I love Italian food and Stacco House has been on my list of new (to me) places to visit for quite…read moresome time. Yesterday, I decided that I would not be cooking dinner and instead opted to order pizza and dessert to be picked up on my way home. This is such a cute, quaint little shop located in a tiny strip mall next to a gas station. So very unassuming, yet quite impressive. I loved the two cute yellow tables and chairs out on the sidewalk as well as the Sinatra that was playing when I entered the shop. I was greeted warmly and let me say how much I value a pleasant and genuine interaction like that. Someone came to the front of the store from the kitchen in the back, and she too greeted me with a very welcoming and warm smile. This fact alone makes me want to return and support this place of business. My pizzas were prepared fresh and handed to me hot out of the oven. The deserts, an assortment of 3 different kinds of cookies as well as two slices of cake, were kept separate and cold. My husband loved the pizza (he is somewhat of a connoisseur) and I enjoyed it as well. The carrot cake was a bit dense for my liking and the pistachio ricotta was decadent. My husband really enjoyed these sweet treats as a night cap! I loved the cookies. I ordered the Peanut Butter Brownie Swirl cookie, the Pistachio Chocolate Crunch cookie, and two of the Pistachio Thumbprint cookies. My personal favorite was the Pistachio Chocolate Crunch cookie. It had a great contrast in texture with the soft-baked cookie being perfectly complemented by the crunch of the pistachio pieces, and it wasn't overly sweet. I'll definitely be back to try more cookies, cakes and pastries in the future! They also carry some authentic imported Italian products, such as pomodoro sauce.

Highlights were the black & white cookie, Italian cookie, and lemon curd cookie. The chocolate truffle and dipped chocolate cookie were loved by my husband and my friend loved the pistachio cannoli! I will 100% be back and they had a cookie platter that I plan to order for my next gathering!

Super friendly staff. We chatted with the hostess for a bit about the other Family of Grindstone restaurants. We started with the short rib poutine. We had it last year and frequently joke we need more than 1. The meat is so tender and there is a good amount of it on the dish. The app has plenty to share for the three of us adults. I also love the added touch of the scallions. For our meals, I had the Jambalaya pasta which was a large serving with plenty of meat, my husband had the tenderloin sandwich (which was massive and the best he said he has ever had on all of his trips to Indy) and our friend had the piggy melt grilled cheese (Mac and cheese and pulled pork!) That sandwich had incredible flavor and I said I'm getting that next time. We ended the meal with bread pudding bites as the photos on here looked delicious and the waitress recommended them. They certainly did not disappoint. The restaurant has a bit of a nicer vibe and there are certainly some people that were there dressed better than us, but it is not a stuffy atmosphere. Delicious food for very reasonable prices. Good beer selection as well.

It's 3 stars because the salmon was undercooked and somehow looked like chicken on top and pink in the middle. I had to send it back. We requested the sweet potato fries be well done and they were not. The manager was great and very accommodating as was our server. I just want to be able to enjoy the food. The strawberries in the salad didn't seem fresh. They were mushy and I didn't want to eat them. If I go back it will probably be for drinks and maybe appetizers only. The zucchini bread that comes with the salad was really good.

When it comes to the ambiance, the store is always very orderly and clean, and the prepared foods and salad bar come in clutch for a grab and go lunch or quick and easy dinner. I often times grab some of the prepared wraps and appreciate that this location includes packets of mayonnaise and mustard, which are a true game-changer. It can take a nourishing lunch option from bland to grand!

I do love me a fancy grocery store. If I thought that you'd know what I was talking about, I would…read moresay that Market District is almost exactly like the Gelson's of the Midwest. But only two Midwesterners I know would know what I'm talking about, and both of them don't read my Yelp reviews, so I'm not going to say that. (Unless you lived in SoCal, too? And you know Gelson's? If so, high five!) So! For our purposes, Market District is like an upscale Kroger. This Market District is much smaller than the Market District in Carmel. I was walking around, looking at all of the pretty food, and before I knew it, I had made a complete lap around the store. But even though it's pint-sized, there are still lots of great things all around. The bakery, especially, has lots of delicious-looking goodies. The meat section is tiny but tidy. The one section that seems abundant is the wine and liquor section. I saw some nice bottles of red wine. When I walked by the shelf-stable alternative milk, I was a little shocked to see so many varieties. Walnut milk, cashew milk, pistachio milk, sunflower milk, oat milk and even banana milk! That's not even all of them, either. This is the place to get your milks. It's nice to have a Market District in Westfield so close to Grand Park. This area felt like something was missing, and it was definitely a grocery store.
