I've been here a couple more times since my initial visit and wanted to give a shout out to the incredibly kind staff. On one recent visit, I placed a takeout order for the time I expected to be finishing up with a massage a couple doors down. My massage ran way over and I expressed my concern about it to my provider. She sent over the front desk attendant to pick up my order. When I finished, I had a message from the Toastique manager saying he really hoped to reach me because I had left my smoothie behind when I walked out (somehow they got this worked out, because both my toast and smoothie were waiting for me at the front desk). On another recent visit, I showed up just about 20 minutes before they were set to close and asked if they would still be able to make a bowl for me. They looked like they were starting the process of organizing and cleaning up ingredients but were happy to do it. Just always such nice, helpful people and the food is delicious and nourishing. I'm in this area a lot and this is becoming a go to spot for food that I can feel good about. read more

Stopped by for the first time yesterday and had the best experience! I got an iced vanilla latte and it was perfect. I don't love my lattes super sweet or milky and this one was so good. The Greek toast with hummus was also so fresh. Staff was super nice and it was so bright and clean. Would definitely recommend. read more

What an incredible café this is. I stopped here one day as I was on the main street and saw a sign outside their front door that looked really enticing. The smoothie was quite expensive, but it was oh so good. And it really seemed that everything in the place was genuinely healthy. The person who took my order was the same person who handcrafted the smoothie and she seemed nice. I didn't get any food, but maybe on a future visit. read more

We got a chance to preview Toastique before it opens on Saturday! My friend said that her sister in law had one near her in DC and she was obsessed with it. We were greeted by the owners and they were super nice! We ordered a couple of toasts, a couple of drinks, and a couple of bowls. The inside is spacious and very bright and well lit. There's some smaller tables and booths available. My spicy crab toast was actually spicy and I loved it. The smoked salmon toast also had excellent flavor. The toasts were so filling!! My Pitaya lemonade was very refreshing. My mango tango bowl was huge and very light and refreshing and I enjoyed all the different textures in the PB + B bowl. Overall, it was a great experience and I would come back. I enjoyed how their menu is fairly small and everything was done well. Really nice and bright restaurant with many tables and nice seating area. Many healthy options with a creative menu. The avocado smash with egg was delicious. Also had the Purple Heart smoothie that has blueberry, spinach, pineapple almond milk and a few other ingredients. Really enjoyed the smoothie. It was an easy walk to it from the nearby public parking garage (the main street parking is too narrow for my wide car). I had a great brunch at Toastique on a late Sunday morning. They were very busy, but we were able to get "bar seating" to enjoy our toasts and drinks. It was hard to choose from the menu since everything looked amazing, but the avocado toast with its fresh toppings & colorful presentation was a great choice! I also had the Purple Heart smoothie, which I loved. Toastique is a great example of how healthy, whole foods can be delicious too. Excited to go back next time I'm in the area! read more

We stopped in here with our kiddos last Sunday, and it is a great addition to Mt Lebanon. They have a nice variety of toasts, juices, bowls and smoothies. They even had a kids menu for the littlest ones. I enjoyed a avocado toast, my husband devoured a bowl, and our kids split a kids smoothie and PB&J! It's a fast casual spot so you put your order in and they'll call your name at the counter once it's ready! Our food was ready quite quickly and all of the staff was busy working on other menu items. Each item was created with care and artistry. Truly our food was picture perfect - but we were too hungry to stop for the picture. First the food is really fresh and delicious. The combination of ingredients is a delight for the palate. The good part is you can make some adjustments to the ingredients but was happy to just enjoy my toasts as it was offered. I had the Greek and Tomato Burrata and I could seriously eat them every day. Street parking or pay per hr garage/parking lot The place was clean and bright. I ordered a spicy tuna toast which was delicious. However, when I entered none of the staff even looked up from what they were doing and it took me a few minutes to look over their menu and figure out where to place the order. Once I've placed the order they gave me a table marker (lime) I'm assuming they were going to bring my food to me. They ended up calling my order out and I retrieved it. After I finished my meal, I didn't know what to do with my dish. Since the toast came out on the board, and it was saucy, the sauce spilled over to the table as I cut into the sandwich and it made a mess on the table. I asked an employee that was walking by "what do I do with my board?" she said "I'll take it". I wish that the staff would have given some sort of instructions. like "enjoy your meal, and leave everything in the table, we will come by and clean up" read more

When we went here I got the PB crunch toast and the superfruit smoothie. Both were very delicious, the workers there were super kind and offered us lots of help. The space itself was also very clean and aesthetically pleasing. The only downside to the place is the price. I've waited a spell to write a review and now is the time. I've had multiple smoothies and two toasts (Mediterranean and salmon). Everything is top notch! The smoothies are well crafted with love and the open faced toasts (I think of them as Smorrebrod the Scandinavian equivalent) and well proportions and well made. Very fresh. They also have a seasonal menu of both drinks and toasts. I will be back often and am so glad to have this in Mt. Lebanon! read more

I just left this restaurant with very mixed reviews. The restaurant is a nice looking modern restaurant that could have nice appeal. A major downside was the employees. As a first timer and no one in the restaurant, I was not greeted well. With 3 employees behind the counter talking and laughing while eating some sort of greens that would also be used for food. I was not greeted but pointed at and told to go to the other end of the counter to order. The employee just looked at me with nothing said. When I asked a simple question as to what were in 2 of their smoothies, she could not answer and said she didn't know so I just ordered the pumpkin smoothie. When the smoothie was done, she sat it on the counter and looked at me, walked away and went back to standing behind the counter talking with her peers. No thank you, nothing even after leaving a generous tip. They will not be getting my business anytime soon.
