They also paint if owner provides the paint. The other two contractors said they had to drill holes from inside the house (oh no, we had just patched out walls after the electrical work). Then they use a cork foam type backing to put in the holes as a vapor barrier and close it with stucco patch. Then comes the texture followed by primer.
