I tried the Electric Mango Bowl, which came with granola, green apples, mangoes, biwi, strawberries, passion fruit syrup, and coconut shavings. So refreshing and flavorful! There was definitely a generous amount of toppings compared to the base. The bowl looked a bit small at first, but I was surprisingly full by the end. I think it's really fun that they offer different fruit bases. I would be interested in trying their signature Aruba Ariba bowl, which is a tropical blend of Electric mango, Blue Spirulina, & Dragon fruit bases. Service was fast--my bowl was made quickly. Since I ordered it to-go, they wrapped it in saran wrap and tin foil to help insulate the coldness, which I appreciated. My only small note is that it got a little too sweet toward the end. Still, a great spot if you're craving something tropical and vibrant!

For brunch, I bought the Aruba Ariba Bowl, Monkey Madness Tosti, and Aruba Sunset Smoothie. My husband had no interest in ordering anything. The total price was $33 plus tax and tip. Several minutes later, my foods were ready. I ate my meal inside the restaurant, which had plenty of tables and seating, including a swing. The foods tasted fresh and sweet. We did notice flies flying around. Later, the business downloaded my photos of my foods from my Instagram and posted them on their Instagram, Facebook, and business website without asking me for permission, crediting me by name, and compensating.

This is a great location as it's in the town square with plenty parking in the free lot, staff were very nice and helpful, seemed to enjoy their job. I had the mango smoothie and Thai chicken wrap while my son had the sunshine smoothie and quesadilla (forget which). As a first time customer, I must say I was surprised at the size of the smoothies they definitely are about twice the size as your typical regular size at any other place so the price of roughly $7-8 is met with that and seems to be quality + fresh. The wrap was good, however little chicken in it. I like how they have the phone app to order ahead and offer a free smoothie after your first order (tried the green smoothie after the gym!), also have point system and offer for discounted smoothie for service surveys. Nice comfortable small seating area. Great overall concept of the chain just in my opinion can be pricey however that is likely the costs these days. Time will see if the app points system is worth it.

Everyone in my group had been there before except me, so apparently I was the last one to get the memo. There were six of us, and five of us shared nearly everything so we could sample a good portion of the menu. We ordered the Smoked Salmon Toast, Tomato Burrata Toast, Greek Toast, 3 Cheese Italian Toast, and the seasonal Fig & Prosciutto Toast. We also tried several juices, coffees, and a matcha coconut drink. The Smoked Salmon Toast was my personal favorite, and one of my friends agreed. Three of our friends picked the Tomato Burrata Toast as their favorite, which also made complete sense. The Greek Toast brought bright Mediterranean flavors, and the seasonal Fig & Prosciutto Toast was the surprise standout; sweet, savory, a little unexpected, and very well balanced. Everything tasted fresh and high-quality, and the presentation was beautiful without feeling overly curated for Instagram. The portions were also more generous than I expected, especially considering how polished everything looked. The café was clean, bright, and inviting. The staff were genuinely friendly, helpful, and smiling; it honestly felt like people enjoyed working there, which made the whole visit even better. For six people, the total came out to around $120+, which felt reasonable given how much we ordered and the quality of the ingredients. I wish there were a Toastique closer to me because I would absolutely come back and keep working my way through the menu. Definitely worth visiting if you are in the Mt. Lebanon area.

On one recent visit, I placed a takeout order for the time I expected to be finishing up with a massage a couple doors down. My massage ran way over and I expressed my concern about it to my provider. She sent over the front desk attendant to pick up my order. When I finished, I had a message from the Toastique manager saying he really hoped to reach me because I had left my smoothie behind when I walked out (somehow they got this worked out, because both my toast and smoothie were waiting for me at the front desk). On another recent visit, I showed up just about 20 minutes before they were set to close and asked if they would still be able to make a bowl for me. They looked like they were starting the process of organizing and cleaning up ingredients but were happy to do it. Just always such nice, helpful people and the food is delicious and nourishing. I'm in this area a lot and this is becoming a go to spot for food that I can feel good about.

The buffet at Whole Foods will forever be (as long as I've lived so far) my favorite buffet of all…read moretime, and this is coming from someone who truly appreciates the buffet experience, especially because of the variety, even though I don't "binge" the way I used to anymore for health reasons, and the buffet is take-home only (I think?). Not only is there such a wide variety of tasty food at the Whole Foods buffet, but you actually feel healthy eating it, and you can make it highly nutritious. You can get excited about the salads, or the roasted vegetables, or the orange chicken, or even that herb feta that you can quite frankly put on anything and everything. The way they make their orange chicken is honestly my favorite. I'm not usually someone who gets excited about orange chicken, but the way they do it here (it's just amazing) and hard to beat. I also love that I can mix together a bunch of healthy salads at once, and I really appreciate the flavor profiles and the freshness (it just elevates the whole experience). I'm honestly forever inspired by this place. It makes me want to look up recipes, learn how different flavors go together, and experiment on my own. It's as much a learning experience as it is a health experience. Anyway, I know it's not cheap, but for me, it's still really worth it. It's consistently something that makes me feel "renewed" so I'm going to keep it as a part of the routine as long as I can afford it. Another cool perk is that if you're a Prime member, you get 5% back if you use your Chase/Whole Foods/Amazon setup. And honestly, the customer service at Chase Bank is the best, and Prime is convenient, so it all just goes together; and while I realize they're kind of taking over the world right now (they are), they're doing it in a way that works for me, so it is what it is. Also, the kale salads (people really need to understand how good kale can be when it's done right) are nothing short of life changing and it can give you the inspiration you need to make it yourself. In addition to the hot bar, they also have specialty items I can only really find here (like Pacha bread, seed crackers, unsweetened coconut yogurt, broccoli greens, organic baby kale greens, and a bunch of other unique, healthy options that are honestly really exciting). That said, baseline prices are definitely high. For example, tart cherry juice at Whole Foods is literally around $14, whereas at Target (across the street) it's more like $5. So it's one of those things where you kind of have to go back and forth and be strategic about what you buy where. Let's face it, Whole Foods is not leading the world in cheap prices. Because it's pricey, you do have to be real and shop at other grocery stores when you can, but every time I go, I can't help myself from getting at least a little bit of the buffet food if it's open, because that's really where it's at.
