Unfortunately, I was in the situation where I needed the services of a water removal company (kitchen drain ruptured and had soaked through the wood floor, cabinets, subfloor and ran into the crawl space. Fortunately, 2 Sons Plumbing (who initially came out to fix the plumbing issue) recommended Premier Water Removal for getting things dried out. Joshua was able to come out immediately following the incident (on a Sunday morning, too!), and was incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, patient (I asked a LOT of questions) and thorough in his assessment of the work needing to be done. Shortly after we talked, a team was able to come out and get to work removing cabinets, sealing off the affected area and getting their machines set up. I don't know all the names of the individuals that came out to our house, but I do recall Byron, Kyle, Eric and AJ (I think). Every single person was very professional and friendly. The removal and setup went far more quickly and cleanly than I expected. There were a few follow up visits, but these were always quick and again, they were very open to answer any questions I had. I want to call out that the communication across the company was excellent. The coordination between the estimator, customer service and the cleaning team was frictionless and I was never left hanging wondering what the next steps were. They always showed up promptly in the window provided (and always lead with a heads up call 20 minutes before hand), and always immediately followed up with our next appoint (Heather, on our calls and through email was also always very friendly and helpful). I'm sorry if you're in a situation where you need a water removal company, but I would highly recommend using Premier as it has been a great experience throughout a not-so-great ordeal. read more

This just feels dirty, I would compare this company to ambulance chasers. Had an unfortunate leak, recommended by the plumber, great communication by the office, from there it was downhill. I get an absurd estimate, included was "Emergency Call - during business hours". I called to ask about some of the items and was met with such an arrogant attitude, I decided then and there, I wanted nothing to do with this company. Our experience with this company has been poor from start to finish. -technicians claimed they could get the insurance to cover -damage done to surrounding wall and floor to assess the problem was excessive to the actual situation. -Did not even dry up everything that was water damaged -Did not communicate what would happen with the drying process or timeline or when they would even return for their equipment or if we had another room to sleep in once they started -After insurance would not pay for everything their billing company has been horrendous to deal with. Some metal piece came off of our garbage disposal and I had no clue what to do. So I messaged a few businesses through yelp and spoke promptly with Premier Plumbing. We set up a time (like most plumbing places, they have a 4 hour window) for Travis to come take a look. Travis was very friendly and easy to talk to. He was very thorough in showing me why my garbage disposal was broken and giving me advice on what to do moving forward. We decided that I would buy the garbage disposal and he would just charge for installation which was more affordable for me. Travis showed me which one to get and told me if I didn't get one with a chord he could just help pick one up for me. A few weeks had passed and Travis came to do the installation. He once again was friendly and actually brought a garbage disposal with a chord on it. We decided to use that one since it already had the chord and he'd take the one I bought. It was nice because I had to actually buy the chord separately, which was an extra $10 and now I could return it. I'm much happier with my new garbage disposal. It's much quieter and from what I understand, can process the food better. I liked that Travis even showed me what to do if the garbage disposal ever got jammed with the tools that came with the box. Overall, I'm very happy with the service provided by Travis and feel like he provided customer service beyond what was necessary to get the job done. The people they have answer their phones are also very friendly and nice. I will be hitting this company up if I ever have any other plumbing issues. Thanks! It's bad luck to have to hire a water mitigation company twice in one year, but the good luck for us was that we found Premier Water Removal. Our first experience was in January, when we discovered water dripping from a kitchen ceiling box beam. A plumber sourced the leak to a dripping upstairs lavatory, then offered to tear out a large section of the kitchen ceiling. He wanted to start sawing it all open that night. I'm so glad we decided to pause then and consult a company that specializes in moisture removal. This is partly a lesson in getting more than one estimate. The first water mitigation service we called estimated $6000 for the damage. Like the plumber, they insisted we'd have to take out 100 square feet or more of kitchen ceiling. Oof. Then Premier came and used infrared moisture sensors (which the first company didn't bring) and gave us an estimate under $3000. They got right to work, visiting every day until the job was done with a clear game plan, great communication, and smart technology. I want to particularly thank their lead supervisor, Santos, for keeping us in the loop at each phase and knowing exactly how to proceed each step of the way. In the end, with good strategy and a tented drying system, our ceiling survived with only three holes the size of quarters to be patched (see photo). As a bonus, the total bill from Premier came in well under their estimate. Fast forward to December, and the wax seal failed on a toilet, resulting in a puddle on the hardwood floor. Again, we called a plumber, who removed the toilet. The next call was to Premier, and Santos was again the project manger. Again, Santos used smart technology (this time something called the Injectidry Floor Drying System), to resolve our problem, again all our questions were carefully answered, and again we had visits every day to check on our progress (with a welcome break from the noisy drying system for Christmas Eve and Christmas day). The result: no mold, the moisture is gone, the cupping of the hardwood floor has been flattened out, and we don't need to tear out any floorboards. Again, I wish we hadn't needed moisture removal but I am thankful to have been in the hands of Santos and his crew. Here's to a dry 2020. read more

We should have done our research. Premier was referred to us from a plumber, and that plumber was assigned to us from our home warranty company. We just went with it since we were anxious to have our toilet seal leak and subsequent mold problem resolved. All of the staff that were at our home were courteous, friendly, and professional. We had no issues with the folks that came to our house. On the first visit, the two gentleman that did a walkthrough and estimate presented information and led us to believe the work would be at least $1,500. So we went with an insurance claim to cover the costs since our deductible is less than that. The whole process seemed to drag on. After a week of dehumidifiers running they were not convinced the moisture was gone from under the tile in the bathroom, thus requiring removal of our vanity, toilet, and demolition of bathroom tiles. This is the most frustrating part. The demo was not done properly. They hacked up the back of our vanity instead of turning off the water, removing the plumbing fittings, and sliding the vanity away from the wall. There were also multiple tiles broken - more than what seemed reasonable. We had to scramble to find tiles that matched. Had we not found some, we would have been faced with retiling the whole floor. Then, guess what? The subfloor was miraculously dry after they removed the tile. No need to have any more dehumidification. Premier only does demolition and water/mold removal. We then had to hire a restoration company. Premier suggested one company. It took them over a week to come and do a walkthrough. Then, they ghosted us. We've now moved on to their second recommendation. This whole thing started on October 15th and we still don't have our bathrooms put back together. Oh... the real 'kicker' is Premier billed our insurance company $15,000. Yep. Added a zero to their initial 'estimate.' So, they took every advantage of the fact we had this as part of an insurance claim. They also sent a survey of satisfaction to us before we saw the bill - and before we noticed the hack job of our vanity - and had that included with the bill to insurance. In the end, this has all left us feeling like we will not be calling Premier again. read more

Quote included THREE asbestos tests, even though asbestos has been outlawed since 1989 and they knew the house was only 18 years old. We just bought a home and our inspector saw some white spots in our attic that could be symptoms of mold. As we definitely wanted to get this taken care of before we moved in, I yelped around over Memorial Day Weekend and was surprised by Premier's quick response rate and for scheduling me on Tuesday morning for a free estimate. Today, I appreciated the fact that Michael called to confirm the appointment and to also inform me that he was on his way over. He was punctual. When he arrived, he just jumped right into our small attic crawlspace and began the investigation. About half way thru the attic, he realized that it wasn't mold, but was probably from the insulation and some marks leftover previously from the chimney renovation. But still, he continued until he examined the rest of the attic to make sure there was indeed no mold growth. He said mold was good to detect early on, and if it was small I could take care of it myself. My experience with Primer was great. I had two major water damage problems back-to-back in three weeks for my rental property. I used Premier for both situations and I would definitely go back to them again (Let's hope I won't ever need to). The first incident was a cracked hot water pipe out of the water heater in the garage. The pipe was in between the drywalls adjacent to the first floor bedroom. It also caused severe water damage in that bedroom - carpet, drywall all needed to be taken out. There was also mold behind the drywall. Santos and team was able to quickly identify the leak and mitigate the issue. I feel for sure that his prompt handling of the situation made a big difference to have the damage contained and prevent any further growth of the mold. I had this second issue coming up just as I was wrapping up with the first floor repair. My tenants noticed a large 3ft by 3ft water spot on the dining room ceiling. It is close to the window but also seems to be beneath the master bathroom. (This is a townhouse and living/dining room is on second floor while master bedroom is on the top) I had no clue what's going on and my tenants were super worried as well. I was even concerned if it would be sewer damage. I called Primer and they were able to send Santos to my property right away the next morning. Santos quickly came up with his analysis and I was impressed by its accuracy. It turned out to be the pipes behind shower head that cracked. The dehumidifiers were set up and running the same day. Premier also helped find a plumber who had delivered good repair in general. I want to give a big shout out to Santos and other technicians. These guys are very knowledgeable and experienced and they surely know what's going on behind the visible water damage. I specifically would like to say thanks to Santos. He does much more than getting the job done. He is always happy to help with my questions and explain to me in details. He even took his spare time and gave a walk-through/inspection of the property free-of-charge upon my tenants' request. I would also want to thank TJ, Krystal and other folks in the main office. Stay away from Premier Water Removal. I had a home inspection report, very specific and detailed on what needed to be repaired. Incompetent employee came out who could not answer my questions or even understood the inspection report. Wrote up an estimate that only covered one line of the inspection report, could never get answers from the "project manager", called the office a week later, was then told Ops Manager and Project manager are changing their own scope of work, totally contradicted oiriginal estimate, yet still did not address full inspection requirements, I would then have to find 2 other companies to complete the scope of work. The personnel are inexperienced, incompetent , almost illerate regarding inspection reports. Dont waste your time calling this company, you will have to follow up to get a job addressed. read more

He mentioned 3 days of drying is enough but to be cautious he suggest 4 days and mentioned his team will check after 3 days and take the equipment back if not needed. Overall I had an "ok" experience. First I would like to share that this company has excellent customer service. All technicians that came out to my house were very professional, courteous, worked hard and followed all Covid protocols. Every time I contacted the company via phone all customer service agents were kind and gave great customer service. They did a water removal in my garage ceiling area that took two days to dry out. The reason I am only giving 3 stars is because on 2 separate occasions the appointments were no shows. I had to call on each to ask where the technician was... only to have polite excuses given why they did not come. I can understand this happening possibly once but twice seemed excessive. After water removal I was told by the the technician the office would immediately follow up with me on my next steps, proceeding with either a contractor or plumber. No one called. I had to contact them, their customer service agent told me she'd get right on that!! I never heard back from her! Still haven't heard back. I personally won't use again or recommend this company because of the two no-show appointments and the failure to follow through at the end. A pipe burst in the drywall due to a recent freeze so I reached out to Premier to help me address the issue ASAP. Overall, I gave two stars because they did "something right". But otherwise would not recommend them due to the cons below: Pros: - Diagnosed the issue correctly and immediately Cons: - Poor communication. Said they would schedule follow-up meetings with me several times and never called. Showed up hours outside of 2-hour arrival windows. Finished the work and didn't tell me it was finished. - Unreliable. Said they would start installing floor units to vacuum up the water immediately but waited several days and told me later. Didn't lock the doors to the house twice once complete for the day. The manager said he would call be back for updates but never followed through. - Messy - Left boot scuff marks all over the hard wood floors, dragged dirt onto floors that they weren't supposed to be (townhome with the work happening only on the first floor), scuffed up the walls, and left a layer of sawdust all over the house once "completed" - Expensive - The original estimate was around $8K to remove part of the drywall, insulation, and water removal. Ended up being over $16K when the only change to the work was pulling up floor boards. Fortunately this is being covered by insurance, but beware read more

Be mindful that they will charge a lot , as mentioned by other reviews. they charged our insurance company more than 3 k for restoring a small patch water leak on the ceiling. And they did not do a good job, their pipe to blow on the ceiling kept falling off and we had to do the job ourselves in the middle of the night to re tape it. Also they damaged our ceiling further while drying it. I would recommend to get quotes from other companies before you go with them! read more

Santos came out the NEXT day to take a look at what was going on. He listened to all my concerns and the best part was I felt like he heard what I said, cared and then started to solution. He checked everywhere in the house I was concerned about for water damage and then got geared up to go under the house. -Identified a sewage issue with standing water under the house. Broke down for me in Layman's terms what was needed to fix it and said they could come back the very NEXT day to do the work. The Details: -Above and beyond: I have two kiddos and had some worries about the air quality in the house until we could get the sewage issue fixed, even though they said they could do it the next day. Santos said, regardless of if we get the work or not, I am going to leave you with an industrial "air scrubber" air purifier so you have confidence that the air your kids are breathing is the best it can be. If we don't get the work, no problem, I will just come pick it up. If you are someone who isn't an expert in Plumbing/pipes/sewage/water damage, having someone you feel like is looking out for you and trying to solve the problem is Huge. The water damage happened just before Christmas and they used this as an excuse to drag out the water removal at my house for 3 weeks. They charge for every piece of equipment that is at the house, regardless if it is running or not. Their sales guy was pushy. He gave me an estimate of $3200 for the job. Then kept adding things that needed to be done. When I asked about the ad on's they just kept saying "the insurance will cover it". The final bill that was submitted to my insurance company was over $69,000. DO NOT USE THESE CROOKS. read more

We accidentally flooded our basement and had no clue as to who to call to check our walls for moisture. We found Premiere on the internet. We gave them a call and received wonderful service from the scheduler who answered the phone. She fit us into the schedule and sent a technician over - his name was Santos. He measured moisture in our walls and came up with a plan. Next steps were to have two technicians over, Manny and Nuku, to remove our cabinets, test for water and set up dehumidifying and fans. They did a great job and removed our cabinets with precision. After a few days, Santos came back to measure humidity and move fans around. One more trip and everything checked out as dry. We really appreciated Premiere's excellent service, great communication and hard workIng staff. We highly recommend them! read more

Our experience with Premier Water Removal was ok. Everyone that we spoke to and interacted with was very friendly. They were quick to get someone out to take a look at our water damage. Communication was a bit of an issue. There was a different person/team out each time they visited our home to do readings/move fans. This made it feel like we were in the dark regarding the progress. We were self-pay so we were anxious to know if we were still within our initial estimate or not. We could not get a straight answer from anyone despite asking/calling numerous times. When we got our final bill it was over double our initial estimate. I reached out to the owner with my frustrations and we set up a phone call. He was helpful. He informed me that there was a billing error and that would have been the price if billing insurance. They honor initial estimates for self-pay clients (no one ever informed us of this). We were really thankful to get our price back down to the initial estimate but it was an incredibly stressful experience dealing with this on top of the stress of flooding. read more

I waited one month for a response that never came. I decided to try to contact them one last time before I considered filling a report with the BBB. I emailed asking if I would be refunded (of several hundred dollars). The office manager did reply back with an apology, basically saying my account somehow slipped through the cracks, but that she would issue the refund check immediately. Thankfully, the check came in the mail a few days later. I wanted to think that the apology was sincere. While I was out of the state, I did receive a voicemail from one of the co-owners saying that he would like to hear my about my experience personally. I left a message when I got back that I would share what had happened. That was close to 2 weeks ago and still no word. Inconsistent follow through seems to be a recurring theme with this company. I had initially picked Premier Water Removal because they seemed to be a company that took care of all the details. Unfortunately, that has not been the case. In some ways I may have lucked out in not having them carry out the restorative phase by what some other Yelpers have said. I'm raising my rating from 1 star to 2 stars since the technicians were friendly and professional (though I did end up finding some small additional damage later from the work that will cost me) and I did get my refund check eventually. But I just can't recommend this company to either friends or family. When you're going through a stressful/costly situation, you don't need headache after headache from a company that promised to take care of things. read more

We had the worst experience with Premier Water Removal that I can imagine. They evaluated our water damage and recommended a treatment plan. We did not hire them to do the work. They sent a bill for their time, inflating the time spent at our home from 30 minutes, to 2.25 hours. I called their office and emailed them and nobody returned my messages to discuss the invoice. We filed an insurance claim and they increased the amount of the bill from approximately $550 before the claim to $1,440. We are incredibly thankful that we hired another company to do the remediation and didn't allow further access to our home and continued incorrect billing from this company. My advice - be extremely aware and don't sign anything they provide without engaging an attorney first. read more

I am extremely impressed with this company. Everyone with whom I have had contact is knowledgable, polite, and helpful. There is a live person who answers the phone each time. They keep you informed daily and check each day or every other day to see the progress of the water removal. And they clean up after themselves! But most importantly, they were able to address the water damage with least amount of intrusion. Thank you to the entire team. read more

We had flooding in our finished basement after the heavy rainfall in late December. We contacted Premier and they were able to fit us into their schedule despite the high demand at the time. We were impressed with the responsiveness of Premier and the service they provided. The actual cost was in line with the estimate even though the scope was greater than originally estimated (among other things Premier found mold from a previously unknown issue that they took care of). Our family was about to leave on a vacation, so we were under a very tight timeframe. We were able to talk with our project manager on the weekend (or another project manager if she was not available.) In particular, Kara and Mikayla were helpful with keeping our project on schedule, and Cindy was helpful on the billing end. Tyler assisted us with the asbestos testing. Our initial test was borderline and he was able to get an additional test rushed through that showed we were below the maximum threshold, which saved us from having to do expensive asbestos abatement. Jamie and his crew provided great service and answered all of our extensive questions. read more
