We all have termites in CA, so when I saw the termite droppings around my patio, i decided to call few exterminator companies to come out and give me a quote, and I can't be happier that I chose Premium Termite & Pest Control. Joel showed up exactly on time with 15 min pre-arrival call, explained to me what he's going to do, and literally spent 2 hours going through every corner of my house with extended pole looking for hidden infestation and wood damage. He went through every rooms in my house looking for termites, and then changed into his over-all checking my underground basement for not only termites but other rodents. He then gave me a thorough report with his expert recommendation. While I had great reservation about tenting because of my fear of roof tile breakage, he convinced me that was the best way to mitigate further termite damage, and he promised to get me the best and the most careful fumigators, and he delivered - we have 4150 sq ft. house, and we got away with ONE broken tile. Joel even hooked me up with a roofing company who came and evaluated my roof to ensure that my roof was sound and recommended other unrelated repair to prevent leakage. This company is fantastic - they are the most professional, honest and reliable termite company I've worked with in my 10+ year Real Estate career - and I've worked with 50+ different such groups over the years. We had a pre-listing termite inspection done with Premium Termite prior to listing a client's house that showed no findings. However, 4 months later when we got the home into escrow, the Buyer conducted their own inspection with a different company who came up with 3 little findings and recommended the home be tented and fumigated for $5500. We called Premium Termite back, and the owner himself, Joel, went back out to reinspect. He scoured the home and attic on hands and knees and told me he couldn't find absolutely anything. So he wrote us a completion report with no findings and $0 recommended work. It can be hard to find reputable companies in this industry at times, but I have found just that with Joel and Premium Termite. My1960s house has needed a lot of professional work over the years, but this is my first 5-star review of a home improvement company. From the response to my initial contact to the thorough and informative paperwork, to the completed job and cleanup, the quality of service I got from Premium Termite and Pest Control is simply extraordinary. I opted for local treatment of termites and termite damage, which is much more labor-intensive than fumigation. Joel Allen, one of the company owners, did the inspection and all the work himself. Punctual to the minute and always pleasant, Joel worked in the crawl space under the house and in the attic, and on tall ladders under the roof of the garage, for almost seven hours with hardly a break. In fact he had underestimated the duration of the treatment by two hours, as he had no access to the walls of the garage (where most of the damage was) at the time of the inspection. I offered to pay extra but he wouldn't take a penny over the written estimate. I couldn't recommend this company more strongly. read more
