Had a girls breakfast a few weeks ago. Loved the food and the atmosphere. The wait staff was wonderful too. BUT...we were asked to leave. They had a big party coming in and needed the table. No one else was asked to leave just us. I have never been asked to leave a restaurant before in my life. And I have spent many an hour waiting for a table (even with a reservation). It's a dining cardinal sin to ask a guest to leave for other guests. I hate to play the race/gender card. Our entire table I'das gluten free. Our server went the extra 10 miles to double confirm everything we ordered/sampled was gluten free. Recommend the potatoes fries (name?) the lavendar latte and the gluten free pancakes. New Press and Plow location in Edmond-- this was my first time trying this place. Was slightly wary about going as there were a few google reviews noting some issues with prolonged service times or food being served cold due to the delays. However, I had a very pleasant experience this first visit. We reserved ahead of time online as we planned to go during a busy Sunday brunch hour, which made seating very quick and easy. Ambiance was also nice. No booths, only tables and bar seating but clean and comfortable. The waiter we had seemed new so was not very familiar with the menu but nonetheless he along with the staff were very courteous in assisting us with any questions we had. It took about 10 minutes or so for drinks/food to be brought to our table after we ordered and the location manager did stop by the table a couple times to ensure everything was going well for us. Overall, great customer service. The food was just as great! As is known, neighborhood jam is just around the corner so this place needs to stay competitive with their taste. I ordered the Belgian Waffle (as shown in the photo) and the Lavender Kiss coffee which has white mocha, lavender, and honey in it. All very sweet items but none of them were overly sweet which was perfect. Same with the French Toast that we ordered, sweet but not too sweet that it seems excessive. The taste for these items definitely matched standards of other high quality breakfast locations in the vicinity. Will definitely come back in the future to try out their other items! read more

I've tried PNP a handful of times, now, to give them the chance to do better because I like the atmosphere. We frequently go to Jam for breakfast/brunch and have been seeing the Press & Plow sign up for like over a year. They finally opened this Jun/Jul 2024 and we decided to give it a try. We were there at 8am Sat and it was pretty empty except for one other table. They greeted us nicely and said we can sit wherever we choose, which I loved. I ordered the decaf cafe latte, which I took a sip and it was lukewarm. I asked the waitress if she could nuke it and she said it was not decaf so she took it and went to get me another one. Thank goodness she was honest about it, or I would be jittery with a racing heart for the rest of the day. Hubs got the Chocolate-Covered Cherry Coffee, which was not bad, you can taste the "chocolate-covered cherry" taste, but it also was a little too lukewarm. I got the Huevos Rancheros, which they had a different take with the beans underneath the crispy tortillas. It was okay. Hubs got the Benedict, which was disappointing with the yolk overcooked so he only ate one. As the morning progressed, more and more patrons showed up, many choosing to eat at the outside patio since it was a nice day. By the time we left around 9am the place was almost half full. read more

Visited this place on a Saturday at 10:00 with some girlfriends. It was pretty busy but not packed or a line out the door, but we had also made a reservation. The acoustics were terrible and I felt like I was having to yell and struggled to hear my friends. The food was presented well but, to me, tasted about the same as any breakfast diner. Nothing to write home about. I asked for my eggs to be over medium and got scrambled. I didn't correct the issue, because of time, business, and because I still will eat scrambled eggs. Had they been sunny side or poached, up they would have been sent back. Lastly the menu prices (physically in my hands and online) did not match my bill. Press and Plow breakfast was listed for $12, I was charged 14. Mimosas to share was listed for $25, I was charged (my portion) of $40. Quite the difference. Overall won't be returning. read more

This place is another over hyped, understaffed, unorganized, soon the be closed business. Waited at the front counter for 10 minutes before being addressed and seated. Sat, at this point still patiently, at the table for another 10 minutes before being told "I'll be right with you." Five minutes later ordered coffee. Five more minutes received coffee. Ten minutes after that was asked if we're ready to order. How the hell wouldn't we be ready at this point? So we ordered at exactly 11:40 am (Sunday aug 2nd). Asked at 12:10 about or our order as parties we watched be seated 15 minutes after us get their food. Was told we have several tickets still in front of us. Twenty minutes later we told them we're are leaving. The waiter we had was too busy screwing around - as we could see him - flirting with the other waitresses. You can't wait on tables if you spend ten minutes at a time at the computers. So showed up at 1110 and left at 1220 without any food. And even when we asked before we left, no ETA for the food, "still more tickets ahead." Ridiculous. Read all the reviews. Take note of the common themes on the real reviews - any not five stars. In person, I've had their benedict, little atypical because served in a dutch baby and their vegetable frittata w/ duck fat potatoes. All good and light. For coffee I've had their iced or hot version of the plow, the honeybee, and Cookie Monster. Most likely all of them are on the sweeter side, but I usually get them less sweet. All had great flavor. We decided to give Press and Plow a try since they have been open a few weeks. Breakfast on a Saturday morning, reservations were easy to get last minute. The first thing that hit me when we entered was the noise level! It was deafening. The menu is simple. I ordered a mimosa. It was refreshing with pineapple juice instead of traditional orange: the scrambled eggs are very orange. That was a little strange but they tasted fine. The toast served with the breakfast was dry and crumbly and the strawberry basil jelly...not my liking. I don't know why anyone would put basil in strawberry jelly. The ham was paper thin and so chewy I gave up. Left it on my plate. Neighborhood Jam is right behind and next time we will just go there: Press and Plow is okay but not better than other restaurants close by. Glad we tried it and will possibly try again but next time opt for sausage. read more
