    Cortado, dulce de leche latte
    Cynthia T.

Great ambiance, great service. Cute, a little quirky, but also a little peaceful. I had today (a Friday) off, so I picked Rose Hip Market to visit, since I had never ventured here before. The shop is very aesthetically pleasing. Cookbooks, mugs, and sauces adorn pink shelves, and the fridges have other various eats including wine. A very funny encounter when I walked in: Since the shop was mostly empty, I caught the staff in the middle of recording a a video for either instagram or tiktok. They seemed a little embarrassed, but I thought it was cute. They quickly went into work-mode - so it's not like they blew me off to do their thing. :) Menu is run-of-the-mill. A quick glance at the back showed me the syrups looked homemade. I didn't see a "Torani" syrup bottle in sight! Some interesting looking treats occupied the pastry case, including a brownie topped with marshmallow. I opted for a lemon olive oil cake. I ordered my standard: A cortado and a latte. I selected dulce de leche syrup to go with my latte. The barista was very sweet. She carefully brought me my drinks and set them on the table. The cortado was a little thin and watery. It was subtle, and there was no bite. I mean, at least it wasn't bitter? If you're new to cortados, I guess this would be a good place to start with if you want to get into them. It went down a little too easily, much like me when I take a benadryl. The dulce de leche latte was delicious. Not overly sweet, but enough to taste the flavor. The temperature in both drinks was also perfect. Nothing's worse than a scalding hot beverage that burns your tongue, and then that rough texture sits with you for the rest of the day. Feliz Modern is next door - so if you're in the mood for some shopping, these two spots are a great spot to do just that.

Tucked in Olmos park location, this place is so hip! I loved the ambience and vibe. I ordered the saffron rose latte and a bagel with egg and cream cheese (don't remember the name) to go. But, the atmosphere was so good that I decided to stay back and enjoy my breakfast. I liked what I got and also appreciate the friendly service. A must check out coffee spot! Oh yeah, they have many other goodies as well. Don't forget to checkout the mystery book dates!

They are one move away from getting the last star... I told the young lady I wanted to have a coffee with whole milk and an espresso shot with cinnamon. She proceeded to make me a most excellent latte and while doing so was so very kind and personable. it was $8.66 and i tipped 2 dollars. It was probably ten ounces of actual liquid, yummy as it was. I asked on the way outt for a top off with house coffee. She said that since I did not order a house coffee that this could not be done. I cannot be a regular customer at this price unless I can get some sort of cheap refill. Am I the only customer who requests this these days? Should there not be some house coffee on standby for this request? Otherwise, this is a lovely place with a lot of barista skill behind it!

New favorite spot!! I've been here a few times and the coffee is always delicious and the people so friendly. I love their house made syrups- such tasty combinations like vanilla cinnamon and lavender rosemary (don't knock it until you try it!). They offer an assortment of pastries, food options from the cooler, and an array of goodies you can buy from local makers ranging from accessories to mugs to books. They've also been doing events in the evening lately which have been a lot of fun. Their parking lot is a little small but it's fairly easy to park on the street on the opposite side from them. I'm looking forward to my next coffee stop!

I stopped by this adorable coffee shop with my mom a few weeks go when I was visiting family in San Antonio. It's almost too charming for words (little girls who are into pink and frilly things would be very into this spot). We each got a coffee or tea (they have some fun coffees on the menu) and did a little shopping while we waited (I bought a Texas wine they had that looked interesting and eyed some other charming tchotchkes). The service was great (the staff member who helped us was really friendly) as well. It's a little small to be a great place to work for a long period (but two people there when we visited did look like they'd been there a while with laptops), but it's a really cute place for a coffee for there or to go! (There is also some outside seating that wasn't as wonderful since the weather when we visited was very blegh.) Check it out!

Cute friendly staff I tried the matcha with banana cold foam was delicious!! I will be back to try some more drinks!

From the makers of Rosehip Coffee, allow me to introduce you to its sister, Rose Hip Market! Now there's 3 parts to this place, coffee, baked goods, and a refrigerator section where there's on the go meals and items ready for your convenience! We didn't get any of their meals, but someone was eating their grain bowl and that looked delicious! The bar that we had reminded us of a mix between an oatmeal cookie and a brownie bar and it was pretty good! We all enjoyed our coffees as well! They have some flavoring options for those who want to add something as well! I was lucky enough to meet the owners, and they are a delight! Super friendly and were giving me recommendations ! And Aside from all of that, it has a pretty mellow vibe to it! Think floral minimalist! Small yet open space, with a "market" full of items crafted by local businesses! It really is beautiful!! Go give this spot a try and show your love, they just opened!

I had one of the best cold brews I've ever had here.I added a squirt of lavender rosemary syrup and it was just sweet enough. The cashier was so friendly and funny. They sell other canned drinks, ready made heat up meals for the family, and pastries. There are a few cute places in the area as well that are worth checking out.

Meh. I've tried this place now twice because it's so close to our house and I've been pretty disappointed both times. I really think I just don't like the espresso they use. Both times it's tasted too watery for me. And, while I normally prefer homemade syrups over store bought, the syrups here are a little odd. They use strange combinations, like lavender rosemary (I think it was rosemary, it was an herb of some sort lol). Also not really my vibe inside at all either. A little too bright for me. If there's a highlight, it has to be the service. The baristas have always been friendly, helpful, and kind!

I got an iced Vanilla latte, it was delicious! Lady was great and personally. I will definitely be returning to work on my computer. I went on a Sunday so it was busier than what I would assume on weekdays.

I decided to check out the place during an early Saturday weekend. I've heard from a friend that this is her favorite coffee place. Thankfully we had enough space to park, but I can imagine it can be tricky when it gets busy. The inside is colorfully organized and vintage! I love how everything is sorted from the cute gifts, plants, items, and food you can buy. There were two girls who greeted me and helped take my order. I asked for their recommendation and they suggested the Tumeric Rose latte since I told them I lean more to sweet and earthy flavors. I'm glad they picked that drink for me because it was delicious! I love the taste as tumeric is my favorite and they were able to bring out the bold flavor in it! The service is great with the two ladies as they let me lounge while they prepared my drink. The lighting is great and overall I would like to come back and visit! Definitely a great coffee shop and cute store!

You walk into this place and feel so welcomed both by the staff & the warmth of the aesthetics. It's is cozy, cute, and everything is truly delicious. The herbal flavorings have a very "fresh from the garden" appeal. The muffin is too divine. I think about it often haha... get yourself some curated wines, take away meals, and vegan tacos from plantaqueria. Pick up a cute local gift for a friend on the market side of the shop. Highly recommend!

One of those small spots you stumble upon that will have you going back. Clean, healthy eats and drinks in the cutest little shop. Mostly inside seating with a couple of tables out front. I had a matcha latte with almond milk and a grab and go quinoa salad and both were great!

So, when co-workers wanted to go yesterday, I jumped on it. Don't get me wrong. I love the vibe of this place. I LOVE their story. It's very NY/Northeastern deli feel (they're from Pittsburgh, but you get my drift, right!?). No nonsense. Small inside area. No tables inside. Just enough room to look at the menu, order, and go wait outside. I opted for the chicken bacon ranch on hoagie. What came out was a decent size sandwich, but incredibly messy and soggy. There was so much juice/ liquid the sandwich quickly became unmanageable and just disintegrated. Look, if you're going to serve a sandwich that messy, please upgrade your napkins. It was a one bite - two napkin ratio. The sandwich was good, but the mess and difficulty eating it just took away any enjoyment. Additionally, the flies outside rivaled the worst I've experienced. Do you remember the scene in the Lost World, Jurassic Park movie when the hunters found the Rex nest!? Okay, okay, maybe not that bad, but it was a lot. Hang some fly bags or strips or somethin'. Found price to be a little high. By the time I bought chips and a drink, plus tip: $22. Just FYI: my co-worker disagrees. He thought it was the BEST SANDWICH HE'D EVER HAD. So, yes, go give them a try, but bring a beach towel for clean up.
