Since I wanted a special order of margarita cupcakes, I sent her an email to see if that would be possible. I received a quick and enthusiastic yes! Oh wow were her cupcakes fabulous - and she told me when she delivered that this was her first time making them - you wouldn't have known that by how perfect they were, down to the small slice of real sugared lime on top. My colleagues raved and several may have had more than two cupcakes when I wasn't looking. Her frosting was the perfect balance of sweet without being heavy. One colleague even ordered another dozen (in a different flavor) the following week. And all of my colleagues were still taking about the margarita cupcakes in our final day in town. She set up a time for me to pick up that fit my schedule and walked them out to my car when I arrived. So charming! They were so big, each roll could feed 1-2 people! They came pre baked along with instructions for reheating and a piping bag of cream cheese icing to pipe on the warm rolls. So cute! The packaging made it nice to take as a gift, too. Our family loved them and will be requesting them again next year. Currently DoughBaby is housing out of a catering location on Broadway. I'm delighted to hear they will be opening a brick and mortar location in spring 2026. Can't wait to visit.

I ended up getting a slice of red velvet cake and a strawberry lemon cupcake, both were so delicious! If summer was a flavor it would be that cupcake! I can't wait to come back and try new flavors as well as the cookies because they looked SO good.
