As a young person, anything related to money and financial planning has always been intimidating to me but PremierOne has educated me on all things money and finance. PremierOne helped buy out my lease from Honda and helped me to finally purchase my car! I would especially like to shine some light on Horacio who I've known since he was a teller and is now a member service officer, he's helped me secure personal loans that have helped with everything from veterinary bills to small business purchases. Horacio has always delivered incredible customer service, helped me make financial decisions, and has educated me on PremierOne's many financial products. I have been a loyal customer of Premier One Credit Union for over seven years, and I am extremely disappointed with the customer service I received recently. I spoke with a customer service representative who said they would transfer me to a manager for further assistance. After speaking with both the representative and the manager, neither of them were able to help me with my issue at all. There was no solution offered, no flexibility, and no effort to support a long-term customer. For a credit union that has been in business for years and makes millions of dollars in fees, the lack of care and support was shocking. Being treated this way after more than a decade of loyalty felt downgrading and dismissive. Customer service should value long-term members, not make them feel like they don't matter. Unfortunately, this experience showed me that loyalty does not seem to count here. Very poor service, and I expected much better. read more

Even now as I'm far more financially savvy, I can look back on my history of working with them and say in confidence how well they've treated me: from finding unique solutions to going the extra mile to fulfill special requests, I can't emphasize how great they are. For my recent visit, I came to them after some loan shopping through other offers. I have very good - excellent credit, and a wide credit history -- I was getting excellent offers all around (personal loan, 7.6 - 9.99%). Kay secured me a loan with better terms and rates than all of them. I have been going to the credit union for many years. I would NEVER EVER go back to using a regular bank. PremierOne Credit Union is like family. They actually want you to succeed in saving money, buying a house, etc. Recently, I couldn't find the Zelle app on the website. I messaged this credit union on Facebook and got a fast response back from Mark in the Marketing Department. He sent me the direct link and told me how to find Zelle in the future. I was shocked I even got a response back. Usually when I email businesses, they don't ever email/message back. Most of them don't even pick up the phone. We just closed our purchase loan with PremierOne Credit Union for our recently purchased condo. Amparo, the loan manager, is so helpful. She put in extra manpower for us to expedite the approval review process so that we can submit our offer in time. I was impressed by her professionalism and level headedness. They really go above and beyond to help their customers. Chuck, our loan officer, is very experienced. He is personable and easy to work with. He kept me informed and was either readily accessible or returned my email or call quickly during the entire process. I always had great services at the Almaden branch office. But this time, the personal services I received from these professionals are really beyond my expectation. I opened several accounts today and Jessica was fantastic. First of all when I walked in I was greeted in a friendly manner from the staff at front then Jessica came over and escorted me to her office. She was so nice and really took her time to explain everything with me walk me through the online banking with multiple accounts and setting up accounts for my kids. This was the most pleasant experience I have ever had in a bank. They were also friendly and patient with my toddler who was running around wreaking havoc because I was taking so long, but nobody was annoyed or rude. The accounts they offer are great and they have so many benefits and discounts tickets for things. I am so impressed with them, I am coming from another credit union that was less than stellar. I can't say enough good things about this CU. Also their fees are minimal if any for alot of the servic Update****** As if they couldn't get more Awesome! After I had a great experience with Jessica , I got the pleasure of dealing with Carlos who was able to refinance both of our cars within the week, literally both of our cars were refinanced by Friday.. When I first applied to PremierOne, I initially got denied because of an issue with Chase. That did not stop them from giving me the most amazing customer service! They helped me clear the issue and get an account with them. I opened my account (after helping me review which would work with my lifestyle). Monique (the branch manager) & Taylor both helped me out. Monique took it a step further and had mentioned my current APR was extremely high for my car loan. She wanted to help me out and get it fixed since I was working super hard on getting my credit together. In the end, I have only been a customer for less than a week and I already enjoy banking here more than I did at Wells Fargo (I had been a member there since 2007). First off I'm not one to leave reviews but I just had to share the amazing experience I had at this branch and also with Jessica Campa, one of their loan processors. Not only did she make me feel comfortable but also reassured me that everything was going to be okay. I was very embarrassed with the financial situation I had gotten myself in and really didn't want to share that information with anyone. I was just about to agree to a loan with One Main for an interest rate of 39%. The only reason I was about to move forward with that loan was because I thought it was my last option. I applied to so many other places to consolidate my debt & also applied with my own credit union that I have banked with for the past 10 years. No one would accept me besides One Main until I heard about Premier One and I'm so glad I did. Jessica seriously went above and beyond to try everything in her power to get me the highest amount she could, with the best rate she could. Great services. I went in and asked Kay Amado, at the Ashbury location, for a new car loan. She looked up my membership number and told me that I was pre-approved for certain amount. I went out and bought the vehicle. I emailed Kay a copy of the contract, including the vehicle VIN number, as instructed. Within hour, Kay had my cashier's check made out to the car dealer. Boom! Done. No paperworks to fill out. Kay filled out all of the forms based on my profile from the bank. All I have to do was reviewing, and signing them electronically from the email. The folks here are great! I worked with Gina and Ivana to get my solar loan and my home refinance done. They were super responsive and so easy to work with. I had some credit issues from back in 2006 that got resolved in 2015. Most banks wouldn't even talk to me about a solar loan, let alone a home refi. Gina and Ivana worked with me to understand my options and they got me approved for both with really low rates. Initially I was just applying for the solar loan, but when Gina saw that I was being forced into an FHA for my refi, she called me and chatted about other options. I'm soooooo glad we did. I got a lower rate on a traditional loan and I didn't have to deal with PMI or FHA fees. She saved me and my wife tons of money. Once I got moved to Ivana to complete the loan, it was super quick. I think we closed in a week and everything was good to go. Since I am always in meetings and super swamped at work, Ivana was flexible and we were able to handle everything through email. The only thing I had to do in person was sign the loan papers and the closing docs. So easy. They have blocked my card many times, always so frustrating and inconvenient. There has never been anything that could be considered even slightly suspicious. I'm looking for a new CU, one that doesn't have such an aggressive algorithm. I can't use my card at a farmers market where you want to use it 5 times in a half hour, at least. Big bummer. read more
