Let me just start by saying it's August in the Valley- be patient with any hvac company- they're REALLY busy right now! I reached out for a quote on an a/c split install for a second story apartment. I had been using portable window units that were not only expensive to run, they weren't working- it was 90 degrees inside my apartment at 6 pm at night. Kyle was one of the few people who would give me an estimate range before coming out to check out the property. I had a couple of people out to review the space- Kyle was the only one who measured to make sure everything would fit and even opened up the breaker box to take a look and make sure that everything was good there before giving me a final quote- which was quite a bit less than the others. If you're worried about dirt and dust, these are the kind of guys who put booties on before walking in your home. Since I was installing the unit on behalf of my landlord I wanted to make sure that whomever I hired was going to do a good job at a fair price and felt confident I had the right company. Kyle and Tim arrived a little late to the appointment scheduled because they had to travel to a different store when the van nuys location was sold out of their units- and even ended up with an upgraded unit at no extra charge. They made quick work of the job (about 5 hours in total) and walked me through how to use and maintain the unit as well as show me what they did to the outside. The unit was tested for leaks before they left and - most importantly- my apartment is now 72 degrees rather than 89 at 7 at night. Just in time for a heat wave, I couldn't be more thankful! Right after Thanksgiving on a weekend, my father-in-laws furnace stopped working and after calling multiple business, Kyle responded for an assessment on that same day. I was referred to Kyle by a business partner. I had issues with the power to my Nest thermostat. He was very helpful. He attempted to walk me through a few steps to power up the thermostat so I would save money, because a lot of times it is an easy fix. My situation was a bit unique because I wanted specific models/parts and I was willing to buy the unit if the vendor is not able to get them for me. Kyle showed up today to do a quote on replacing my AC system (which two other HVAC techs said was dead and had to be replaced). He was really friendly, showed up wearing a mask and using boot covers. He was very helpful in helping me consider what replacement system I might want, and gave me lots of time and detail on it. As a final step he suggesting looking at the system and seeing what shape it was in. An hour later it was up and running!! In the middle of a heat wave (and me being old with health conditions, I really mean a life saver)! I still have plans to modernize my system, but in the mean time, in the middle of a heat wave, he got me going in no time. Our air conditioner froze up during the hottest week. We called two different companies to check the problem. Each told us we had to replace the entire system due to clogged coils.
