Dr. Stephanoff is NOT professional! In January 2026, Dr. Stefanoff said my 2 year old had heart murmurs, although we came originally with completely different issue. In turn, I explained that child was always very active, had good appetite and our previous pediatrician never mentioned about it! Dr. Stephanoff assured me that we needed additional diagnostics and referred us to Childrens Heart Center Nevada for consultation, EKG and Echocardiogram. Before scheduling appointment with Pediatric Heart Specialist, I came back in February 2026 to Dr. Stefanoff on second appointment specifically to confirm if my child actually had heart murmurs and she confirmed that murmurs were QUITE LOUD and defenatly needed additional diagnostic!!! I got VERY nervous and scheduled appointment at Childrens Heart Center Nevada. EKG RESULTS - 100 percent healthy. ECHOCARDIOGRAM - 100 percent NO MURMURS AT ALL!!!! Heart Specialist was confused why dr. Stephanoff even send us for additional diagnostics, when child did not have any heart murmurs at all. Thanks to the Lord Jesus Christ my baby's heart is very healthy!!! But, I got VERY nerves and will be responsible paying future patient bills, which unfortunately are going to be very expensive for unnecessary procedures. On top of that, I spent my free time for scheduling procedures , going to appointments, and making phone calls to insurance company. Be aware that dr. Every time I take my daughter to this Doctor i am disappointed . The staff has been good but the Doctor from the get go would make comments about me being a first time mom and made me feel ridiculous for bringing my daughter in. I think it is very important to feel comfortable with your child's Doctor and I have never felt that . I would ask her questions and she would give me sarcastic responses . My daughter has been complaining about her right ear for months and the doctor is saying she is fine . I unfortunately do not trust her opinion as she has downplayed everything I have ever brought up as a concern . I will be going to another pediatrician. read more

We interviewed With the Dr about a week before my grandson was sent home from the Nicu. She said we asked questions that came from in line..uh no..I asked questions that I needed to know because preemie world is different for me. My kids were full teen.. preemie life is scary. After our second visit, she wouldn't give us referrals that we were told we needed, but that she had to refer us out for shots!?!? I work in the medical field and this was very strange to me. I worked in peds in California, so yeah..we found another pediatrician who we are in love with..i do wish this Dr. lots of luck though. She ruins her practice all alone. My kids have only seen Dr. Stephanoff their whole lives. They are 11 and 14. Dr. Stephanoff was always super sweet every time I would take my kids in for a check up. My daughter had 2 seizures as a baby. Dr. Stephanoff said we could schedule her for a CT scan to see but she thought it was due to her temperature going up too fast. She explained everything thoroughly to me. I opted against it (I didn't want to put my 1 year to sleep if I didn't have to). She has been fine ever since. She wasn't as friendly during Covid as she had been in the past. She explained to me that people had been extremely rude to them during Covid (I can believe it). Since we had that conversation, I saw her at the mall and I took my kids in to see her today and she's back to her friendly personable self. read more

Been coming here for over two years, and now it's time to update my review again. I need to find able new pediatrician ASAP. It's so hard though, when you feel as if you have to interview them. Anyway.. Don't come here. It's a waste of your time. 3 times in the last 8 weeks this Dr has misdiagnosed my child. First time I came in my daughter was coughing, fever, nose drainage and was having difficulty breathing. Stephanoff said, oh it's just a common cold, no medicine. Just cough medicine.. Her having asthma I know this is not the case, but instead I trusted the dr. A few days later on Sunday I take her to UMC because they're closed and UMC finds she has an ear infection and upper respiratory infection. The 2nd time, 2 weeks later I go in And tell her she's havin similar problems an I let we know that last time alway UMC had discovered. She acted surprised. Looking her over she says that she's yet again fine, nothing wrong, just allergies. Oh boy here we're go again... Sunday comes along when the doctors closed and my daughter won't stop crying. UMC here we come... Dun dun dun they find a sinus infection. The third time we go back 3 weeks later it's because my daughter can't open her eyes. They say they're booked or two days and can't see her. How is that possible when I've come atleast you 12 times in the last two years as a walk in or make an appt the same day. There was no way I was going to wait two days. Find out later she has pink eye. Thank you UMC for helping my daughter when her pediatrician clearly can't. Nurses aren't friendly, they gossip in front of patients with each other. DR doesn't seem very concerned with patients or even after two years seem like she knows my daughter. I would not even waste your time. This people have poor customer service skills. I will never go back to a place with such disregard to the people whom they are supposed to serve. I showed up for the appointment and they made me pay for the entire bill, even though my son is covered under United Health Care. Then they tried to tell me that it was my fault and would not finish the appointment unless we paid for everything on that visit. The front Desk Is alway Polite with a smile. Greets The children with stickers and Lily Pops which is Great Because it gives them something else to foucs on while waiting to be seen. She also is very upfront about your copays and your balance, which I Like. Also They have same day appointments which is amazing not alot of offices have this. They also work Saturdays which is perfect for my older child since he has school during the week. The Nurse is professional and sweet. She is extermely fast on giving injections which is awesome. I have been to other pediatricians and I always had a problem with the nurses. They were always on a slow pace. I Have a 6 month, 2 year old , 6 year old and 11 year old So im always on the go. And we are always at the doctors for some Reason. Anyways, the nurse is very attentive also. Doctor Stephanoff is very straight foward if your giving the wrong dosage in medication she will let you know. She takes her time answering my questions and I sure have many. I also like how she lets me know how my children are growing and if they need any lab work. She makes things very simple for you to understand. She also plays with the children. I love this place, the Doctor is great, works with her nurses and makes us feel important. They don't keep you waiting forever and A real people person. Nurses are all nice in person and on the phone. Love the Saturday availability that was available through the school year. read more

I went in because my son had a horrible rash and she diagnosed him and told me that it'll go away within 2 months. I then asked what it was and she told me that she will write it down and that I can google it... that didn't make me happy that I had to look up what my son had and she couldn't even tell me the name of it.. I asked her different questions also about my son to see if it is normal what he is doing by not being observant about different stuff. She reacted with he's just a kid he shouldn't be. This is the 3rd time I wrote this review, either yelp took it down (they're know for it) or this horrible doctor took it down. I took my daughter there for her first time. She was 2 at the time and she was scare, so the pathetic doctor start yelling at her. I was shocked, what kind od doctor are you. How did you even get your degree? Anyway, she just look at my daughter for 10 seconds, mumble something in her language and walk off. What kind of a pathetic doctor is this? No wonder this office doesn't need any appointments just walk-ins is ok. It's because no one comes here. I should of read reviews about this place before I take my daughter here. Doctor Stephanoff is amazing. I have been taking my kids to her office since my children were born. She is professional,very smart, straight forward . The office is very clean ,it's always a pleasure to walk in. And her assistants are nice and welcoming . Not recommended. We've been going here for 2 yrs and it has been average at best. There was a front desk admin who was somewhat rude and not professional, but i could tolerate if the Dr was good. (Person has not been seen in quite a while, prob fired, but this is not the point of the review). Dr was professional but very impersonal. Not really interested in anything but in-and-out service, answering only questions asked. If you don't have any questions you could be in and out in 5 min. If that's what you're after for your child, then Dr Stephanoff is for you. This morning my child had high fever followed by a short seizure. We could have gone to the ER but thinking my pediatrician could give her more personal treatment and knowing her health background for almost 2 yrs, i scheduled an immediate appointment and took her in. After waiting 30 min, the Dr said we should go to ER. I said i wanted her to examine daughter since this happened before and she knew about this history. Take a quick look, make sure this is normal, give us something. Dr wouldn't even look at her. I stared in disbelief. So i took her to the only pediatric ER avail that was 25 min across town. Sat, waited for over 1 hr before we saw a Dr. ER Dr did a quick exam, said given toddler's history of this before, continue to give Tylenol/Ibupro to reduce fever. ER Dr was shocked when she heard Dr Stephanoff would not see my daughter. Never heard of that before, wanted to know what pediatrician it was, told us she had probs with Dr S in the past. What Dr turns away a sick child that has come to her door without the courtesy of seeing her? What in the world was Dr S thinking? Of her schedule, of her lack of knowledge or of my daughter's health? Surely a business person, not a doctor. read more

She listens to what I say and asks questions for additional info I might not have thought of. We've been coming here for 3 1/2 years and have never had any issues whether we had insurance or were cash patients. I recommend her to all my friends with kids. read more

Dr. Stephanoff has been our pediatrician for 3 and a half years. She is wonderful. I have never left her office feeling anything less than taken care of. My son was born at 27 weeks. He was in the NICU for 9 weeks. Upon leaving, I asked the NP for a recommendation based on our situation. She recommended Dr. Stephanoff. Since my sons first cold she has always been proactive with him, considering his compromised lungs. He is very shy, but she always gets a smile from him. He actually likes going to the doctor. My second child was born with no complications, but she has treated him in the same manner. She is wonderful to have and I can always get a fast appointment for when my kids become ill. I will not lie some of the nurses are a bit curt--less than happy. Some of the nurses are sweet and amazing. That is the same anywhere at any doctors office. I was shocked to read these reviews that were posted. I had to share my experience. She's a lovely Doctor, very knowledgable, great tips and tricks for all sorts of problems. read more

We have been come coming here for years! Friendly staff, day of appointments, never have to wait to long! Dr. Stephanoff is fabulous. Always gives us the best care when the kids are at their worst! I liked going to this place at first. The Dr Tatiana Stephanoff was always friendly. I left my son intact at birth and she never tried retracting his foreskin. Then when my son was sixteen months old she forcibly retracted his foreskin and told me i should be pulling it back and cleaning out the "mucus" that builds up. Right away i raise my voice and told her to stop and that i don't do that. My son let out the most blood curtailing scream Ive ever heard. I had learned when i was pregnant to never retract the foreskin. You are only supposed to clean the outside like a finger. The AAP even states on its website to NEVER pull back a baby's foreskin. It is and outdated practice and causes the baby harm. Until a boy reaches puberty the foreskin is fused to the glans like a finger nail is fused to a finger. So for a week after that visit my sons penis was red and inflamed. He would wince when i changed his diaper and quit touching it. (which is his favorite thing to do) So long story short this doctor doesn't know the proper way to care for an intact child. Ive never brought my son back and we are looking for a new ped. read more

9/21/16 called to make an appoinment cus my daughter is sick. First call someone answered hello then hung up. Second call I could hardly hear her so she hung up on me but she already got my daughters name she could've atleast call me back but No. So I called again I told her I was trying to make an appoinment but the lady I was talking to hung up on me. I didn't know I was talking to the same lady and she answered me with an attitude she was like well you kept saying Icouldn't hear you when I can hear you perfectly fine. And She was like I told you would you like to call back cus your reception is bad(like I heard what she said). She was rude and has attitude I don't know why? Maybe I called 5 mins before they close?
