AMAZING HIGH QUALITY MATCHA!! Best matcha ice cream soft serve. I'll be returning for it!! I ordered the Shaved Ice, not a fan of the ice texture... I wish it was soft... but the flavor was great. The cashier made sure to emphasize on the size of this item, and that it could've be put in a to-go cup. Well, he wasn't wrong, this is a big portion, definitely big enough to share with 2 or 3 people! I ate about half then let the ice melt and drank it. I will return for the matcha soft serve and to try some food items!
They have better employees now who listen, ask clarifying questions, and confirmed my order concisely. However their picture menu all look very similar except the shaved ice. Please fix the menu because it's highly confusing. The atmosphere has not changed at all since coming almost half a year ago.

Newer to the Matcha scene and this place will become one of my matcha places. Came here once with my young adult kids (without really knowing or appreciating matcha) and now that I'm exploring more matcha and expanding my palate with different matcha cafes, can say a revisit to this cafe was now appreciated. Love all the matcha drink varieties, but especially love more the the earthy, premium matcha drinks where the sugar content can be modified (0-50-100). Also grateful for the matcha story sourcing. Great Matcha cafe!
If you like matcha you have to visit this cafe! It is your go to for anything matcha related- drinks, ice cream, desserts! When me and my cousins arrived there on a Saturday afternoon it was busy! I really wanted to try the matcha ube ice cream sundae, the pricing was as expected. When the ice cream sundae came it was big!! Much bigger than expected- we shared this with four people and it was a good decision because the sweetness makes limited to what you can eat. There was crunchy Oreo crumbles, chewy mochi balls, moist matcha cake pieces, and more. My husband got a matcha latte- they have a lot of seasonal drinks. The day we went it seemed to be a market day so at the back of the cafe there were vendors selling Japanese trinkets like stickers, keychains, etc. I wish there was one near my house because I love matcha and it has all matcha related desserts and drinks, everything was delicious!!
I have a location back home, so it's always nice to stop in when im living in other states. This one was great! I usually get a drink but I opted for their ube ice cream and it was great! Good ube flavor and good ice cream texture. There's a good amount of seating, and there's also a cute photobooth! By the cash register, there's also a little diy section where you can pick out charms to make keychains or clips.
As a real matcha lover I was so excited to try this and it didn't disappoint fully. The K-Dog was absolutely delicious!! The potato one with half sausage and mozzarella was so great! The hot cheese would have been better with the mozzarella or half and half. The matcha latte was good I personally hate oat milk and that was the only option. I feel if I would have tired it with a different milk such as almond may have enjoyed it more. The matcha taste was not as strong but it had good flavor. I tried my brother's drink he got a banana pudding matcha it was good but definitely diabetes in a drink. They have something for everyone. If you like real matcha drink this place is good. But if you prefer a sweet drink and dessert this is your place too! If I were to go back definitely to try the ice cream next and get another K-Dog!
The ube and matcha are def both worth checking out. Suggest going to revolving sushi spot next door and coming here for dessert. You walk in, the menu is on the right on a screen. I've only had the matcha soft serve and ube soft serve. They were both delicious. The person at the register was kind to offer a sample. Overall a pretty chill spot. There's seating indoors or outdoors if you want to pick your spot depending on the temp outside.

The majority of their drinks are cold, you have to ask an employee about hot drink options. My husband and I both ordered the soft serve ice cream. They have matcha flavor, Ube flavor, or mix of both. I got the mixed and my husband ordered just the ube flavor. The place itself isn't too big but there's enough seating and there's also a cool Photo Booth that takes up a good amount of space. They even have props like headbands and glasses for the Photo Booth. There are board games and card games too. Super cute matcha cafe! Service was ok. Overall good experience.
Delicious soft serve ice cream and other frozen treats. I love how they decorate and always have some special celebration going on that makes it festive. The matcha is just like the ones in Japan albeit more expensive. Note that you will be spending anywhere from $6-10 depending on what you choose and how many toppings. The inside has lots of seating and water so it's a great place to meet friends. Besides matcha they have other flavors like ube and snacks.

Expensive but ugh it's worth it with how hard it is to find good matcha in SA. Love their ube x matcha mixes and it's nice that they have stamp cards. I also love their photo booth (with accessories!) and how they host mini vendors on the weekend. The place itself is a casual spot and looks a little run down but service is always friendly.
Great and fast service, super friendly and patient workers. The decorations are so cute and its a nice place to sit and work. I got the coffee cloud match and its delicious! 10/10.

Still think this is the best matcha in town! I love the floats.. it's a good combo of both ice cream and some drink. Just a word of caution, there's very little liquid! I like the latte more than the tea! It's just smoother. The service is quick. There's usually a cashier as well as a touch screen you can order on. Overall the place is cute for a first date. From time to time there are vendor fairs with cute anime and Kpop merch! read more

This store feels like it could be in LA or NYC! I love their swirled ice cream. I have tried the Matcha swirled with Ube and with their limited edition Peach. I have also tried their Maiko special which includes matcha ice cream, small chiffon cake cubes, mochi! And shaved ice. It's a fun way to try multiple things, but it's probably more value to just get their ice cream swirls, because sometimes they add a lot of shaved ice. I also tried their Hojicha float, which has matcha ice cream over hojicha latte! You can definitely taste the hojicha. The ice cream is a fun way to add some sweetness and creaminess. I most recently tried their strawberry matcha. It was on their chalkboard of employee recommended drinks, which I think is so fun! The matcha was nice and strong. I thought it would have a strawberry jam, but I only noticed a few starbwerry pieces. Maybe they used a strawberry syrup? Or not at all. I wish the strawberry flavor was more apparent. Matcha Cafe MAIKO was my first visit thanks to my cousins bringing me here, and overall it was a great experience. I'm personally not a big matcha fan. I've tried it many times and it just never works out for me, but fortunately they also offer UBE, so I stuck with what I know and enjoy. I ordered the UBE soft serve with Oreo cookie toppings, and it was delicious--smooth, creamy, and not overly sweet. Taro and UBE are always safe favorites for me. I also tried the Hot Cheetos Rice Hotdog, which was excellent. It was very filling and only $5, which is hard to beat. The flavor and texture combination worked really well. One of my cousins ordered the Banana Pudding Matcha, UBE soft serve, Potato Hotdog, and a Matcha tea, and somehow finished everything. My other cousin ordered the Crème Brûlée Matcha, which didn't quite hit for her this time. My spouse ordered the Maiko Special (half matcha, half UBE) with additional toppings and fillings and enjoyed it a lot, as she always does. The shop itself is cute, cozy, and comforting, and the staff was very welcoming and friendly. Even if matcha isn't your thing, there are still plenty of options worth trying. We will definitely be back. read more

Premium Matcha Cafe Maiko is a definite must try! I got the Matcha Maiko Special which had matcha soft serve, mochi balls, cereal flakes, jelly and red bean. The matcha was strong and you get a lot for the price. The store is also really big with plenty of seating. They also have a cute Korean Photo Booth too! I came on a very busy day and the dessert still came out pretty fast. read more

Ambiance is very floral and cutesy for those Insta photos. Seatings are limited so people often take their items to-go. Definitely recommend! read more

The drinks were so incredible, we couldn't leave without getting one for the road. Not too sweet - tastes authentic, they're using high quality matcha! Our drinks came out pretty fast despite it being packed. The flavors are so creative and drinks look adorable. read more

It can be a lot to decide from and the woman at the register was really helpful. They have a fun Photo Booth here and lots of indoor seating. Came on a Sunday afternoon with my friend as she had an IV appointment nearby. I've been to a couple of Matcha Cafe Maikos in the Bay Area this past October so I was craving a cool treat. I went straight for the Matcha Soft Serve and my friend had an Ube Soft Serve. The Matcha was tasty and the Ube had a hint of a nutty flavor and sweeter. I'd say the soft serve prices are a bit higher here than in the Bay Area. The setup is the same with a kiosk you could order thru or the counter. I was going to order thru the kiosk and proceeded but stopped because I was going to ask what the free Trick or Treat add-on was? I ended up going to the counter and the male clerk asked what it was but the employees said it was only during Halloween. They hadn't removed it from the kiosk interface. Service was prompt and there was ample seating inside. It started to get busy after about 5 minutes and folks started coming in. There's some outdoor seating as well. They have some Hello Kitty trinkets and I think a vendor was selling some stuff too. read more
Food Got the soft serve and boy it was SO GOOD! the matcha was earthy and the ube was creamy and a subtle coconut flavor to tame the matcha. It was perfect! I recommend to those who enjoy matcha and ube. Ube was not too over powering which is a plus! 5/5 Service Got what I wanted. Im happy and satisfied. They are friendly. Ambiance Went on a Thursday afternoon. Pretty quiet. They have a photo booth and a water/sauce station that you can help yourself to!! Great amount of seating and perfect for taking pictures! Felt like I've been missing out on the Soft Served Matcha since I've only ever ordered the Matcha Latte. We dropped in after having lunch at Wild Gogi for some soft served Matcha. Two weeks ago I bought their mixed Maiko Special, love it, enjoyed it a lot not too sweet with just the right amount of ingredients on my medium cup. Too bad they could have received a five star rating from me if I posted my review back then. But today, exactly two weeks ago, the same day Friday at about the same time, I ordered another Maiko Special, mixed ube and matcha soft serve ice cream and alas, what an unpleasant surprise, hollow, empty just air inside. I didn't asked them why nor complained, thought it's how they serve it but recalling my cup two weeks ago, it wasn't hollow at all. After reading several reviews here, I decided to post my own. Perhaps unless they read reviews here, but I could only hope. The least they could do is reply and apologize here or explain, as a courtesy. The three star is just for the customer service, cleanliness including the single bathroom and the overall taste. Absolutely two less stars for the "huge" cavernous space inside my cup of Maiko Special, though literally it's not "special" because it's hollow, just air, it looked a huge serving until I scooped several times revealing the emptiness inside... read more
Just okay to me, nothing crazy. It's a HUGE cup and lots of different textures. The matcha flavor is solid but the ube flavor was lacking. The cereal adds a really nice crunch but I wish it was plain instead of frosted flakes bc it's a bit too sweet. Good mochi read more
