquor store twice to restock. I am an amateur mixologist who is very particular in designing a custom cocktail for our wedding and Rachel was by far the most accepting, helpful and resourceful person to work with! She was able to work with us on what we'd supply, what they'd find, what was the most effective cost wise and provided us with great cocktail mixing bar tenders! They did a wonderful job with our unique and not common cocktail and helped us decide wether to go free or paid for the bar! After taking a look at their different menu options, we decided they were the best choice and we're so happy we made that decision! I was really excited when I found Premier online, especially after reading all of these positive reviews. Unfortunately, I didn't have the same experience as other reviewers. I found the Sales Manager I worked with to be dismissive, unresponsive, and rude at times. My event was a smaller one, so it could just be that this company prioritizes larger, more lucrative events. Either way, the manager I worked with wasn't particularly responsive to my needs or requests - I felt like I was annoying her each time I asked for something, and I had to fight to get the liquors and wines that I wanted at the event (despite the disclaimers all over their website and liquor list promising to "work with you" to fulfill your off-menu needs). It's also worth noting that the moment Premier received payment for their services, they stopped responding to me. When I called the morning of the event for assistance because the liquor delivery had arrived early before the bartenders, my call was ignored. Post-event, I needed to discuss an unresolved issue. I had to repeatedly reach out over a period of 4 weeks before my event manager finally responded to me. I will say that the bartenders for our event, as well as the delivery men from Gordon's Liquors, were excellent, helpful, and professional. It's a shame that I can't say the same for the sales manager that I worked with. read more

They absolutely killed it on our wedding day in the summer of 2022 (backyard wedding). They provided us with bartenders, day-of coordination, coffee/water station, ice, bar equipment, PA system, trash removal. Bartenders: Julia and Kathy were a delight. Many of our guests ended up knowing them by name and kept remarking on how fun they were. We had 4 different signature cocktails (in addition to the various beer/wine/non-alcoholic selections), and they mixed them so well that we ran out of a few of them! They even helped with other aspects of the event (put tablecloths on tables, signaled participants to come down the aisle, etc). Day-of Coordinator: Liz was phenomenal. Many of the wedding planners we met with were balls of stress, insinuating that unless we had someone like them scrutinizing every aspect of our event, the result would be catastrophic. Liz was different. She gave us confidence that if and when something went wrong, she would roll with the punches and take action. She was positive, responsive, and most importantly, calm. In the months leading up to the wedding, she answered all of our questions and gave us great advice. I've been to other weddings where the wedding planner(s) looked so stressed that it made me think something had gone horribly wrong (it gives you an uneasy feeling akin to when the host of a house party is visibly worried whether people are having fun). Liz on the other hand was calmly gliding around and getting things done, whether it was setting up the PA system, laying out the catering, reconfiguring furniture, cleaning up, or triggering the "walk down the aisle" music. My wife and I were truly blown away by how perfectly everything went. We would choose Premier Bar Services all over again. read more

We cannot speak highly enough of Bill, Nikki and Molly. They were each fantastic! I knew (hoped!) they'd be helpful with serving our guests and helping to clear things away, but they took on so much more. Nikki and Molly came right in, started chopping up garnishes for our cocktails and soups and getting everything on platters and ready to go. We had purchased the pieces of a charcuterie board, but it was not assembled; they put everything together on the large board we provided along with little slate signs to label the cheeses and meats. when they were done, it looked like a fancy restaurant had put it together. We were all in awe, and it may be one of the only things we managed to take pictures of! I gave them very basic instructions - a list of food with approximate timing and a quick point as to where various supplies were - and they just ran with the rest. They figured it all out on their own, and I barely felt the need to check on them. Bill - what a wonderful man! My husband showed him what we'd already put out, and he turned it into a professional production. Set everything up on our picnic table, stayed outside in the pouring rain to get ready and very quickly mastered our signature cocktail. (In fact, his version was ten times better than my sample!) Within minutes, he knew all of our names; once the party started, he knew everyone's preferred drink! When he wasn't busy, he went around clearing plates from the tables. What a treasure! I don't think I would have enjoyed our party nearly as much as I did were it not for the amazing people you sent us. Kudos to them, and thank you to you. Once they showed up and we saw how very professional they all were, we all relaxed right away. It was a dream how smoothly everything ran - and a miracle how little clean up was necessary when they left, especially considering the party ran for another 3 or 4 hours! We used Premier for our wedding for bartending services, staffing for a buffet dinner as well as setup/takedown and rentals, and they were amazing! John Williams was our event manager and he was incredible. From our initial walk-through of the space, John and Ed thought of every little detail and helped us plan out what the event would look like, and were very responsive via email to every question we had. Due to the timing of our ceremony, we were not able to help set up, so sent detailed information to John about our vision. He and his team made our reception venue look absolutely gorgeous (much better than we could have done ourselves!) and managed all of our deliveries and other vendors flawlessly. During the reception, John consistently made sure that my husband and I had food to eat, any drinks and water that we needed, and was there to help any time I was looking for something/needed help. On top of being extremely professional, John was very friendly and truly seemed to care about making sure we had a great time. If there were any hitches in the night, we never heard about them - everything ran exactly as planned and we were able to enjoy the event immensely without worrying about a thing. We were so impressed with the team's professionalism and kindness and the night was so smoothly run and perfect. We got many compliments on how they set up the room and the reception as a whole! We were providing our own alcohol for the event, and Rachel was extremely helpful in calculating the right amount needed to provide based on our number of guests we had attending. Similarly, she helped consult the number of glasses and types of glassware to rent and we truly appreciated her advice and expertise! In addition to the reception beverages, we decided to have a signature cocktail at our cocktail hour in which the bartenders mixed separately in beverage dispensers we provided. This was Rachel's suggestion so that we could avoid long lines waiting for the bartenders to mix the margaritas which was brilliant and worked out perfectly! The bartenders were super friendly, professional, and complimented by our guests for how well they managed the drinks and kept the line to a minimum. Untrustworthy. This company waited until the day prior to our wedding to inform us that their card reader system was at another site and they would not accept credit or debit cards from our guests. They suggested our guests walk to the closest ATM at 32 degrees on New Years Eve in downtown Boston. This company's bartenders openly discussed the stipulations of our deal with our guests, when we explicitly requested a silent open bar ticketing system which would convert to a cash bar. This company invoiced us additional fees 7 days after the event claiming that it took longer to clean up than they originally estimated. As if they've had no experience cleaning up their bars in the past. This company ran out of the drinks we cared about, even though we explicitly told them prior to the event. Spend your money with a more trustworthy, professional service. read more

Premier Bartending & Beverage Service had a cash bar at my wedding on June 10, 2016. I was informed by my guests that a man working at the bar was going into the men's restroom to get pitchers of tap water. I cannot begin to tell you how embarrassing that is. Also on the day of the wedding, while I was getting ready, Ed called me to ask for the $300 deposit that my husband had sent him the authorization form for months ago. I said it was okay to run the card after checking to make sure he never processed the payment. He said I'm going to need you to email me the authorization. It's stuff like this that you shouldn't call a bride about the day of her wedding, it could have waited until after. I now wish I had waited because I would have asked for a credit for getting tap water from the bathroom to serve to my guests. read more

I hired Premier Bartending for a home-based reception of about 80-90 people. Enzo arrived on time with his own bar tools and began working right away. Once he was set up he offered to help with other things until guests began to arrive. When the event was over he stayed until the bar area was fully put away and helped store all the beverages in our basement. Fiona was our on-site person, and she did an amazing job making our vision come to life, without needing any hand holding. We were a bit hands-off on some of our decor stuff, so we were super thankful that her capable hands took over and managed our set-up. They also did a great job dealing with our many family member and their (sometimes crazy) requests, on the day of the wedding. My only hesitation to give them 5 stars is that it was sometimes difficult to communicate with their office, leading up to event. We had to make multiple phone calls to get estimates, etc. However, the actual service at our event was impeccable. If you can deal with having to do a bit of chasing them, I would 110% recommend! read more
