They're WAY overpriced. We worked with them to try to get the project started for three weeks then gave up. They wanted 100% of our money before the project even began. We ended up going through Whole Wood in San Carlos for our hardwood and we worked with Rolando Lopez at Pure Wood Flooring to complete the project. They were amazing! No joke, we got more done in one day with them than three weeks with the Floor Store. Stay far away from the Floor Store unless you want overpriced material and slow, ineffective communication.

This reflects very poorly on the company's customer service and reliability. While the product selection is good, it is extremely disappointing that Da Vinci Marble has not taken care of a straightforward refund in a timely manner. I hope they address this issue and improve their responsiveness to customers moving forward.

We went yesterday before they closed at 5, and they were great at offering a one on one assistance--Anthony came out and walked us through our options, specifically were were looking for tiles for outdoor covered patio, shower floors, and bathroom, as well as kitchen and backsplash. What my husband and I really loved about Anthony was the absolute efficiency, e.g. we'd show him a tile and immediately he'd tell us whether it would work for that application or not. He just knew that information off the top off his head, and didn't make shit up, as we'd encountered in other shops. We're going to end up doing a custom job of ombre with an online software tool from Oceanside. Anthony turned us onto Sicis as well, but there's no online tool I could decipher, so bummer. The prices are on par with other places of this ilk, and parking is easy especially because it's not located in the middle of a city, and street parking we got immediately.

They were patient with us as we pulled a dozen samples from the warehouse into the front for comparison. The selection here is *vast*. We found more than one suitable option, and the one we ultimately chose ended up better than the original product we ordered. Whole Woods empathized with our urgency. They got the product ordered quickly. We opted to pick it up from the warehouse rather than to have them deliver it to save a bit of extra time. The finished product looked amazing we were extremely happy with the result. There was one issue with defective nosings in our delivery, but they rectified the situation quickly. Even though I live an hour's drive away, Whole Woods would be my first choice if I were to shop for floors again.

This company does not follow-up on items that need to be addressed. Michael has had more than…read moreenough time to fix uneven floor boards (the flooring was put in during the late spring of 2025). I reached out to him multiple times about this issue. The project took way longer than expected and the subcontractor was consistently late in getting started. One critical day in particular, he didn't show up until noon, thus running into the workday end time that my condo association requires. I sensed that the subcontractor had other priorities at times. Michael also did not offer to take away the excess floor underlayment and the unusable floor boards. On the positive side, Michael was able to secure an underlayment with a less popular thickness, which involved extra time and coordination. One of the installers did a fabulous job with my stairs. And the floor does look beautiful. I was able to go to the warehouse and get extra samples to ensure that it was a good match for my place. That was a big help. Michael also did help me get a payment from a moving company that slightly damaged my floor. There are flooring companies whose installers are employees. I would go with one of those companies next time. I had a fabulous experience working with Brothers Home Improvement on new windows. The employees there are like family, and the company is still standing by its windows, 18 years later.

The front door was especially tricky because it was installed too low by someone else. He did some grinding on the high spots and used leveling compound on other areas and even managed to make things work around the door. The hardwood floors he installed are gorgeous and you would never know what a disaster we had started with. He is on the job himself much of the time supervising his employee and they both have positive attitudes and really care about craftsmanship. He charges a fair price and at the end he found that the square footage was a little less than either of us had measured so the bill was a little less. This level of honesty is really appreciated.
