Man I am LOYAL to this place. Everything here is good! The iced mocha, the mocha java smoothie, regular java smoothie, iced cinnamon dolce, breakfast sandwich... There aren't many drive thru coffee places in oakland so this one is super convenient. Also, the girls working are always super sweet!! I ride for this spot fr and always bring visitors here when we wanna grab a quick coffee :) it's also right by the freeway ramp. There's a 50¢ card fee so I always bring cash with me to make my order a little cheaper! read more

I hate doing this because I frequently come here. My kids love their smoothies and it's convenient. Unfortunately every time I come and am "helped" by the young lady with the tattoos and face piercings she has a horrible attitude and makes you feel like your bothering her by showing up to get food and drinks. I have been meaning to write this for months but always assume she's having a bad day. Well today at around 4:30pm the be right back sign was up. I assumed they weee on a potty break and told my young kids that we would wait 5 minutes and if they weren't back we would just go somewhere else for smoothies. She walked up saying things under her breath that felt like she was cursing us out for being there, rolled her eyes and just had the worst face ever. She went in , opened the window and said "what do you want" I asked for my kids drinks and then my 4 year old asked for a sandwich and she said very rudely "no more food" I said okay and she said abrasively "anything else" I said no. She handed me my kids drinks and when I said thank you she just closed the window. My advice to this girl is to find a job that brings you joy because clearly servicing a mother and her children is not what you want to do. My advice for the owners is to find workers who want to work and serve others with warmth. I also want to make it clear I have never been rude to her even with her awful attitude. Today I almost said something to her but with my children in the car it wasn't worth it. Next time I see her I will do what she probably wants and not stop here. Too bad for the owners/business. read more

Hello. I usually love this place as I bring the kiddo here as something fast and yummy. I've been going at least for the past eight months multiple times a week and usually there is great customer service and all, but lately they hired this girl with a nasty attitude, the lady with a flower face tattoo since I didn't catch her name. She has been rude countless times even the kiddo notices. We assumed it was a bad day but it's been week after week, not sure what her issue is but it sucks since we love this place. She also waters down my coffees in a way that literally no other employee there does so idk if it's personal or if maybe she's not the sharpest, but regardless we came back and gave it more and more chances. Not after today with her rudeness regarding a receipt. It bothered me so much so that I actually won't be back after today which is a shame - so convenient and fast. I also never leave reviews unless something really bugs me. She has been and after today no more. read more

I've been here a couple of times and each time I get the salmon bagel. They don't call it a lox sandwich, but that's basically what it is. No capers, but I like it that way. I've also tried the morning star smoothie--what an interesting mix of tangy and creamy. Refreshing for sure, and definitely a great choice when the weather starts to warm up again! It's super quick and conveniently located! The baristas are kind and super speedy. The breakfast sandwiches are better than Starbucks the taste, portion and price. I think the syrups could be better and more rich/flavorful (possibly invest in a better brand). But it's one of the only drive throughs in Oakland and overall I love it so much. I grew up in the PNW where Drive through espresso stands are really common, I'm so happy to have found one of a very few drive through espresso stands in the bay. Special shout out to Carla and Jade (I believe I spelled both of your names correctly, do correct me if I'm wrong) I adore swinging by for a drink, sometimes I'm not even in the mood for a coffee but I want to swing by simply because they are so friendly. I never really appreciated drive through Windows prior to being a parent. Today was a prime example of joe amazing they are. My child would not nap for my partner, so I took her with me. I had to go pick something up from my dentist and swing by a store to grab some OJ, since I forgot it this morning (I only went to three stores). Of course my child falls asleep in the car, before I could get the OJ. I was in Temescal already, so checked out their menu, drove through, got the OJ. I'm not the biggest smoothie devotee, but I think this place does a solid job. Located right next to an oil change shop (and right next to a freeway entry ramp), you can either drive up to the window or walk up to place your order. I've never done the driving option, so I'm not sure how quickly service would go if there was a line of cars. However, there has never been a line when I've gone (maybe I've avoided the morning traffic rush?), and service has been prompt and attentive. I've tried the pineapple smoothie, and it is full of pineapple flavor and is not overly sweet. You can also get whip cream added if you want to be decadent. I'm definitely a fan! read more

Great location by the on ramp to 24. Organic coffee! Friendly service, they'll add cream and sugar for you with a smile. You can even drive up on either side of the booth.
