The appt time was to be fully set up by 6:30pm that day and so, needless to say, I was not able to replace her and hire another company that quickly. What had happened was her car broke down and so she wasn't able to cater my event? But here's the thing... after tip and everything, she was going to be making over $1,000. And most of that is labor and service. It's not supplies. So most of that is all profit for her time. At least $500 of it after tip. So it just blows my mind how she couldn't even rent a U-Haul truck or something to get it done! If this is your business, wouldn't it be a good idea to have a backup plan in case your car ever breaks down? I mean, if this is your line of work and you are 100% dependent on your car, then it would only be common sense and Business 101 too have a backup plan in place should your car ever break down. And even then, it's not too hard to pick up the phone and call U-Haul so that you can go through with a booking!!! The problem I mostly had with her is that she treated the cancelation so lightly as if my anniversary was not that big of a deal. When she called me to cancel, she told me "at least I am telling you right now this early in the day" as if booking another company to do the same thing was possible. Meanwhile, I was already at the beach (because my wife and I were spending the night so we have all of our camping gear there) and she is trying to tell me that if I drive out to a beach in LA, that she can probably help me out. Are you kidding me??? RENT A TRUCK! RENT A TRUCK! RENT A TRUCK! This is what you should have done. And me being already planted at the beach with all my stuff meant I couldn't exactly pick up and go do something else. So yeah, I tried to scramble and do something but all I could do in that situation was go our to Fisherman's Restaurant for dinner and that's what we did. But that is sooooo basic! I had a whole romantic picnic planned! I feel like this girl (who goes by Jenny but her real name is Herminia Galvez) ruined the level of wow-factor I had planned for my anniversary! And then like I said, to top it off, to play it off like it was no big deal because you're telling me 8 hours before the scheduled event, that it's no big deal! Just wow!! Couldn't believe it! And then there is the whole communication thing. I had shipped some stuff from Amazon to her house that I wanted as part of the setup. She told me to create the return and she would drop if off at Kohl's. She told me which one was closer to her house and so I arranged it. It took her almost 3 weeks to do it! And this is after her telling me over and over and over that she will do it on this or that day. My event was for 7-3-21 and she finally did it on 7-19-21. I would warn everyone about working with this girl. She is extremely unprofessional. Overall, very bad experience.

This review is 100% honest. We got married at The Loft on Pine a few weeks ago, and if anyone is getting married there you NEED to work with Green Apple! She has a lot of experience with the venue, she used to work there, and knows all the little details and rules. We chose their Simply Coordination Services, and along with our two helpful in-person meetings, Meghan and her team were easy to reach by phone and email with any questions or needs. I never felt like I was inconveniencing them with questions or concerns, and everyone was quick to respond. She also gave great suggestions and advice on how to set up our day. The Loft on Pine's standard hours given for a wedding is 5 hours, and I was nervous that we wouldn't have a lot of time for dancing, which was super important for me. Also, she gave the excellent recommendation of hiring DartDJ. They are incredible! At the rehearsal, Meghan was super patient and made it quick and fun. My husband is one of 7 and we had about 8 little ones in our wedding, so you can only imagine how hectic it could have been. She also helped us store our own decor on site. The day of couldn't have gone better! I honestly can't recall anything going wrong, and if it did Meghan handled it so none of us were aware. Even my father, who has pretty high expectations and is the first to point out when things feel like they're dragging, was so impressed with the flow of the wedding and reception. Meghan was that brilliant and creative mind to engineer our dream wedding. Meghan and her team are very experienced and it is evident in their work. They helped us stay on top of so many small details that we would have otherwise overlooked or not been aware of at all. She is familiar with all of the modern and current styles in the industry, from signage to florals, but her vision goes so far beyond delivering you an "on trend" wedding. She incorporates so much of the personality and creative tastes of the couples she works with, and this was very apparent in our finished product. We worked with Meghan on a full-planning service and she was by our side from a week after our engagement all the way until the dance floor cleared on our wedding night. I love that you can provide your own catering, we had our family business cater the food for our event and that was nice because no other venues we looked at allowed that. Our wedding coordinator Katie put in so much work for our wedding and we are so grateful for everything she did for us. She gets things done! My best tip for someone looking to book is to be very organized and clear with every item you want if you are planning to bring your own decor, they are great and will get it done! But being organized will make things easier. The venue closes at 10pm, but we were able to book an area 12 minutes away at one of the bars in Downtown Fullerton. We had a good turnout of guests there for the After Party! We got so much compliments on our beautiful wedding and ceremony, and many compliments on the venue. We started planning our July wedding in January 2022, and we wanted to have everything outside so that guests wouldn't worry about masking indoors during the time of Covid. The Griffith House has huge space for everything. The other great thing that others have already mentioned is that, other than table, chair, and bar rentals, you get to choose your own vendors and bring your own alcohol - provided you pay for their bartender and security, of course. You do have to work with (and pay) one of their in-house day-of coordinators from Hutchinson Weddings, but Amy, who we we worked with, was very helpful working through the rentals that we used from the venue, as well as coordinating our outside vendors on the day of the wedding. We really wanted to choose our own caterer and bakeries, to choose wines and beers that we liked, and to bring my own pro audio equipment for the ceremony and music. The Griffith House let us do all that.
