On our way to a place further north to pickup a trailer we decided to stop by at this place to see what they had and how we'd be treated. Given the review that was first on here we were naturally a bit reserved in doing business with them but the staff made us comfortable and was very generous with time and explanation. The price was good and the time spent at their desk was minimal. The facility was well stocked and brand new. We decided to give it a shot and are happy with what we bought and how they treated us. Naturally you must always also consider what happens if things go awry, as Vicky's story and photos illustrate. I think the owner put effort in to fix but lots of in-hindsight bad decisions seem to be made by both sides. So, long story short, we went here, got a good deal and the exact trailer we wanted, good advice and speedy service. Hope this adds some balance to the rating. What started off as a ok customer service experience quickly turned into a nightmare. I bought an 80k Toyhauler that was made by ATC. They are supposed to honor ATC warranty work because they sell them there. At first they were helpful in servicing the trailer under warranty, but then decided not to service my trailer that was still under warranty. They told me it was because I didn't buy it from them, even though they are one of the biggest dealers of ATC in the Midwest. They also said they weren't going to sell them anymore because of quality issues, even though I see them for sale in front of the dealership every time I drive by. When I purchased it, they were all sold out because of Covid. I bought it in Indiana knowing they sold and serviced them In Kalamazoo. It's like having a Chevy dealership unwilling to fix a Chevy under warranty. I ended up having to sell it because they were the ones I was depending on to work on it. I lost 10k in the transaction. Luckily the person buying it from me was out of state and would never ever need Premier Custom Trailers for warranty work. What a nightmare they created for me as a customer! Do not deal with this company if you value your sanity and your dignity. My biggest financial regret in recent memory. I went there to buy a nice little 6x12 trailer, I'm a younger guy so I'm not sure if they thought I was just some dumb kid coming to waste their time. I talked to a salesman, he was super weird and off putting. Just stared back at me when I asked him something. He didn't try at all to even sell me the trailer, acted like I wasn't worth his time. Trailer was priced at $2295 before taxes. After taxes it came out to $2432 but they were trying to charge me $2650 for it! Didn't explain to me why there was an extra $200 tacked onto it. They would not work with me on the price at all, the whole experience was horrible. I was a cash buyer, ready to go home with a trailer but their poor service and questionable business practices drove me away. I hope this helps someone. read more

Purchased 2016 28ft ATC toy hauler May 14th 2016 from Brian The owner of Premier Custom Trailers. At time of purchase I paid Premier Custom Trailer to deliver my new toy hauler. May 16th my new toy hauler arrived with damage down the entire left side of the unit. I immediately contacted Brian with the news. Brian promised me he could have the unit repaired to brand new condition and I would have it back before July 1st 2016. As of August 24 2016 my new toy hauler is still undergoing repairs that were sustained from Premier Custom Trailers delivery source. My family has not been able to use the trailer once since it was delivered. I have personally spent 20+ years in the Auto Industry. I would never force my customer to wait this long to enjoy their purchase. The right thing to do would be take this trailer back and replace it. That should have happened three months ago and it should happen now. All of the dealers I know in the Auto Industry would have replaced the unit at this point. I warn any person doing busyness with Brian of Premier Custom Trailers if a situation should arise that requires him to do the right thing you can rest assured he will not, and he will take responsibility for nothing.
