The crew left excessive overspray, failing to properly cover surfaces or move items that should have been protected. More seriously, they sprayed insulation foam onto our truck. Both the head worker/project manager, Juan, and the supervisor, David Alaniz, personally promised me that the foam would be removed and the truck restored. Despite these assurances, they went silent and have taken no responsibility. The removal of the insulation foam is estimated to cost between $1,500 and $2,000. To make matters worse, I have discovered that Atlas Painting is no longer operating on Thumbtack under that name. Based on their conduct--causing damage, making false promises to fix it, and then disappearing--I believe they are running a fraudulent business designed to avoid accountability.
