They continue to be the most responsive and helpful of any bank/cu I have ever used! If I could only provide a Zero Star, I would. PPCU services went downhills for the last 5 years. They definitely don't know what CUSTOMER SERVICE MEANS. If you have current consumer loan definitely has to refinance with other reputable bank or credit union. I have been working and communicating with Yvonne for 3 months now regarding my consolidation loan, to sale my used car that was included the CL, and she has been telling me that she needs to talk to CEO for approval over 3 months. I loss several buyers for the SUV since I have been waiting for 3 months. I have finally had another buyer and made appt with Yvonne to the SJ branch and she made us wait from over 3 hours, just to let me know I couldn't not sale for $4,500. I DEFINITELY WILL NEVER GO TO PACIFIC POSTAL CREDIT UNION AGAIN. WORST CREDIT UNION IN THE BAY AREA!!! read more

I have been a member of this credit union for a very long time due to my grandmother being a mail carrier. Giving 4/5 stars due to an unprofessional staff member by the name of Evelyn in Accounting. She would not give me her last name, but she was very condescending and rudely kept interrupting me. She even accused me of "forgetting" a request I had put in two months ago. Evelyn, you were rude, and as someone that works in customer service I would expect you to at least listen to those who you are helping. Other than Evelyn, everyone else has been so kind and patient throughout all of my years this has been my only bad experience. Don't work in customer service if you're going to talk down to everyone you come across and suppose to help. read more

evert since they updated their system nothing works right and it so complicated. No one answers the phone and don't not return phone calls. it is time to look for another credit union. Majority of the people that use this credit are postal employees that have retired. They don't like changes and if I am having problems with my account I can imagine how upset they are. read more

A solid local credit union! I've banked there for years, and they continue to improve their technology and services.

Something Stinks Here. I have been a member of this Credit Union since late 1960's when it was Peninsula Postal CU. My original member number was three thousand something. This is the 4th time this year that they have paid bills for somebody else from my account in error. After phone calls, they will fix it... then debit my account again, in error, the next month. This year, there are more errors than legitimate transactions. Security is important to me, since at times, I have had over 1M$ in my accounts here. I mailed a small deposit in November, that still has not been processed. The only reason I have not closed the accounts is that I have a small quarterly life insurance payment paid here. This review is for LEIGH AVENUE branch. They're just good at the beginning. But they don't want to help you after speaking to you once. I planned to have more transactions with them. But I ended up cancelling those transactions. This review is for CAROL who told me that she doesn't want to go through it again with me. It's "either I take it or not". You made my day! Regardless, it is your job to inform your customers again. That's why they're asking again because of uncertainty. Help and guide. Make sure your customers are SATISFIED and had fully understood the contract of what they are paying for. read more

We have been with the Credit Union for about 40 years now, and instead of improving their customer service, they have completely retrogressed. Either their internal processes need to change, or their personnel are not familiar with processes. I am married to a member and, earlier I was able to do online banking on my own (i.e. I had my own access). When they changed their system, I was told that I cannot access our joint account on my own and that I have to use my husband's login credentials to do so. I told the rep that sharing login credentials violates InfoSec practices and she snapped at me saying this is their policy, end of subject!. My husband was out of country and inaccessible at that time, so I called again and recommended that the rep seek their IT's guidance on an "exception" process if their policy is as restrictive as I've been led to believe. Banked here since I was a little girl thanks to my mom. Although it is not in my area I come here cause they know how to treat customers.

I have been banking with this credit Union for 34 years and out of the blue the "Board" decides to change all of the free checking accounts into accounts that are charged $4.95 and if you want to opt out of that and go back to free checking you have to get a brand new account number, buy new checks, re-do your direct deposit, etc. They are just trying to make money and screw the members who don't want to give away their money.
