Going into a kitchen remodel can be overwhelming. I contacted Luke about kitchen cabinets and he was very attentive, communicative, and helpful with suggestions. He referred me to work with contractor Brian and from there the plan took off. They showed up when they said they would, rain or shine. The product quality and work exceeded our expectations. Premium cabinets was a joy to work with. We really enjoyed meeting Luke, Donna, and Travis, as well as Bella! We took so long to make the decision about cabinets. We started talking to Luke at least a year prior to actually making a purchase decision. Luke came to our house at least twice, had at least four separate phone calls with me, not to mention the amount of texts that I sent to him with questions. He had a whole slew of really great people that he works with and was very generous in Sharing this with us. Luke was always responsive And friendly and his pricing is definitely very fair and when we made the difficult decision not to buy a full kitchen of new cabinets but instead to install an island, Cutting the sale price significantly, He was just as helpful as when we were going to purchase an entire kitchen of cabinets. He held our hand and walked us through The entire process and was so generous with his time that we can not imagine using anyone else for our next cabinet purchase. We ended up with a beautiful Island (technically a peninsula) with gorgeous handles that Travis installed for us. It's exactly what I pictured in my head. Travis is just the nicest guy and he is super OCD which you totally want when someone is installing something in your house. We even bought handles for our existing cabinetry because the pricing was so good. I highly recommend using Luke and premium cabinets for your next kitchen cabinet adventure. Premium cabinets help not only with the installation of the cabinets but the end to end process i.e. selected type of cabinets that would look great in my house. Also help with finding demo and plumber and election etc... Every one who is referred by Premium Cabinets done a great job, after using cabinets for a year I had a small issue with one of the cabinets not sliding perfectly so I called Premium Cabinets and got some one to my house same day to fix the issue and I didn't have to pay anything. Luke and his team were incredible and delivered a phenomenal product! Premium cabinetry offers beautiful solutions for ANY of your cabinet needs! There were many finish styles to choose from, but we loved the white shaker cabinet. The quality of cabinetry itself is very beautiful and impressively constructed. The cabinets have slow close drawers and doors, made with real hardwoods, dove tailed corners and high efficiency engineering for your personal specifications and needs. I love the lazy susan, the spice rack, and the amount of volume that each drawer welcomes! The cabinets were installed in a promised timeline, and the install team were flawless! The masonry was so impressive, and the install team will blow you away! They left our home better than they found it, each day, even in the midst of a construction zone! Our kitchen was demoed and completed in exactly 4 total weeks, but the cabinet demo and install aspect was completed in less than a week and a half- with consideration of weekends and other project maintenance. Amazing! Luke and his team also offer additional valuable resources for your project. Take them up on their guidance and resources! They have phenomenal and seasoned knowledge to help you! Over 6 years later, these cabinets still look wonderful. The plywood box construction is solid, and the shelves we have are straight, no sagging. The finish has held up very well for a painted surface, and I know from past experience that painted surfaces are delicate in a damp, high use area. I am careful to dry the cabinets if they get wet and am careful not to ding them. No surface cracks in the paint, even at the joints. The slide out shelves were a splurge, but are a space saving dream and I cannot imagine life without them. They fully extend and hold lots of weight. The only issue that we have had is with a hinge on an often used L-shape door, and a replacement pin was all that was needed.

There are some 10,000 cabinet suppliers in Southern California (Luke's figure and it's probably close), so why choose Premium Cabinets? We had no idea where to start, but I had found a card advertising cabinets at contractor prices in recycling bin under our PO box at Postal Annex. We started there. They carried most of the brands that you might find on Houzz, but his most popular was a Diamond line (similar to Lowe's). The cabinets as configured would be around $13K (install on our galley kitchen would be extra). We started there and began looking at the higher-rated Yelp cabinet shops. We had bids from $8,500 installed to much higher. Premium came in below the original bid, but higher than our lowest. However, as we talked to Luke, we were impressed with his attention to detail and thought that his suggestions were great. We could see them assembling cabinets in the back. The cabinets were in good shape (at one highly-rated shop I visited, there were cabinets set for install where the back corners were visibly broken). Premium Cabinets carries at least three lines. They, too, have a Diamond sub-brand that is made in the U.S. and looks great. It has a variety of customization options. He also carries two import lines. These cabinets were going into a condo in Encinitas, so we didn't want to overspend on the boxes and never be able to get the value out of them when we eventually sell. We chose the better ready-to-assemble imported cabinets that were made with 5/8" ply and had slow-close everything. We visited a couple of more shops before deciding to go with Premium. Luke came to the house and measured (my measurements were pretty good). We made some adjustments to the original plan during the measurements and put our 50% down. Premium sent to MSI for countertop material. They LOVE Luke, Donna, and Dan. Very easy to work with (see my review). Tower Nine was their subcontractor for installation. They LOVE Luke, Donna, and Dan. And their work was AMAZING (see my review). The installation took about a day-and-a-half. They worked very clean and very fast. One note on install: We were ready for installation before they could install. If their crews get caught up in a job or there is some other delaying issue, it can cause yours to be delayed, too. That's one reason why our $29 induction burner came in so handy. We were able to survive. Premium sent us out Ferguson's to look at fixtures and get ideas. Again, they were huge Luke fans. We found the hood and faucet there, as well as the sink. But, when it came time to order, he wouldn't return our calls or emails. It was the oddest experience. We ended buying the sink (a Blanco) on Wayfair, the Grohe faucet on Build.com, and the Zephyr hood we got on Discount Bandit. So it goes in retail. We used one of his counter installers, Danny Cervantes. He's out of the South Bay. He knows his stuff, but he tended to promise to do things when there was no way that he could fit it into his schedule. I think he just wants to make you happy, but his time calculations generally require 34 hours in a day. However, he stands behind his work and is another craftsman that leaves the work site in good shape. As a note, we ended up using quartz. It can chip during fabrication (or even install). Epoxy can solve almost any issue and Danny is an Epoxy master. (Note: If you are also replacing windows you might want to do it first or just make sure that the counter does not extend past the older frame as replacement windows actually sit inside the original construction frames - '70's aluminum in our case. We had conflicting advice on whether to put in the counter before or after the windows went in. In the end, we put in the counter before the windows. We couldn't do a full 2" bull nose as a result, but could use the kitchen sooner). We've been using the cabinets for about 3 months now and the kitchen has been full functional since the first of the year. One thing that Luke didn't mention was HOW EASY it is to keep the cabinets clean. We have gray lowers and white uppers. They look as new as any drip, splatter, or spill can be easily cleaned off. The sliding drawers all work well. We have a 3" and 6" pullouts on either side of the stove. The 6" holds spices better, but the 3" is great for squeeze bottles of oils, some spices, etc. Also, Premium has a solid selection of handle styles available and don't mark them up. We are still figuring out how to best use all of the cabinet space, but we like having the trash/recycling by the sink and the pantry space is all very usable (we have another pantry area off the kitchen where we store small appliances etc.). And, they are such UPGRADE on our 70's union-made, particle board cabinets. Another nice thing about Premium. I had picked up a Kohler bathroom cabinet at Home Depot that kind of looked like the ones that were in the kitchen. Donna gave me a matching handle that they had on hand to help pull the look together.

Luke really outdid himself! Outstanding service, great concepts and a fantastic design that was within our budget! One of the downfalls to purchasing my first home is that the fact that the house needed tons of TLC. Just like any ambitious first time home owner I knew I could tackle 99% of the home improvements... I couldn't of been more naive! Luckly I found Luke to lead me in the right direction and really improved the value of my home. Additionally, he was very competitive with pricing compared to the "big box" stores. Premium Cabinets and Flooring brings much more to the table than other cabinet and floor suppliers, and ultimately I needed all the help I could get! Luke the owner of Premium Cabinets and Flooring is a great guy. He knows his products and understands how to hone in on what his customers want to ensure the products they purchase meet their needs. The prices Luke offers for the quality of products he sales can not be beat!!! I am always looking for the best possible price for the best possible product. I shopped around for kitchen cabinets and flooring for weeks. I hit all the big box stores, called other companies advertising on craigslist, had multiple contractors come to my home and provide quotes and searched the internet. I spent a lot of time and put serious effort into trying to find a better price for the same high quailty of kitchen cabinetry and flooring.There was nothing better out there. I ended up right back where I started...sitting in front of Luke's desk and buying from Premium Cabinets and Flooring. I am remodeling a foreclosure home I bought a few months ago and it needs a lot of work! My money and my time are precious commodities. I have a budget and a busy life and I manage both carefully. Here are the basic "need to knows" when going to this place. I'll start with the Cons first: 1) Small Showroom 2) Seemed like most everything was custom order. (Could be considered a pro) Pros: 1) Enjoyed working with Luke. Paid attention to my concerns and requests. Seemed pretty laid back. All around nice guy. 2) Quality of cabinets were great. I got the soft close feature and couldn't be happier. 3) This should probably be #1 ...PRICE! Got 3 different quotes and this was the lowest price. All in all great experience. I really felt like Luke valued my business. read more

My husband and I are in our 70s, we built a 1200 square-foot ADU late last year. We have a large kitchen with a lot of cabinets. There was an issue with one of the drawers that would not close properly. The installers had come out on three different occasions to fix it, showed us how to fix it which required us to get on the floor on our backs. We finally became frustrated and decided to call another company to come out and fix the problem. Luckily for us we found Premium Cabinets. A young man showed up at our door the same day. Within just a few minutes he has diagnosed the problem, it was the hardware. We were not surprised. The three previous visits from the original company who had installed our cabinets told us there was nothing wrong with the hardware. Within 15 minutes the problem we had been dealing with, for over a year, was fixed. Let's look at 3 areas 1. Product- we purchased the Chocolate Glaze kitchen cabinets and the Mr and I are very happy with the look and feel. 2. Cost - we did a lot of research so if this is important to you, Premium Cabinets is the place to buy. 3. Customer Service - Luke was a pleasure to do business with, he took the time to answer all our questions and provided samples to help us decide. After seeing Premium cabinets on Yelp I decided to drive up and meet Luke at the shop in Oceanside. He was very helpful and created a quote quickly. I did check out afew different cabinet shops and thought that his was the best value. Luke's great because he under promises and over delivers. He sent out my cabinets before the deadline and had even threw in extra trim parts that I hadn't paid for. The cabinets look amazing and I hope they will last as long as the house. I do wish that Luke had an employee to install his cabinets. I had a bad experience with the independent installer Noe and I'm pretty sure that if Luke was in charge of his own installer, he would have made sure I was better treated. The other minor negative is that I noticed one of the droors had large crack under it. It works fine though and Luke let me know I would have to drive up to his shop to have it fixed. I guess thats a normal warranty situation but I'm not likely going to drive up to Oceanside for a minor issue. Overall I recommend Luke, but not the installer Noe who he works closely with because he underqouted, and didn't complete the work he agreed to do in one day for 2 weeks read more

We finished our cabinets in February 2019. Our experience working with the team at Premium Cabinets was professional. Anytime you have a major project there will always be hiccups along the way. It's important to feel comfortable with all the professional people involved in the project. They listened to our concerns prior to starting, helped with advice on products when we needed it and offered good referrals and contacts at Fergusons. Their cabinets are good quality, semi-customizable. We were able to order a cabinet and Premium Cabinets altered it to fit our space. There were numerous, different groups coming and going from demo people, install people, and granite people. Each of these people working for Premium Cabinets were very professional, neat, and efficient. We kept our footprint and just updated the cabinets and counters. It took 3 weeks from demo to finished kitchen. I highly recommend to at least interview this company if you want to get a project completed. read more

We found Luke on Yelp and decided to give him a call after pricing out cabinets at a few different places. Our first meeting with him went well and we loved the product! Best part was, when he put together the quote, it was within our budget! We absolutely love our new kitchen cabinets. Luke went above and beyond to assist and make sure we were ordering the correct products. He even came to our house twice to measure and re-measure to ensure every cabinet would fit perfectly! They were delivered on time as promised. During installation, Luke was more the willing and available to answer any questions we/our installer had. Luke Erwin...really nice guy...very helpful, very accommodating Great prices on cabinets, huge savings Haven't actually placed my order yet...but I'll let you know how it all pans KS So, today is a week after placing my order and paying Luke in cash for my cabinets .. He estimated that by Friday they'd be assembled and vy Sunday or Monday they be in Oceanside for me to pick up. But, when I called Monday morning yesterday, he told me he was still working on it. Really not his fault, since his guys left for the week due to TG and he was looking for a driver to bring them down from Santa Ana. I told him to please keep me posted and I'm hoping that he'll be calling me today with good news. The cabinets arrived Saturday the 29th...because of rain and Thanksgiving...but they were delivered at. I cost or hassle to me which I was very grateful for. Luke continued open communication with me...throughout , updating me on delivery dates, etc. It was a pleasure doing business with him and I can't wait to see how the cabinets will look in my kitchen! Rarely, do you get much more than you paid for. I searched from Chula Vista to Oceanside looking for the price price on cabinets. I had no idea that the great prices I received would also include great service. This is a GREAT value. Forever Greatful for yelp! as if it wasn't for them I would of continued on my path of bad luck looking for kitchen cabinets. Then one sunny day I found premium cabinets and flooring. I could repeat what most of the reviews already tell..I found Luke and I couldn't be happier. Him and his lovely wife did such a great job explaining to me and my husband the difference between all the choices of cabinets we had and even maximizing the use of storage. prices were reasonable and the end product is amazing...I don't ever want to leave my kitchen. oh and they don't nag you with continuous calls to see if you're going buy from them. that's a major plus. over all great honest, family business. looking fwd to doing business with them once we moved to TX. oh, and he recommends who to install your cabinets. we went with his advice and let Noe (forgot last name) do the job, he did great. he was done with everything in two days only because he works alone. very nice guy wish he had a yelp and I review him too.. read more

Premium Cabinets did an incredible job on our latest kitchen remodel! We have been through a kitchen remodel before and it was an absolute nightmare. Luke was so helpful and professional I did not have to worry a single bit throughout the entire process. Luke came out personally to give us our quote and was immensely helpful with making our ideas come to life. He understood our vision and helped with the entire design process. We shopped around to several different cabinet companies and Premium Cabinets came in well under others, with a much more quality product. Even when minor problems would arise, (expected in any construction) it wasn't any big order change, or haggling about who was going to fix it...they would just say, no problem we'll take care of it. They also did a built in entertainment center for us that turned out absolutely amazing. The TV swings all the way out and can be seen from the kitchen perfectly! Might be my favorite part of the whole project :). The quality of the real wood product, the luxury aesthetics, incredible customer service, and unbelievably affordable bottom line, we could not be more happy with our finished kitchen and the company. I cannot believe the care Premium Cabinets took with us when our home flooded. Amazing service, awesome product, and one of a kind people! We met with Luke the day after our flood happened and he not only helped put us in touch with an honest restoration company (Triskell) but excitedly walked us through the process of our "flood forced" first kitchen remodel. We had no idea how complicated it was, how many trades would be involved (because we made big changes), and made sure everything was coordinated for us. To keep this review simple Luke and Donna redesigned, drew us renderings, helped us with our "style" of cabinets, helped us choose accessories and a beautiful quartz stone, SHOWED US OPTIONS FOR SAVINGS, and truly made everything so easy for us we can't thank them enough. My incredibly beautiful dream kitchen both designed & installed by Premium Cabinets. We Started planning to remodel our 1970's house in December 2014. In February, I found Premium Cabinets on Yelp. We quoted others. Luke designed & helped us create a beautiful kitchen, within our budget. We had changes - Donna had fantastic input - but we're just finishing a huge gut-job. Premium Cabinets installed beautiful quality just to our taste. Noe, the recommended installer, did a fantastic job & I so appreciate their great work-ethic. We couldn't be more thrilled & decided to gut a bathroom & use their cabinetry there as well. Premium cabinets is a great company to work with. Luke and Donna went above and beyond my expectations with their customer service and their product. Luke and Donna were very helpful in making our kitchen dreams come true. My wife and I worked closely with Premium cabinets in making changes to our kitchen and were actually able to stay within our budget, we were able to do all the cabinets in our house as a matter of fact. Both Luke and Donna were really easy to work with and Travis was great too. This review is a little late, but well deserved. After 2 years our cabinets still look and work like new. Luke with Premium Cabinets was great from the beginning. He helped us pick out the cabinets that best suited our home and helped us with the design of our kitchen. The cabinets were delivered just as expected and fit in place just as planned. One cabinet door had a small defect and Luke replaced it for us no problem. I highly recommend using Premium Cabinets. read more

Kitchen is almost finished at this point. Ordered quality cabinets of around $9500, that is pretty much the only positive in dealing with premium cabinets. While Luke and his wife are great people, his business quality is poor. Luke's measurements were wrong, cabinets were not on time and pieces were missing from the order. Every time I called Luke about either missing pieces, wrong measurements, wrong hinges, extra time, manufacturing errors, etc, he would blame someone else. In the end had to pay my installer extra time and 4 weeks later still waiting for missing hardware and decorative pieces that will not be provided as promised. There are plenty other places with quality cabinets and much better service than premium cabinets, that don't make excuses and take accountability for their errors. I was in a hurry moving into a house with five kids, while working. Don't make the same mistake! read more

premium does great work at a great price. the big box store( home depot) wanted to charge $24,000 for just new cabinet doors and pull out drawers, while using veneer covering on the existing 31 year old structure which was mostly particle board. premium cabinets, all new solid wood everything from the ground up, $16,000. dont pay overinflated overhead costs. shop locale. great job premium! great job luke and all the crew! read more

We searched high and low for cabinets. I'm pretty much an expert by now. Don't waste your time and money going to the Big box stores like Home Depot or Lowes. They are really expensive when you compare apples to apples. We went thru about 6 different configurations on our kitchen remodel before finally placing the order. Which means that Luke did 6 revisions to our layout and 6 price quotes. He was very patient with us. In the end the cabinets came in on time and Luke even made arrangements for a special delivery time to accommodate my installers. We did not use his installer because I have a good friend who is a general contractor, and he got me in touch with his Finish Carpenters who did an excellent job. I can refer them if anyone is interested. They work on a lot of high end custom houses and celebrities homes but will do installs on the weekends. I would recommend Luke and Premiumcabinets to anyone read more

As far as price and quality goes, you can't get any better than premium cabinets. They were delivered to my house just in time when I needed them. Everybody is shocked when I tell them how much I paid for the cabinets I have. I know people that have paid twice as much for cabinets of lesser quality. Luke totally helped me lay out my whole kitchen. No particleboard and no crap. Luke seems to be a busy guy so make sure you make an appointment. read more

Premium Cabinets is one of those rare gems of a business that that went out of their way at every opportunity to exceed my expectations. To say that Luke was patient with me and all of my questions would be an understatement. From my initial inquiry/bid some two years would pass before I was finally ready to do my bathrooms renovation and Luke and Donna treated my small job the same way I'm confident they would handle a whole house job. I took my five cabinet job to several vendors and Premium Cabinets while not the lowest was extremely competitive and it really was an easy decision to make as the service I was receiving was priceless. After placing my order my job hit a couple delays and I was very concerned about where I was going to store the cabinets for several weeks while demo and tile work was being completed. Luke stepped up right away and stored them for me with no additional charges! Delivery was handled professionally by Travis and Noe the installer I was referred to was outstanding. I just cant imagine any way I could be more pleased with my experience with Premium Cabinets. Fantastic product, world class customer service from cabinet selection to color choice as well as hardware choices and very competitive prices! Premium Cabinets did a fantastic job with a recent kitchen remodel I asked them to quote. I had first gotten a quote from a big box retailer for cabinet refacing (this will be a rental and I wanted to go low cost) but that price seemed way too high so I called Premium for a second quote. Dan told me, with only seeing pictures I sent him, he was sure they could substantially beat that price and with all new, high quality cabinets. And they did. And the work was terrific and we couldn't be happier with the results. Dan's cabinet installation team (Joe and his wife) demo'd the kitchen in one day and had the cabinets installed the next. Fast, clean and no fuss. Perfect workmanship. Same with the counter top installers. The entire job was done in less than a week after materials arrived and it's beautiful. They should be able to get six stars. And ... the grand total price was more than 25% less than the big box guys' quote for only refacing. Call Premium!! read more

Hands down, Luke is awesome! I know the shop is mostly cabinets now, but he helps service members get some furniture too. He really worked with my wife and I to help get us the best prices for our couch. We did have to wait a while, but it wasn't his fault. I liked his service so much, we went back for a loft bed for my daughter. You gotta trust someone if you let your kids sleep in the bed they ordered you. I highly recommend you go and at least check his shop out. read more

If you are beginning your kitchen or bathroom remodel and need cabinets please send us (or call to tell us) your email address and we'll send you a "self measure kit" that we need in order to give you a rendering and pricing for a chosen cabinet style. We want to make sure someone is in the Showroom to help, so please check in prior to dropping by. We have a unique ability to take a pre made cabinet and make floor plans and some customization's so your kitchen has its own style and look, just like custom cabinets, but for half the price of custom and big box store prices. Give us a call to schedule an appointment today! Please note, we are just a provider of cabinet materials for your specific floor plan we design together, so YOU will be managing who comes into your home to execute those plans. We highly recommend you use qualified installers for cabinets (which we can provide our preferred installers), not necessarily a contractor, but for sure not your landscaper who says they can install your cabinets for cheap! This is a large investment in your home and we hope that you'll take our advice to use the team we have trusted for years to help our customers. If you want excellent customer service and quality products stick with family owned businesses. Luke Erwin and his Premium Cabinets team bears this out in spades! The past year has been tough for all... Covid, Supply Chains, and not enough people to do the work...the list goes on. Premium Cabinets still came through with excellent customer service and superior workmanship. I love my new kitchen! Luke always responded to my slightest concern. He handled changes in most timely fashion. His recommendations were so helpful. And, the pricing is more than fair. His employees have an attention to detail that cannot be matched by those big box stores or even other somewhat small business we contacted. We consulted with several other cabinet suppliers/installers before we decided to go with Premium Cabinets. Premium Cabinets was/is the right choice! We've just finished our second project with Premium Cabinets and it turned out just as we expected, it looks awesome! This time we did our laundry room. We were at a loss. Couldn't figure out how to best use this little space. We went to Luke and Donna and they came up with an amazing open space idea for us, and we'd never thought of it if we hadn't gone to see these two wonderful people! Took only a week to get our all wood cabinets, omg, we love the style and quality! Donna helped me pick out matching Quartz counter tops and a really neat glass backsplash. I am so pleased that we discovered Premium Cabinets in Oceanside. We LOVE our new kitchen. It was such a great experience to work with Luke and his team who made sure the whole process went smoothly. We recently decided to upgrade our kitchen cabinets, after visiting some of the big name stores and getting almost shell shock by the prices,we came across Premium cabinets and flooring. The owner Luke was very helpful throughout the whole order process, even when we realised we had ordered a wrong size cabinet, he very graciously said it wasn't a problem to change the order, he even gave us extra finishing pieces at no extra charge. We have had different contractors coming to do other work in our house and they have all commented on how good the cabinets are. I would definitely recommend Premium cabinets to family and friends, one for the value and the other for our experience with the owner, Luke. The kitchen is not quite finished, but as soon as it is I will post pictures of how great the cabinets look. read more

Our cabinets are beautiful and high quality. Very Durable interms of paint and wood. The soft close features are awesome. We loved workign with Luke and Donna. They were super friendly, honest and helpful with the design. They definetly know what they are doing. The prices are better than most surrounding home depot, lowes and custom cabinet places and the quality is equal. We had a very complicated large triangle shaped islandand they were able to make the cabinets fit perfectly. Would definelty recommend them. For the past two years I have been a very loyal customer to this place. The owner is absolutely wonderful! Luke is kind and very helpful and will go way out of his way for his customers. The products that he has is very nice high quality. I recently had my kitchen and floors done with cabinets that he had custom made with glass installed and they are so beautiful and elegant and the floor is wonderful as well. Very reasonably priced and I will recommend that if you want amazing service and great prices and much more like custom cabinets with glass go see them you will not regret it. read more

Luke was GREAT!! We found him on Craigslist searching for a cheaper way to find quality cabinets. We ran across his ad for miscellaneous cabinets, and by total luck he had the sizes we needed. Couldn't believe it! We thought for sure we'd have to order a couple pieces. Normally he would order but we found a way to make his current inventory work for our little space! We are in possession of a ruling from the contractors state licensing board that luke erwin dba premium cabinets has been "found to be both unlicensed in calif and in violation of one or more sections of the calif business and professions code" he will be directed to pay a civil penalty assessment. The citation also orders him to cease all unlicensed contracting activity. His web site continues to show he is licensed and insured but not at what. We were going to change the countertop and backsplash because we thought the cabinets the last owner put in were still in decent shape. Literally on the day we were moving out so the remodel could begin, I saw a piece of filler board in the corner of our kitchen that looked like it was detaching and I was able to just pick it right up and saw how worn our cabinetry actually was. Yikes!!! We realized then and there that we didn't want to put new quartzite countertops on the old cabinetry. I remembered my friend telling me about Mark and what a fantastic job he did on her kitchen remodel project. I immediately texted my friend to get Mark's phone number and called him asap. Mark answered the phone and took time right then and there to talk with us. With the clear goal of what was in our best interest, he went into detail on why we would be happier in the long run not putting beautiful new countertops on top of our old cabinetry and it got me to thinking that this was an opportunity to re-configure our kitchen, which turned out to be probably the favorite part of our entire remodel. We opened up part of the wall that separated our kitchen and dining room and the change is dramatic and such a real game-changer livability-wise for our space. Mark promptly got plans ready for us and even managed to squeeze us into his busy schedule for the production and installation so that we could move back in by a date that had already been pushed back numerous times due to our evolving additions to the work being done. Anyone who has been through a significant remodel knows that you just can't put a price on having a contractor care for your situation like Mark did for us. Additionally, I have environmental sensitivities and Mark took every care along the way to make sure he was using eco-friendly materials that would keep our space healthy. He used Rubio Monocoat oil (we went with Cotton White) to finish the cabinets at my request. My husband and I are over-the-top happy with the end result and grateful that Mark was so open to making cabinets that were not just beautiful to look at but also environmentally conscious. Mark is a complete joy to work with, has patience to infinity and beyond, and is extremely responsible. His prices are very reasonable and any challenge along the way (such as figuring out how to get both a recycling bin and a trash bin in our very small space for those two items) was an opportunity for Mark to figure out a solution. Never once did we feel like we were bothering him with all of our requests. Openness in our design was a bigger priority for my husband and me than storage, and Mark did everything he could to maximize our space and give us our dream kitchen. It's impossible to recommend Mark highly enough. If you want to work with someone who does gorgeous work, is incredibly dependable, gives you peace of mind and no stress, and will do everything he can to get your job done as quickly as possible, be sure to put Mark's phone number on speed dial for your next cabinetry project.
