I came here because I didn't think there was a closer Pressed Juicery to my home in Oceanside. The staff there told me that they had just opened a Carlsbad location a few days ago so that is where I'll be visiting from now on. Staff was friendly and we were greeted promptly. We were given a number of samples of our choosing to try before deciding what to get. We were lucky to go the day that we did because we benefited from the $5 any bottle sale- which is great, because I got more for my money. The bottles are typically $6.50 each so this was definitely a nice deal. My favorite by far was the chocolate almond which reminded me of a malted chocolate beverage- similar to Ovaltine. I enjoyed many of the other flavors too but have a hard time choosing those favorites. You can't go wrong with the quality of juice here. I'm impressed. I have called every location in Orange County between yesterday and today and none of the freeze machines for the blood orange flavor are working. This was an issue in the past with the coconut freeze, the greens back in the day, and other flavors. This is a COMPANY ISSUE, not a problem caused by their employees. It's actually so annoying and unprofessional and corporate needs to take care of this. If machine repairs don't fix the machine completely then replace it, it's not like the company can't afford it. First and foremost, their staff is very friendly and they always give honest and good opinions about their products. We have only tried their ice cream so we cannot speak on their other juices and menu items. But the ice cream is magnificent! They keep it short and sweet when it comes to flavors and toppings so it's not too overwhelming. We really appreciate that all of their ingredients are natural and not processed or contain GMO's, corn syrup, and other "natural flavors". Each staff member has their own favorite and will help you figure out what you're in the mood for or what you need to hydrate and detoxify. Free samples are key. The staff will happily pour you a little of each juice you'd like to try. This is something I never experienced with other juice bars in NYC and LA. And I tell ya, it really makes you feel comfortable and genuinely good about buying a couple juices on the spot. The juices are wonderful. They have coffee blends, hydrating waters with chlorophyll as well as coconut water blends. These range approximately $6. With the more filling, signature juices you'll find them at $8 at most. My favorite juice is the "brazil nut". It is by far my favorite and the perfect pick-me up midday. Inside the brazil nut is: romaine, kale, spinach, brazil nut, sea salt, vanilla bean and dates! My other favorite treat is the citrus 2 juice: pineapple, apple, lemon. This is so refreshing and has such a beautiful vibrant yellow color. It's like it's smiling back at you. For a more healthier option with less sugar and more greens, I like the green juices. I forget the exact number for the one green juice with cilantro in it, but that one is my favorite! Juicing is not a cheap lifestyle. But Pressed Juicery makes it affordable to purchase a juice while shopping or ever so often cleanse for a couple days with their fantastic pricing. To me thats what truly puts them above other brands. They're flexible in their cleanses too. You can choose exactly what juices you'd like for your cleanse whether 3 day or 5. And for signing up to their rewards program, you can receive 25% off your total order on the same day. All juices are pre-made and stocked in the cooler behind the cashier desk at the Spectrum location. I've never had a problem with them being out of a juice I wanted. This is my new favorite juicery! I usually rotate between Mother's Market, Whole Foods, and Nekter but after trying this place, I was addicted! I highly recommend trying a one day cleanse. It is costly, 6 juices + 2 cleansing waters will set you back $39.50. I have tried other one-day juice cleanses and this one worked the best for me. It was highly cleansing but I also felt great! I wasn't grouchy and hungry during the fast since I was drinking juice every 2 hours from the time I woke up. I also love how they number the juices so you know which one to drink next. Each juice in the cleanse is different and unique; I love the variety! Each juice is also very flavorful and not too sweet. Favorites: Greens 1.5, 2, 3 Roots 2 Citrus 2 Vanilla Almond, Coconut Cinnamon, and Chocolate Almond - on the sweeter side but so delicious! Vanilla Coffee - tastes like an almond milk latte! Aloe Vera and Chlorophyll water They have 3 different cleanse kits - Cleanse 1 includes tasty, sweeter drinks for someone who is not used to green/low sugar juices. Cleanse 2 is a mixture of greens with sweeter drinks. Cleanse 3, which is my favorite, has mostly green juices and lower sugar juices, for a more effective cleanse. For a few dollars you can get real coconut water out of green coconut. The young woman who helped me told me about the freeze options and gave me samples. I ordered half green and the other half a vanilla chocolate blend with some toppings. This way I could have some variety. Everything tasted wonderful. I think my favorite is the vanilla. She also provided samples of some of the juices. I liked the coconut cinnamon and vanilla almond. I decided at that time that I would be back. My most recent purchase was the Seasonal: Spiced Almond. It's very delicious! It is sweet; so this might be a nice substitute for dessert. The only drawback is that all of their juices are served in plastic. I know the prices would be higher if they were sold in glass bottles.
